Nova is beautiful. I have a 1971 SS Nova with Skip White 550+ hp 406 sbc backed by a M23T 4-speed, factory 12-bolt with Tru-Trac 3rd member, 4.10 cogs 33-spline axles, 1350 U-joints. Its a street car and taking it to the track next spring. Mine is setup '70s Street Machine style. N50s 15x10 and 15x3.5 alum slots. Bolt-on ladder bars and air shocks. Whatever you decide please keep it a manual trans. That factory trans will explode behind that Rat if you hook LOL. I suggest sell that factory trans while its in good shape. Put that money towards a good aftermarket trans. I went with an Auto Gear M23T. Plenty other options of manual trans choose from.
Yes the old nova with a big block a good friend of mine had a pro street nova with a big block in it with the tubro 400 Trans and a rear end from strange engineering it had a spool in it 5.38 gears had the roll cage in it electric fuel pump and a fuel cell ya the good old days

Always wanted to set a Pontiac up this way . Around 1980 I had a friend that I would ride to school with that had a blue blown nova so fun. Ran into him years later. The car was destroyed as his wife was driving it to work. He said the blower had been removed at the time . Good memories Though. Up and subscribed we will ride along by default.
Love that NOVA, I myself had a 70 SS 396 Man that was fun, had to sell it because of the Army but still have my 66 GTO and 68 RS CAMARO 427 all stock...And yep it came with a 427 from Jay Kinne Chev in MPLS, Mn...

@stevenrodriguez7668 motor made 400 naturally aspirated so with the blower and it really turned up I'd say 600.
