I have “a lot” to say. Video is 7 minutes long comparing all 7 products pros and cons. You are probably the BEST reviewer on UA-cam. I wish all channel was like yours. Probably you and project farms are the only ones I’ve watch. Your video are probably better as you straight up gives numbers instead of showing each products. Straight to the point. Honestly best UA-cam channel out there is. Keep up the good work. I’ll be buying all my vacuum n recommendations from your affiliate links.

Honestly, I wish he'd make his video's a little longer, explaining more of his thoughts on each device in each category, and also keeping his charts, and points up on the screen for longer. Constantly have to pause the video to look at, and compare the specs on each machine. Also, His video's are so good, I want them to last a bit longer. Project Farm gets it right, In my opinion. His videos are longer, without feeling bloated or full of useless information.

@@Fearmylogic i guess everybody have their style. yes the points on screen maybe should be longer? but instead of points, i rather him give specs over points. but then again, there's always his spreadsheet for more "detail" specs. I not too much of a fan of project farm cuz it's detail, but i don't like him reading off numbers. Too repetitive. Again not dissing him, just not my personal taste. But vacuum war is fairly short, maybe a little longer video like you say would help alot.

A tip I learned was to mix the cleaning solution separately and get a pump sprayer or spray bottle. That allows you to apply the cleaner directly to spots. For large rooms it's quicker to apply to the whole area before starting the process of cleaning. Thank you so much for comparing these mini machines 😎 it'll help me when considering what to buy (and hopefully save me money)

Attention auto detailers. The best hands down for vehicles is the Bissell Pet Pro (the purple one ). Suction is great, long hose that can reach a cross car, cleaning head is smaller in size.
I bought one a while back according to this video. I'm glad I did because I was about to get the clean slate hoover or little green. Glad I came across this video.
Oh, and btw, a drill brush is a must. You can't depend on manual scrubbing and your pet machine brushes for every spot or stain.
I pre-treat most times with carpet bomber by P&S ( best carpet cleaner on Amazon ) then mist water and proceed with a drill brush and then extract, works every time.

My family had the same issue. We've had a slightly older version of the spot-bot for a few years, and it works rather well. It's small and easy enough to set up and use. It can sometimes require repositioning and repeated use on larger or more challenging stains, but in most cases it works really well. Bissel makes a pet-specific carpet formula that helps with odors, and breaking down those sorts of organic compounds. Being able to sort of set it and forget it is really nice, especially since it means no kneeling down on the floor and manually scrubbing. Definitely a great option for anyone with mobility concerns.

The feature which influenced my choice of the Hoover Spotless unit for cleaning up dog accidents was the hose cleaner, which isn’t mentioned in this review. There is a port in the side of the unit the hose with head removed fits into which circulates water / solution through the hose to rinse it clean. I found the most convenient way to use it was to just use water in the tank, putting the cleaning solution in a separate spray bottle. I wet the area with the unit, spray on the solution from the bottle, use the nozzle or a separate brush to work it in, then rinse and vacuum up with the unit. There is less wasted cleaning solution that way, I’m able to do the final rinse with plain water and the unit can be drained and dried between uses.

I've been looking for quite some time to buy a Bissell.
Nothing is more frustrating than getting something rather expensive and get less than an average product.
So you go to reviews and there are people who keep talking and talking, just saying tons of stuff without saying anything important, and if it is important then I would probably just forget about it due to the amount of rubbish and then they ask for a subscription, Jesus, as if this wasn't enough.
Then this video arrived. Comparing products on the same level, doing this as if you have OCD and significantly lowering the amount of differentiation between tests.
Perfect rating, straight away to the details and letting us know when you had other thoughts.
Thank you, that's how people should do their reviews, I've immediately subscribed and I don't even remember if you asked for it.
    Thanks again!!

I"ve owned many and by far the biggest issue is that about a year into owning it, the hose becomes brittle and cracks from being bent around the machine all the time. You can replace the hose for around $30, but the second hose, if you can get it to work at all, has a much shorter fail time. I'd suggest you store them all in a closet for a year and see which hoses crack on removal. Also, I dont know if they have fixed this yet, but the green machine... the "dirt" you suck up used to run through the engine, making it fail fast. Spot clean was ok, but had the hose issue also. The annoying thing with that one was that the dirty tank was not easy to rinse out. There was always a wad of gunk left behind that no one could remove and it smelled. We currently have one that you dont have listed. It has a clean tank of about 8 ounces and boy is that ever annoying.

Yep. Had to replace my hose for my spot clean. The newer one seems to be of cheaper quality and more malleable.
It still leaks solution though. It seems the hose assembly is at fault. I've placed mine inside a car oil drain pan (the circular one).

I've had great luck with the older Bissell Spotbot. I have a dog that has puked several times and had diarrhea once (that was disgusting). 90% of the house is hard floor. Guess where the dog goes to puke.... yes, obviously the carpet. After some experimenting I've found the following works best:
    1. Spray the stain liberally with enzyme based pet cleaner. Doesn't have to be anything special, I get it at Kroger. Let sit for a couple minutes while doing step #2.
    2. Fill the sportbot with hot water, no cleaner.
    3. Run the longer 6 minute cycle on the stain.
    4. Use the hose to suck up as much water as possible.
    5. The machine must be cleaned or it will stink! To clean I hold the hose nozzle under the sink with the machine turned on and suck clean water into it until the tank is full. I do this 3-4 times.
My Spotbot is about 5 years old and hasn't had any quality issues. It has also amazed me with some of the stains it has managed to get out. Just my experience and your video was great!

I have a 15 year old Little Green. What I've noticed is that now they are using way less quality parts like the hose on my machine is the anti-kink type. They dont have that anymore. Compared to mine, the new one (I compared it to a friends) has way less suction and way less power. You do have to remove the hose from time to time to clean it out, but that isn't that hard. It's a pain to fill the soap tank, but other than that, it has lasted through 2 elderly dogs so I cant complain.

I had an older version of the Little Green. It was alright, but the cleaning attachment ultimately cracked where it joined the hose - probably because of all the pressure you need to apply to get it to work well. Ive gone through 2 spot bots so far. Initial quality and cleaning was superb on each. The first one randomly just dumped the clean water tank onto the ground while it was sitting there and would no longer hold water after that. It worked so well though I bought a second one. After a few months the second one seemed like the suction on the automatic part died off. Using the "deep clean" (longer cycle, more solution) seemed to pull up a larger percentage of the solution used still. Eventually the hose on manual part came apart though. So im considering buying the bissell spotlcean proheat but i noticed that the power is rated only at 330w where as a proper vacuum sized textile cleaner has a power rating of 1400.
The 1400w is also about 40 euro cheaper where i live but it is very much bigger than the tiny Bissell. The machine which is rated at 1400 is specifically the "Tamforce".
But i cant imagine anyone would pick the small 330w cleaner over a 1400 unless the power rating really does not matter that much?

My original upright Bessel had the spot cleaner hose built right in. But that was many years ago, and sadly that unit involved a total pain to clean the unit after use. Where when my son borrowed the unit, then failed to properly clean the unit after, some part ended up seizing and clogging.
Now I have a Hoover Spotless cleaner that has a WASH OUT PORT, that flushes clean fluid thru the unit ensuring that it doesn’t get gummed up and clogged.

This is a timely comparison for us. Our 15 year old Bissell Little Green machine finally quit spraying solution (but would suction liquid still 🤷‍♀️) and we need a replacement ASAP since we have 3 cats & the humans can make spectacular messes with coffee sometimes.
I'm glad you helped confirm my choice of cleaner to buy with more helpful info than the written reviews tend to have.

I ended up buying the Bissell Spot Clean Pet Pro.
It has worked great. Much easier to clean than my old Bissell.
I used a spray bottle of cleaner and just used the suction of the old cleaner. Then that also quit the day before the cleaner arrived. It had been used and abused for many years. I'm amazed it lasted as long as it did.

So helpful!!! Thank you for doing this!! I have a Rug Doctor Portable Spot cleaner (looks just like the pet version and cost $250 about 4-5 years ago). It’s useful but the dirty water tank can leak!! Also if you tilt it when it’s on the dirty water can spray everywhere - a fine mist of wet dirt or pet urine or whatever you’ve sucked up. I have to keep a towel underneath it during and for a few hours after use cause the dirty water does leak out. Also lost suction cause I dropped the head and a small piece of plastic off the clear suction head chipped off. I tried to order the hose attachment replacement (you have to order the entire thing) but the price went up from $25 to $50 during COVID with a ridiculous shipping price of $15. I ended up getting a small but lightly Bissell upright carpet cleaner (the pet one during Black Friday a few years ago for $79, I’m a small person and it weighs about 11 lbs if I’m correct?) and it cleans soo well, although it’s for big areas. I’m able to clean all the carpeted areas of the house with it. I still have the portable rug doctor and will get it repaired since it just became more affordable (Rug Doctor dropped the price for the part and adjusted the over inflated shipping costs to a reasonable price). Thanks again for your opinion!!

I can agree with the review and the Bissell Pet SpotClean being the winner. I have the regular Bissell SpotsClean and it's done a great job for pet messes. I have OCD so when I use it I go a bit over board on making sure the area is super clean, but it definitely gets the job done.

Thanks for the excellent reviews! You've influenced my past vacuum purchases. But here's a low cost option for stain clean up. Particularly pet messes. I'm a pet fosterer... I know messes. I use a 2 gallon wet dry vac for better suction (using the wet option) and a squeeze bottle filled with cleaner. Best thing I've found is oxygen cleaner and hot water, especially for urine stains. With good suction, not much scrubbing is needed. Just lightly saturate, then quickly suction. Repeat as needed. Suction well. Hope this is useful.

I had a Bissell spotclean and longevity wasn't great, nor was repairability. Cable management was very poor too.
I found I had to put a lot of pressure into the scrubbing head which, after about a year, snapped.
Then the hose split at the join for the scrubbing head which I had to fix with duct tape.
Later on, the hose split near where it enters the body of the vacuum so I bought a replacement hose unit but after looking at the work required to change the hose, I just binned it and bought the battery powered Bissell handheld with the powerbrush.
That was an OK product and the brush in the vacuum head helped but I found the motor bogged down and cut out if you applied too much pressure (which was often required for some stains). The battery lasted fine but after about a year, it stopped spraying the cleaner. I also felt that it was missing a feature. Yes, you can turn off the brush and keep the vacuum going but I'd liked to have been able to turn off the vacuum and leave the brush running in order to agitate the stain without the vacuum removing the cleaning fluid.
At the moment, I don't think the perfect design spot cleaner exists as they are made on a budget, so are aiming for cheap and OK instead of excellent but worth the extra money.

I have a question- I have the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro (ugh what a mouthful) upright carpet cleaner which came with a hose and brushhead for spot cleaning/furniture. Not happy with the green machine but better than using a towel and soapy water. Does the job but could be better. For best results I suck up any wetness first with wet messes than follow up with pretreatment and finally cleaning. If any of you have any tips for cleaning the attachment that would be very appreciated cause it gets gross quick even with vacuuming first.

I have a Pro-heat from when it was under the Pet-pro branding. (Seems it got re-named later on.) Only complaint is that the suction could be stronger, but it does do the job for anything wet getting on carpet. And those things do take some effort to get anywhere. Shame is that if you want better you have to spend well above $300 on an automotive hot-water extractor set-up. You'd think somebody could make a unit more comparable to those as a consumer-grade model, but for whatever reason they don't. So this is close as it gets.

  • @suprasport9118

To be honest! Which ever has the most Sunction strength would be the clear winner. The test wasn't real world. They weren't stained, with dirt, pet soiled, fur, urine, ect. I find that when cleaning, is best to 1st Treat the carpet with solution, 2nd Scrub the carpet with a Strong Brush, than extract using the carpet cleaner. So, IMO the one that has most pulling or extracting strength would be the Best. Just the fact, that basic nature of the Carpet cleaning is to Extract. Personally I also recommend using a 1st treating the Capet with a Solution, 2nd Steaming the stained areas, 3rd Brushing and 4rth finally Extracting. It works wonders. Also I've been using Zep Carpet Cleaner from Home Depot and wow! I can't recommend the product enough!! 1 Gallon is like $10 bucks! And it works better than all those High-end solutions in little bottles that cost an arm and a leg! Highly recommended, from Home Depot.

I have used the Bissel Spotbot for 2 years and it is very capable. My biggest complaint is that it's leaky. To switch between the automatic scrubber and hand cleaner you have to unplug the hose... and this drips. Also, the hand cleaner hose leaks too. So, although it has served me well, I would not recommend it. It's gross getting that dirty water on my hands. I wrap a paper towel around my hand and put one on the floor under the hose when I use it. I think I will get the Pet Pro or Pro Heat.
