They always say predators have forward-facing eyes, while typical prey animals have eyes on the sides of their skulls... But when you look at this bear skull... they're not exactly facing in a perfectly forward direction. Hmm. I think in nature there are no rules, and almost everything is its own exception. The theory that predators have eyes in front... that's just nonsense. I always knew it was just a very weak generalized statement. A T-rex had eyes on the sides of its head. But whatever. Sorry to just ramble and answer my own rambling point.
