Great review! Agree with everything you mentioned! Quality materials and excellent utilitarian design from Kyle and crew. I had one on my '93 Stumpjumper M2 with basket and rack and used it for transporting lunches for commuting and leisure riding. Perfect size for a couple banh mi sandwiches and snacks with my wife! Yes, I could use a backpack to store the same amount of "stuff" but hated arriving to work with a sweaty back. I have since sold the combo as I didn't like the clank from the basket bouncing on the rack despite using rubber insulating strips. I think your set up without basket is better but maybe add support board inside. I'll be looking into Kyle's handlebar bag since I can share that with Diverge as well... and the Epic Evo. ;)
