At it again, here we are installing our Ford 8.8 swap kit into our 135i shop car! We used our 8.8 adapter brackets, SLG built differential with carbon-clutch LSD, SLG axles with billet stubs and a SLG driveshaft.

No anti-seize? No lock washers on the bracket hardware? Michigan and no fluid film ever? You two live dangerously! Good show making these parts! I need to adapt one of these 8.8's to my car and this is nice; seeing others resort to 'Mericuh parts because our OEMs gave us tin foil and pot metal. Now for the Strange Racing internals and a Wavetrac diff.

Why are these Bmw shops charging me 1600 for labor installation for this bolt on diff kit that y’all installed in a 30 min video????

Dude I hate you guys for making this kit. I literally just pulled my diff carrier last night, was about to throw my money on a Wavetrac, and BOOM I hear about this option. The Wavetrac is going to cost me 2800. Is this kit worth the extra money? Because to me it seems like it’s worth every penny.

Thank you so much for this video! I probably wouldn't have found this product without the video, but since the adapter also works for the e92 subframe I'll be purchasing it for my Time Attack 135 build. Still a ways off, however great to know that this is the route I'll take.

what gear ratio do i choose and does it matter?
It depends what transmission you have, we liek 3.31 for manual, 3.55 for auto and 3.08 for DCT
Is it possible to just pick up the axles?

the Ford 8.8 doesn't have 3.46 gears, looking to do an upgrade to mine but its an XI and was originally Auto. and a 3.08 front is near impossible to find. Wondering if Gforce would do a 9" conversion with me.

Hey looking into this conversion for my E92 335i but it is a Xdrive I was just wondering if it’ll impact the my car differently since there’s front differential as well as a awd actuator. Will my front dif and drive shaft be able to keep up with the new and improved 8.8 LS. I’m also thinking about swapping my subframe to the M3 subframe. Thank you and much love keep up the grate work.

Hey Man. I planning to build my 323i and I got a 8.8. I was looking into your guys kit but I didnt know if it would still fit with my chassis. It's a 2006 BMW 323i.
Yes it will fit, you just need to swap to 330 or M3 trailing arms because they use the large axle spline we make our stubs for. Much stronger.
Does this kit locate the pinion lower than the factory diff? The single piece driveshafts sometimes don’t have enough clearance to the underbody and will cause the knuckle to rub.
Yes. No issues with our driveshaft at all
Will it work on 320i or 325i e90? Im planning to put 8.8 diff on an LS swap project

Soooo, what about the rest of us who dont wanna give up our e36. There are still a lot of e36's out there getting V8 swapped and or Turbo'd. When can we expect a Ford 8.8 bracket kit for the e36 8.8 lsd swap? The e90's are beginning to hit the salvage yards and they're looking good; I just dont wanna give up my e36.
the explorer doesn't really fit in the subframe so were are stuck, we don't have the man hours to do a e36 subframe. We are changing over to use super 8.8 diffs and maybe we will be able to offer this
