Hi! I'm Robert, a photographer who started taking long walks to lose weight. I started recording these walks, and they became "walking tours" I wanted to share with others. Stuck in Az but missing Ca home. Your tours are great
At 7:07 the area known as look out point. is a small city park, open to the public. places to set, grass areas to set up your own chairs and a large tree offering shade to the sun shy people (18:36 is a good view of tree). On a clear day one has a view of beauty in many directions, and no sand in the shoes. All day one may watch boats of all types enter or exit the channel. Free curb parking often can be found near by. Great place to read, take photographs or just relax.

I’ve done this walk many times. Going up those stairs from the beach can be tough. But not as bad as Fernleaf hill.😅

Fun fact: At the 3:38 mark the view shows the channel that the opening "Gilligan Island" TV show of the small boat going on the 3 hour tour....... LOL to bad the small boat in this video wasn't going out of part it would have matched that scene. Also you see that cove at the bottom of the hill, some scenes from the tv show were shot there. Because the small hills circles most of the beach area many pirate movies were shot there to avoid the background having city or people to spoil the scene. So many movies were shot there it got known as "pirate cove" In the late 50's to early 60's many of the teenage beach movies were filmed there as once again it was easy for film crews to control the flow of the public interfearing with production.
