      thanks and yeah i know what you mean, that's why I try and talk about the things nobody else is doing. That';s why i did a video on why heroin addicts/users use tin foil (aluminum foil) mainly for the non using community so they'd understand.

      Well I'm a drug addict and an alcoholic. I don't think it's that much nicer to try to get off alcohol. You feel like you're going to die when you don't drink. It's a lot the same actually. When I quit Vicodins after 15 years it was hard. But Klonopin that was worse. Where I live in the United States they will make you pee in a cup I don't know how you say it over there urinate in a cup? If you fail you never get opioids again. But I'm good with that cuz I don't feel like cannabis hurts me as bad makes me lazy. The CDC says if I wanted to quit opioids they were supposed to give me suboxone another drug that's ridiculously horrible because I know because somebody left one in my house cuz they used to fight over them upstairs my neighbors LOL I think I had two of them I took half of one and I felt like a I don't know I couldn't stop running around my house I felt like a lab rat or something it was not good and no if I was going to quit heroin I don't think I want to do that either why would you want to do that it's horrific? I saw somebody go through heroin withdrawal when I used to get in trouble I was in jail. They would not help the man he was so sick sweating sleeping and that's all he did for days. The inmates helped him nobody else did not where I live in Batavia New York. I have a lot of health issues I'm afraid to even get surgery again and I need surgery so I can ever walk again cuz I got one leg. And the skin is fused to my bone and if I go get surgery I can't do it without something. And yes I will enjoy it but no I don't want to do it. I nearly died from hydromorphone in the hospital the last two times I was there and I was in the hospital. Man it felt good when they gave it to me but then I woke up 7 hours later in my own urine. I would have died nobody was there I didn't have wires hooked up to me I know exactly how they feel right before they die I was happy. But I don't feel like dying really soon. My son died from drugs. And so will you if you don't stop taking them! Every day I told him you got to stop that s*** I could not make him go to rehab I couldn't help him and he died it's not a joke you will die

    You were extremely lucky to have had your withdrawal symptoms well controlled when you was in the ICU. You're a handsome, intelligent and have your whole life ahead of you. I'm glad you're talking so frankly about your addiction and how you go about getting your high. That takes balls. Living in a small town people are going to be aware of you. If I was in your town, I'd be shaking your hands and congratulating you. I hope you remain clean now, for the rest of your life.

      But the cravings are demonic, people always talk about the horrific pain withdrawal causes, but the cravings will basically make you kill yourself over time.

    I have a friend who's been on heroin, now fentanyl for 6 years and he smokes it, but occasionally he shoots up, but not often.
    He's also on a methadone prescription, but it doesn't help him much, it gets him feel ill. In fact it kinda enables his heroin/fentanyl use because then he's able to take breaks and save a bit of money and use both.
    He's also been in meth for 5 years, also crack sometimes. Despite all of this, he has maintained a job, he has a car, but it broke down and can't afford to fix it currently. In terms of appearance. he's not a skinny guy, doesn't look like a stereotypical junkie, he comes across as fairly normal unless he's wired on meth.

    Jesus CHRIST. I wasnt paying a ton of attention and heard ten POUNDS of Heroin. But you meant ten pound sterling! Phew. Ok. God. That's the difference listening to somebody talk about this stuff from the other side of the pond. Good work, very informative. I can tell you both know what you are talking about in a technical and practical sense. I'm gonna go back to watching now. EDIT: WAIT. COCAINE ISNT PHYSICALLY ADDICTIVE? That's a big claim. Can you provide a source for that. It really goes against everything I've ever heard but you do seem very knowledgeable about the science of this so I would actually love too know where you heard this.

    Hi mate a random question I feel like you’d know the answer too, is there a way to take the wax off the balls in morphine tablets to enable smoking? I know it can be done to use IV but not into that myself

    • @nickydaviesnsdpharms3084
      @nickydaviesnsdpharms3084  3 роки тому

      not that i know of but i don't know much about that iv'e only tried injecting the zomorph morphine capsules which contain little wax balls, these break apart when heated and cooked up in boiling water and you get a hit off it too

    • @diesdasananas9903
      @diesdasananas9903 2 роки тому +1

      put the balls from a few capsules in a big metal spoon, add water and heat slowly untill the balls melt. dont heat it too much! dont let it cook. scrape off the wax that builds on top and let the water evaporate. dont heat it to evaporate it, it fucks the morphine. takes a while but voila.. smokable morphine.

    Has fentanyl largely replaced heroin as it has in North?

    • @nickydaviesnsdpharms3084
      @nickydaviesnsdpharms3084  2 роки тому +1

      I think in some places it seems to have. It's an interesting choice tho because it's practically indistinguishable from Heroin to the user, as ii belongs to the same family of drugs but it's about 50 times the potency of heroin and is well absorbed even through the skin.
      You probably know this already. Carfentanil is 10,000 times stronger than Heroin as is also used instead from what I hear. That is only used on animals large game like Giraffe and elephant . That is dangerous even to handle

      There's not that many long term smokers and it's exciting when you meet each other coz there's that social element to it where you can share burns. Bf has been smoking for 30+ years and me 15 years and we showed our friend who has been using 50 years how to, she stopped injecting completely as she actually always hated needles, she wished someone showed her when she was younger. But she wasn't running a habit and is somehow extremely controlled and just uses with us once a fortnight or so, other than her I don't know a soul who has gone from injecting to smoking for longer than a few weeks or maybe months max. Know heaps of people who started smoking but the temptation to go the other way is just too intense when you've got a habit and see your mate going AHHH like that while youre spending ages every morning just to feel barely normal... IF you're lucky. With my friend it's been about 5 years already but somehow my boyfriend and I have been on the same page for the entire last 6-7 years and haven't gotten too carried away but we are on the done which helps, when we get a bit carried away we somehow pull each other back because a dual habit is just hell

      Did the drought hit the uk to in 2000??? It was terrible in Australia apparently. The gear started getting better in around 2013 or so and being smokers we seek out quality but it's apparently never fully recovered. But when I started in 2008 it was SHIT as SHIT. Took a big hit in the pandemic but it's gotten a lot better this year, but everyone says it's never quite 90s. And the gear here isn't even the same as UK. It's the white asian stuff compared to the brown affghan stuff Europe gets

    Methadone is given too easily and is worse to get off than the gear
    95% of people on methadone use on top ,
    I've not used in 9 years but I'm still on a script (Subutex) while queuing at the chemist I noticed half the people picking up there methadone were doing a needle exchange at the same time 🙄
    Far too easy to get methadone then you have two habits

    No one says to someone who develops diabetes or to a smoker who gets a cancer diagnosis, "it's your own fault! You've only got yourself to blame". It may be true, but no one says that. If all humans learnt from the mistakes of others what a utopia we'd live in!!!

      That is 100% true (the first bit) (and the second bit) but the last thing you said I would say isn't necessarily accurate because people like myself have a degree of knowledge. This doesn't remove the risk it just minimizes it.
      The same thing can be said for alcohol which is the most harmful of all drugs to the user and to society.
      I wonder if you consume that or tobacco? If not then nice one

    Glad I haven't and won't shoot up. I discovered tapering down smoking works wonders compared to cold turkey with tramadol.
    1 week with 600mg, then a 2 week holiday with just 800mg worked great. Couldn't get anymore so I took the bare minimum. Was good gear.
    I am guessing that wouldn't be an option when shooting up.
    No need fir methadone with the taper. Just some kratom. But PAWS were bad.
