Usually the Dean Town covers I see get muddled by screwing up the 16th note runs in the intro. You can tell these boys use their metronomes regularly. Absolutely fantastic timing and skill.

Wow, those bass 16th notes at the beginning are extremely difficult for a bass player. Both the finger endurance, and just precision you need to stay on beat. I've been playing bass for 30 years and can't do it like that.
contrary to what some folks are saying, I think the bark of the P-bass is even better than what Joe uses on the original recording -- more clarity, more bite. Well done!
