Cleaner, less noise (the car engines are so much quieter than in 85 although I loved those noises) and much greener! Thank you so much. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and lived here all of my life, 66 years. I have been to NYC 2 times for several days each and LOVED every minute, even when they towed my car while staying at the Hyatt (52nd street?). Turns out it was not Hyatt parking, my fault. My brother was a block from the WTC on 9/11. Someone pounding on the window was screaming to get out and run so he did. He ran to Battery park and hid behind a tree to avoid the giant dust cloud from the 1st building rushing across the bottom of the island. Even after all of that, I still yearn to go back. Your video shows so many familiar places and so much more that we missed. It is to much to see in less than a week (Maybe a month?). Winter was HELL but still awesome. Spring and fall are picture perfect. Some friends told me once, "You don't want to go there. The people are so rude." Let me tell you, that is NOT true. Having gone to Florida more than once, we thought they were sooo slow... This is why many people don't like New York City. People do not understand that the fast of living in NYC does not allow you to think about what you want. Waiters will walk away. Figure out what you want, then signal them and they will come back. If you are from a big city, like Chicago? The people will seem normal. I guess we seem like hicks to them. Thank you for a well shot. beautiful video. It is addicting! A technical issue on UA-cam's end is causing the video to play for only 15 minutes instead of 3 hours and 40 minutes on most viewing platforms such as mobile phones, tv streamers and even desktops. UA-cam are aware of the issue and have been trying to fix it. Unfortunately, it's taking much longer than I have hoped to resolve the problem. I'm able to view all of the video on my desktop and am using Google Chrome as my web browser. Many other viewers have been able to view the video on their desktops as well. If you have a desktop and cannot view all of the video, try using Chrome. It might work. Hopefully, UA-cam will fix this problem soon. Sorry for the inconvenience and for the current inability to see the majority of the video. Until UA-cam fixes the original video, follow the link below for the full video. It should play on every device: ua-cam.com/video/2tPwFs1CrJY/v-deo.html
As a native New Yorker now living in Miami, I can truly say "Thanks for the visit back home"! Also, I have to thank my friend Graham living "down under" for turning me on to this gem.. I wonder if there is anything similar for the other boroughs? Today, I will show this to a group of patients in a Nursing Facility to give them a trip to The Big Apple.
@@anoncrazynonevilgooddecent7631 because N.Y. is a bounty of everything. Dozens of museums (some free). It is a treat to simply walk down hundreds of streets soaking in the architecture. The thing I probably miss the most though is the topography. The Miami area is so FLAT. I miss hills. Living in NY there was always somewhere to simply "take a drive" for a change of scenery. Here in Miami that's not the case.
Amazing how time has changed so much. I remember New York as this dirty city that stank and was full of dented automobiles. Seems so much more peaceful and very clean now. I know this is 6 years old but it still reflects current social and environmental changes. I was there a few times back in the late 60's and early 70's. I also visited around 1980. I remember how uninviting it used to be. We all lived in Connecticut back then and I was in the second grade and my sister was in the 4th grade. My mom used to takes us all around Manhattan while my dad was at the office. Then we all met up after he left work and we had dinner in Manhattan and took the train back to the suburbs. It was so much fun for my sister and I. I still feel that New York is so much nicer today then it was back in the 70's. I also remember going up to the top floor of the World Trade Center and the Empire State building. So much to see and do in Manhattan. I just turned 60 and I am thinking about buying a motor home and traveling the USA again after I retire. I have another 5 years to make plans.
I must say that you have done an extraordinary piece of art, since the begging to the end you feel like you are living it more than seeing it , every single shot transport you to that place, perfect speed and motion, congrats and keep doing a great pieces of art.

Besser als jede Reisedoku. Real und unverfälscht dargestellt. Danke dafür. Interessant wird es, wenn es diese Art Videos irgendwann für VR-Brillen gibt. Dann denkt man, man wäre direkt vorort. ;-)

There are thousands of stories being shown in this individual video. It is so hard to fathom that each and every one of these people has a different story to tell. Truly fascinating. I hope, one day, I can be lucky enough to live in Manhattan. An absolutely stunning video.

It should play on every device:

Une superbe vidéo! Qualité exceptionnelle 👍📷 Beaucoup de générosité de votre part. Un grand merci de France 🙏
I must say that you have done an extraordinary piece of art, since the begging to the end you feel like you are living it more than seeing it , every single shot transport you to that place, perfect speed and motion, congrats and keep doing a great pieces of art.
