    The more I learn about these books the more I am in awe of them. They are just incredible and I need to read them again ASAP. When I finish the series I was in shock. It was a pretty insane read for me and what I did was turn around and reread the second half of the third book again!
    For me, this series scratched such a niche itch for myself but I didn't know existed. I studied mathematics in college, taking an additional 30 credits of physics and astronomy. It was a pretty intense program and stretched the limits of my mind. I don't use mathematics or physics in my career so it's this interest that my brain has that I've never gotten to explore beyond school. It holds a special place in my mind, always. This series had so much real mathematics and science background that it almost read as nonfiction. I loved it so so much 🥹 It's in my top two favorite series, Three Body, and Dune

      best modern Si-Fi (3 body problem series), best modern fantasy / super power (Naruto / Shippuden)
      => both of the best Si-Fi & "fantasy / superpower" franchises are from Asia!
      ... both revolutionized their genres..

    • @psyxhstr3105
      @psyxhstr3105 4 місяці тому +1

      @AB-ee5tb he most definitely could and he most def should. Though they are 2 completely different types of series they have ALOT of similarities. Naruto also explores the Scifi, extra dimensional and cosmic scope of its universe. and it's most recent idderation (Boruto) is about what happens when you fw cosmic entities and concepts, voluntarily or not. the Ootsutsuki are the biggest example of this and even more so Naruto in it's essence is based off of Buddist and Shinto mythology which is way more complicated than any concept into 3BP.. Don't sit here and decrepit someone's opinion bc he actually sees a viable similarity between the two.

    This series drives home one terrible truth for me, violence begets violence. The Trisolarans wanted to escape the torture of their home, no matter the cost. Humans wanted to survive, no matter the cost. Ultimately, there were no winners in this war, only a collapse of the 3rd dimension to possibly swing back to the 10th. Insane to imagine, but I loved hearing every moment. Thank you.

      @@andrewmaderer1989 last year I moved in with a friend who let me rent his back room. My drinking got so bad that I was rendered incapacitated. I have no idea how long I lay in that bed, but by the time the house was raided for an unrelated reason I was covered in my own waste as well as many pressure wounds(bed sores) along my backside. Turns out at some point my "friend" shut me away and was freely spending my food stamps and cash benefits as I lay dying. I was severely malnourished and dehydrated, my organs were shutting down and weighed 165 lbs(my healthy weight is 210 lbs. I was within days or hours of death. At the hospital I blatantly refused any treatment because I wanted to die so the medical team went to probate court and had a guardian appointed through Lutheran family services so they could get authorization to force treatment and feeding. That was May 2023. My sores healed, I am actually slightly overweight now, my mind has recovered, I have bladder and bowel control once again and now we are working on getting me mobile again. I no longer despise my guardian, in fact I have a zoom court date on the 27th where the guardian will be telling the judge that I am recovered mentally and should have my autonomy restored and that i no longer need a guardian. So things are looking up. I am glad that the medical team were willing to step in and do what needed to be done for me to get my life back. Remember, you asked

I am somewhat of an audiobook connoisseur and have listened to to almost all of your stuff. You have the voice for it. Maybe theres a play for you to narrate some books (including the one you wrote :), whether it be for your channel or for something like chilling tales for dark nights as an example. Sci Fi / Horror are the 2 most listened to genres so you already fit right in. You also have double the subscribers of alot of very talented narrators on youtube so you know you already have an audience too. I've even seen youtube voice actors get deals with audible and be paid to narrate books for them as well. Just food for thought.

    instead, Liu Cixin shows us what and how real technology advancements would look like, the manipulation of laws of physics, rather than mass accumulation of materials based on current human technologies and obsession with structural scale.
