WILLIAMSBURG is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordered by Greenpoint to the north; Bedford-Stuyvesant to the south; Bushwick and East Williamsburg to the east; and the East River to the west.
Since the late 1990s, Williamsburg has undergone significant gentrification characterized by a contemporary art scene, hipster culture, and vibrant nightlife that has projected its image internationally as a "Little Berlin." During the early 2000s, the neighborhood became a center for indie rock and electroclash. Numerous ethnic groups inhabit enclaves within the neighborhood, including Italians, Jews, Hispanics, Poles, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans.

Williamsburg is a bit bigger than the fully gentrified areas in this video. In either case, It's not the rowdy hood I grew up in anymore for sure, but it aint disneyland either lol.

@@sclstl This is a big city. When you step outside of your apartment. You gonna see people recording and taking pictures. It happens a lot if you didn’t know. Unless someone is harassing you or directly pointing the camera at you filming that comes of creepy, then you could say something. Other than that, you can just go on your way.
Something you don't see in too many American cities, is people walking their dogs on the streets
But where are the people in any of these videos...has NYC become a ghost town
