Your videos always have titles that are accurate. No 'bass tricks that will blow your mind', or 'tricks that changed my life'. Yet your videos are more informative than others with such titles. Respect your work, and appreciate what you share all the time. May your channel blow up even more!

That is awesome to hear 🙌 click bait titles are always bad practice. I want people to learn real things with out over doing it with pointless buzz words 🙂 appreciate the love and hope to see you around here more. 🙂

@@demishellen Your philosophy is definitely shown in your videos! You share a lot of tricks, but also your videos are long enough to say that it is the thought process we are learning. Not a trick that can be told in 1 min. My pleasure to give how I feel watching your stuff, and I will be around! I've been watching your vids without commenting haha I honestly had some tough time with my own production, and your materials kept me alive. It gave me directions, hopes, and confidence. Please keep up the good work, and I'll see you more often in the comment sections!

Great level of detail, I can see just how the bottom end hangs together. I look forward to hearing this piece when the sub is added.

I am going to go for a sustained sub bass with a fairly heavy sidechain.

Great video - thanks for demystifying the process of layering trance basses. So many patterns and combinations to choose from...

No Problem, I have put out a couple of videos on this topic as . things are ever changing in the approach to basslines.

I'm always excited when a layering video pops out :)
I was about to ask you about the sub bass and how you mix it with the bass layers. Another question i have is around the kick itself. What you used to do after tuning it and give room for the basses? Do you adjust the level or compress it or just leave it alone?

Take a look at my mixing kick and bass videos. That will answer your question :)

Hi Demis, is there a chart somewhere that provides a guide on where instruments sit across the bass, mid and treble section of a track? This would be extremely useful for me to have a reference to start from, as opposed to just doing it by ear. Any thoughts are welcome?

Nice video Demis...would you happen to have a uplifting melody in Key of G minor I could use lol. I've been tinkering with it for a few days and I'm normally known for melodic ideas.

I may give some away in the future, I literally have hundreds of projects with ideas I can pull from.
