    Enjoyable to watch. I kind of guessed that guy at the store was having that convo with his wife! You can see why on average being married makes men live longer. Funny how we do indeed end up finding out other options we has just as about to leave a place! Great adventure.

    It’s so nice to see you both again. Sorry, I haven’t been around. My wife and I both have been dealing with some serious health issues. My wife’s cancer is over, thank goodness, but I’m doing better, but not out of the woods. Sorry you’re having bike issues. I hope it holds out until you get home. All the best with your ride. How awesome.

    This is one of the best videos you have made, which I have watched. Terrific to see the sights on this leg of your tour. The food for lunch and dinner looked delicious. Keep safe.. Love the Vietnamese people.

    Looks like another epic chapter in your cycling tour. Gotta say though that I’m glad you commented on how the motorcyclist cut in front of you guys and then just sort of stopped. ‘Nuff said. Will return to watch the rest of your tour later today! Yeah, what a nice tour would never have paid much attention to that country were it not for your videos. Very well done-informative interesting and entertaining. Looks like your bike is okay but just a little noisy hopefully that’s all.

    Noise is a hub bearing. Once home pull apart and repack the hubs, the rain might have gotten into the bearings. From experience most hubs have minimal grease in them including Shimano.

    Coincidentally, as you were talking about the clicking noise and your camera was showing the front tire, it looked like a white mark on your tire and each time that mark passed the upper fender strut, the noise happened. So, definitely in sync with your tire rotation and not the drive train. Maybe something hitting a fender strut or something stationary each time a tire rotates. Can't tell if it's front or rear but it's in sync with tire and wheel rotations. Should be eash to get off the bike, spin each wheel and locate the issue. You probably already fixed it lol.

    Thanks again for a wonderful view of a part of Vietnam that most of us do not get to see.
    Now that you are back in the US, I assume there are not many videos from Vietnam that remain.
    Best wishes that Thoung can join you in the near future.

    The noise sounds like it’s coming from either the wheel (something stuck to it or the disc brake pads rubbing on the disc. Sounds very similar when I was riding gravel bike in Spain. Love your videos Keep it up🎉🎉🎉

    Goodie, double video this time ! 😊
    So glad you decided to go on this tour, giving us a chance to discover Vietnam beyond its tourist coast, and the gorgeous green scenery is well worth the effort.
    I can easily understand why you were surprised by the rubber trees, as nowadays, synthetic rubber is commonly used.
    Did you find out the cause of the moise, was it something protruding hitting the wheel ?

      We're both really glad we did this trip too. Didn't find the source of the noise, but it did stop completely at times.

    If its not the hub bearing, check your front mud guard..

  • @MrCyclist

    Wow. just love 30 minutes of great video. Any reason you don't buy fresh fruits and coconut water? The noise sound like a loose mudguard. Is there talk about revaluing the currency for millions to something manageable? Just asking.

    • @TwoWheelCruise
      @TwoWheelCruise  6 місяців тому

      We sometimes get bananas and sugar cane juice. We had coconut water with some of our lunches too. Don't know anything about the currency changing

  • @andrewnorris5415
    @andrewnorris5415 6 місяців тому

    Guessing, noise could be brakes or hub? Or even rear mech cable rubbing on spokes (simply bend back). Sometimes the metal spring in the pads get damaged and needs bending back, can happen when changing a wheel.

    A nice, curious and almost relaxing ride. At least it didn't rain. Too bad for Thuong's cycle computer 😥
    As for the noise, I'll try to guess. Fender? Take it off and test if it still makes noise.

    My guess it is a loose or broken spoke.I suspect that if you touch each spoke, one will be out of tension. Second guess, wheel bearing. Definitely not bottom bracket. Of course this information is useless as you are long gone. Enjoying these tour videos.
