I would love to have met this magestic human being. How he inflicts entire moods, temperature, awe, time of day, completely puts you in the viewers seats as if it is your own memory. I often feel that looking at his paintings, like I have had that very moment in a similar place. It has been surreal. Two are almost identical to actual photos I have taken. Atleast to my minds eye. I know better, because they are the other side of our country. I love getting in my car and finding hiking gems to steal in to my calm, happy place bank. His work is like an instant beam there. Better than an actual picture in most circumstances. I do have one cousin whom captures moods in her photos. I just adore that talent. Wonderful gifts to bless this world.
Thank you for a beautiful presentation of his work. He left a fabulous legacy from his short life. I am so glad I bought David Silcox book of his and the group of seven paintings, when in Canada a few years ago. I am inspired every time I open the book
Beautiful beautiful paintings. So expressive, though I’m not a big fan of orange, I just loved the whole collection. Thank you for including him in your collection. I’m happy to know of him.
A trip into the wilderness and mind of a Master Artist. He had to be there to capture such beauty and at the same time have the talent to show it. Thank you for bringing this to us.
McMichael Art Gallery, Kleinberg, Ontario. I’m a painter, I love the Group of 7 , especially Tom Thomson & A Y Jackson, it’s what landscapes should look like .

This artist is one of the best landscape artist that ever lived. Thank you for the presentation.

Timeless miracles in paint. Intuitive brilliance bar none.
Beautiful presentation of a great artist's work! Died way too young.
who is the artist that died?
@@marens5391 Tom Thomson ... only 39 .. only painted seriously about 3 years.
@@marens5391 Lol, Um the guy in the title. Thom Thomson. He was 39, but he produced memorable works, mostly crammed into three years.
Unbelievably soulful! Beautiful colour harmonies!

Absolutely amazing. I love it.
So thankful for this post. It would be great to see Alfred J Casson's work on this channel as well.
Great stuff. Takes the air out of looking at Bob Ross's paintings
Beautiful landscapes
To have one of his paintings would be a King.
Beautiful
He could do it all. Rare for any artist. How is it that he is not better known?
One of the most tragic losses in Canadian history. I’m also thinking of Stan Rogers. Any one else?
Awesome paintins
