For me, its many things but mostly, its the routine of it all. Like you said, you know how your hair is going to turn out every time. No guessing game, no stress. I literally used to spend hours in the mirror and it would throw my whole energy off. Now i look forward to doing my hair! Great video
For me it’s the manageability, I wear my hair in updos or half ups / down. I put my hair through the test this hot and humid past summer and did not revert. I’m pretty impressed being a straight hair natural and far worried about heat damage I get trims every 3 to 4 months!
These are great points!! I wish my hair would allow me to be a straight hair natural full time because the convenience is great but the length retention is so so for me lol.
Wash and go if it’s set correctly- good holding gel then scrunch out crunch your style should stay - I’m wearing my hair straight - but I can pull off a hella 5 - 7 day lasting wash and go. With a result that is predictable. Been 5 years natural and this is my first 3 months being straight hair natural. Being able to change my hair and do it myself curly or straight is the FREEDOM I’ve been longing for -
@@STP255 Agreed I did wash n gos with gel but for me it would dry out tangle up and my ends had those knots so many of them. My hair thrives being stretched. I go back and forth between braid outs and silk presses I do straight hair for a few months then take breaks with braid outs ❤️ and yes the freedom to do both curly or straight is freeing 💯
