I know this is an old video, but I hope you still get to see the comment. It's a very clear, concise video, and the easiest to understand that I've seen. Thanks for posting.
This same shape is superb as the basis for an embroidered Pin Cushion made from two squares of Aida; just be sure to baste the seam allowances to the WS before hand sewing together. Imagine Scandinavian Snowflake Designs in white and Silver on Blue Aida, or a Floral wreath on white as the motif! As for stuffing; wool yarn or fabric cut into scraps is good; make sure the pincushion is firmly stuffed though, and BRAN is a traditional stuffing; I'm still using one stuffed with Bran over 60 years ago! And a tiny one can be filled with finely ground Emery or other polishing compound; you can get it at Rock Tumbling Suppliers; a common craft with kids to polish some beach stones! I did it, my kids did, and ow my GD has one. Corn meal also works; coarser is better, also Steel Cut Oats. ANything foodwise though does need to be bone dry; place it on top of a heating vent or such a warm place for a few hours occasionally!

Glad you enjoyed it, CJ. Happy sewing - hope it turns out wonderfully! :)
This is so cute & looks like a mini ottoman or seat cushion.
They are toooo much fun to make, and yes... so adorable. Have fun making a few of your own Michelle!
@@DinkydooFabrics I will. Thanks!🤗
A great little pin cushion pattern idea. Very uncomplicated and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing :)
Any time, Darlene! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Wow, you made that really easy to understand. I always wondered how this shape was sewn together!
Glad it was easy to understand! Thanks for watching!!
Cute!! I like how you showed the different fillings at the end.
Thank you! 😊
fantastic tutorial! I used rice in the bottom and pure wool in the top ;)
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the little project Donna! :)
Fun! Gotta use those scraps up. :)
Yes! It's a great scrap buster. Put them to use! :)
Sew cute!
Thanks, Jay Dee! :)
Cute enough for a “sewers” tuck in gift. Easier stuffings than trying to find walnut shells.
Agreed! Glad you enjoyed the video, Jayne! :)
Biscornu “cat toy”!!
Haha, you know it! Maybe line it with some cat nip... :)

Great tips, Liz! I'm amazed that bran can be used as a stuffing, but that makes sense too. Very cool! Thanks so much for watching and your comment! :)
