I think unslicked hair is pretty too. I don't have my hair slicked back all the time. And your hair was pretty when they tried to "drag" you and it's pretty on this video 😊
Opinion 5, anyone asking me how they can get their hair full and long, I just tell them to enjoy their short phase cause they would enjoy it better. I miss short hair
For the first opinion, I actually appreciate you as an influencer because you don’t slick down your hair. I like that you accept your hair for what it is and it has been very helpful for me undergoing my hair journey as well. I actually like my hair more now that I’m accepting it as it is
I dont slick down my hair either. Every time I try to, I feel like my hair is fighting it lol. If anything, I’ll use gels and creams to style my hair rather than slick it all down.
To me the slick back look has roots in eurocentric beauty. We want our curly puffy hair to look slick and place all kinda gels and products to achieve this look.
Completely agree with everything you said! Type 4 hair is definitely manageable- just create a simple routine that works for you. I don’t try to make my hair do all these things that it can’t easily do. I love how thick and full my hair is and how it can hold different shapes
How can you say that the hair that God blessed you with is ugly and not beautiful. Everyone's hair is unique and we are all made in God's image. God never makes mistakes. The same God that created all the beautiful scenery, mountains, sea, oceans created you; a beautiful human being. Love yourself the way you are.
Please, the people that call wigs protective styles yet whenever you see their natural hair it stays the same length and hasn't grown. Also, the fact that so many people will use "protective styles" just for the cute aspect not bc it's actually doing anything for their hair
I really like the way you said the natural hair community shouldn't make 4c hair people feel uncomfortable and also I tried slicking my hair back but my natural hair didn't slick because it's thick and I've just be transitioning for 11 months
Why should we let our beautiful type 4 hair conform to the straight hair standards when our hair works uniquely. You'll never see straight hair grow up, it grows down. Our beautiful hair grows up like a gorgeous crown. When we say we are all unique and humans are different and no one has the same DNA, chanel that same energy when you talk about hair. And hair of all different races.
How you said not to obsess over long hair! Mine is medium length and i find its easier to be patient with it when i dont only watch hip / waist length videos.
I agree about the whole slick-down thing. I have been using less and less edge control. And don't get me wrong, I love edges but my hair also looks "done" without it.

Thank you for saying you don't need protective styles to grow your hair! I enjoy wearing my hair out daily and it still grows.
I only use 4 products: Shampoo, deep conditioner, leave in, sealant
Blue magic hair grease is the best
yesss
Agreed
I use both blue magic hair grease and Jbco and rub it together and seal my hair
Das the old school OG❤❤❤
Your insight and “unpopular opinions” are spot on sis! Love your gorgeous natural look and style. Natural beauty for real! ❤️
Yup grease helps retain my length because it seals moisture in for the whole week until I wash it again, which means less manipulation
facts facts facts!!! i agree with every opinion!! btw your’re gorgeous you’re giving model vibes
omgg that just made my day 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
@@Oshunnn hey can I get in contact with you? I recently did the big chop.
