Where did the Maya class go? And I am Japanese, so I am probably a bit biased, but I believe that even the Atago class, not the Maya class, is superior to the kolkata class. The Atago class has been recently upgraded to the same Aegis System Baseline 9 as the Maya class and is now equipped with an/spq-9b, and can also carry SM-6, although it is not currently scheduled to do so. The Kolkata class, on the other hand, can carry only 32 cells worth of missiles, the remaining 16 cells being for anti-ship missiles, and the range of the Barak-8 missiles is not flattering to begin with, and the Kolkata class is not a dedicated defense ship like the Aegis in terms of armament to begin with. I think the comparison itself is wrong.
all you are talking about is Air defence. Talk about the Radar - The MFSTAR is an AESA radar with a range of around 500 kms. AN/SPY 1 D(V) is a 400 kms PESA radar introduced in 1998. Anti ship/land capabilities - BrahMos can hit targets over 400 kms with speeds of Mach 3. Where does the Type 90 Anti ship missile stand in Comparision? 200 kms range and Mach 0.8? Anti sub warfare - Kolkata is equipped with Heavy torpedo tubes with torpedos have ranges of 40 kms. This is supplemented by ASW rockets for short range targets. Light Torpedo tubes on Atago can match that? Even in aviation capabilities, 2 Helicopters vs 1?

Please update the video. Didn't include Vishakapatnam class destroyer which is the most advanced destroyer from India. Kolkata class mentioned in the list is a decade old one but surprisingly it is doing much better than current ones in the world. Equipped with Brahmos, Vishakapatnam class destroyer's attack capabilities are far superior than the ones mentioned in the list. With Barak 8 defence, it is near impossible to get attacked by any missile.

And i don't know why Kolkata was considered rather than Vishakapatnam. Though same but still different. And type 055 is arguably a cruiser if considered the size. But Kolkata is much better in Anti-ship, Land attack, Anti sub warfare, radar and aviation facilities. Even the design of Kolkata is stealthier and more modern 2010s design. Atago is directly based of the older 1990s Arleigh Burke Class design.
Also Kolkata Class has much more advanced network centric capabilities. Look up "Cooperative engagement capabilities" .

Please update the video. Didn't include Vishakapatnam class destroyer which is the most advanced destroyer from India. Kolkata class mentioned in the list is a decade old one but surprisingly it is doing much better than current ones in the world. Equipped with Brahmos, Vishakapatnam class destroyer's attack capabilities are far superior than the ones mentioned in the list. With Barak 8 defence, it is near impossible to get attacked by any missile.
Vishakapatanam is same as Kolkata but with better stealth,less crew and better radios .

Vishakapatnam is more powerful without a doubt than the Type 52D, Type 055 is no doubt way more powerful than Indian destroyers. But not the Type 52D. And i don't know why Kolkata was considered rather than Vishakapatnam. Though same but still different.
And type 055 is arguably a cruiser if considered the size. But if to be considered as a destroyer it should have been in the top 3. Or 2. And Burke in terms of armament is a bit in the downward side than the Eejon The great. But in terms of sensors its ahead. We should also understand that both the Japanese and Korean destroyers are Aegis destroyers.
