Me and Woody.EXE had a crowd just like this when we both had our coronation in Wales 3 weeks ago now. I was overwhelmed by the affection that we received and I can remember Woody.EXE was feeling a bit stunned that day.
I watched this here in America that day; I was close to the same age as Diana at the time, in my late teens. She was sooo radiantly beautiful as a bride... well, anytime, really. This magnificent wedding was, as we now know, the beginning of a doomed marriage. Charles was already breaking his vows before he even took them at the altar. Poor Diana. With the exception of her two sons, tragedy dogged her all the way to that tunnel in Paris 17 years later. But on this day, it was a perfect, beautiful fairy tale fantasy.
Just reflecting... yes, the Spencer tiara is just beautiful!!! And knowing how things worked out..what must have been going through Charles mind!!?? Knowing the story now...people will always rewatch and reflect.
I only knew about Diana from Mummy and she was only 2 at this time, then 18 for Diana’s death. Mummy is now 44 and now Princess of Wales in memory of Diana. I knew Mummy would become Princess of Wales eventually shortly after meeting Woody.EXE but I honestly didn’t think he’d go this far. I’m so glad he did though
Omg it’s so hard to believe how young she was. Only 19 yrs old! Yet absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, a true fairytale bride. The Queen that the world needed but Charles didn’t deserve her. Oh how I wish she were here 💔 . May she continue to rest in heavenly peace 🕊️
43 years later I watched this again with a totally different feeling. I was then about to get married and was full of love and asked my fiancée to watch it across the Pacific in Hong Kong as a very sweet shared experience when we were preparing our marriage. How sad, I am watching it alone again now while my beloved husband was already transitioned into another unknown realm. One of the many take always was once again Shakespeare was right that appearance is usually at odds with reality. How true as we learned in a short few years that the marriage was a total betrayal of what it appeared to be at the wedding.
On the day I had just turned eleven the week before and I was at a Scout camp in Marlow in Buckinghamshire , in a row of big tents with no telly . I was furious I was missing out as I desperately wanted to see Lady Dis dress. About 4pm we had rowed our gigs up and down the Thames and my Akela said she had seen it on a small telly in the hq scout hall. I immediately gasped and said “What was her dress like? “ she said she hadn’t ironed it which sent me into ADHD psychosis. In 1981 , we weren’t diagnosed back then. But all the lads and leaders knew I was destined to be the notorious homosexual I am today! Watching this video is nirvana to me as I feel I was there. I did go to Diana’s funeral and stood twelve deep at the end of the mall on the corner leading to horseguards. My only regret is never having met the Princess of wales but I feel I know her . But I did see her coffin go past and the boys behind. Sad. Then Fergie and Andy got married on my sixteenth birthday in 1986 where I was glued to the telly in a solicitors office in Brunswick Square in Gloucester where I was working at (first job) getting pissed on champagne , oh and giving a loud critique of Sarah’s gown. I still give my opinion on royal wedding gowns to this day. But my favourite is Diana’s.
Some silly people say that Diana was miserable on this day and that she didn’t want to go through with the wedding. Absolute rubbish. You don’t need to be a professional lip reader to see what Charles says to her when she arrives at the altar; “you look wonderful” and she replies “wonderful for you”.
Wales had a crowd like that when me and Woody.EXE had our coronation on July 20th, 2023 which marked mine and my sister’s, Princess of Wales 21st birthday
I remember being woken up early in the morning to watch this on tv here in the U.S. I was 4 years old at the time, and my mom got me up just to see this. And I can remember how beautiful she looked in her wedding gown and all the people cheering for her and the Prince as well. My grandparents were originally from England and it was a huge deal for them as well to be there to see this happen. Looking back now, Princess Diana was really and truly the people's Princess. I wish I could of have met her, she was so lovely and had a caring heart for everyone she saw and met. I wept so much when she passed away the way she did. She should be here now with her sons and watching her grandchildren grow up, too. She is still very much missed all over the world. 😢.... but this wedding was such an eye opener to me when i was little. And I wanted to be like her and marry a prince, too lol how the thoughts of a small child are lol also I think at this point in time my mom was pregnant with my brother, too. I remember laying down on her belly bump and feeling my brother kick, too while watching this wedding. Funny how you remember things like that as you get older lol

I was living in London then & remember this event. In fact was in the same small shop in South Kensington as lady Diana where she bought a box of chocolates. She was engaged but not married yet. She was beautiful. She would've been a tremendously good & popular Queen. Such a tragedy.
That’s not why the marriage failed though. Camilla was the least of their problems. Horribly mismatched by their families….it should have never happened. The families are to blame. Camilla was just a minor side show.

I'm from Iraq and my mum always tells me and my siblings stories about the day she watched this wedding as a 13 year old.. She says it really was like a global phenomenon 😅 Her neighbour video taped it and more than one family from the neighbouhood gathered to watch.. Everyone was just dazzled by the beauty of it all... 30 years later, I was 15, living in London with my family.. My mum and I went to watch William and Catherine's wedding outside Buckingham Palace and waited hours to see them on the balcony..
I have never experienced such a large occasion but after watching the ceremony I admired every moment for its joy and beauty in every sense of the word May the Lord bless Queen Elizabeth and grant strength and leadership to the current King Charles III.

We can see the Queen was so exited. The whole world was exited. Except for Charles.
👏👏👏
So true
Its just like an hour ago…timeless
I'm sure most of us would go back to those times in a heartbeat too❤
She was a very beautiful woman...and charming 💔
Yes and loved by everyone especially from minorities
👒👒👒 Hats, hats, lots of hats !! 😍😍😍
@@morgainedepolloc4161 I think he must have felt totally trapped.
iiQue boda!! Espetacular.
Wow that was incredible.
It's so sad that she's not here after all these years.
Our beloved beautiful princess Diana 😢💔
The beginning of the end. Lady Diana always in our ❤️
You are beautiful too.
I was 6yrs old and Diana became my first crush.
You were to young to think about plucking the strawberries ❤
So beautiful lady, but not really loved by her closest family members, not her parents, not her husband. Thus God took her back to the heaven!
Her father adored her. What rubbish you wrote.
She was loved by her family and almost everyone in the world. Don't talk rubbish!!
At last there is a full coverage on the internet.
Without any irrational clicks
Omg it’s so hard to believe how young she was. Only 19 yrs old! Yet absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, a true fairytale bride. The Queen that the world needed but Charles didn’t deserve her. Oh how I wish she were here 💔 . May she continue to rest in heavenly peace 🕊️
Engaged at 19, married at 20
charles didn't want her either.
She married the only man in the world who couldn't love her.
Beautiful ❤
43 years later I watched this again with a totally different feeling. I was then about to get married and was full of love and asked my fiancée to watch it across the Pacific in Hong Kong as a very sweet shared experience when we were preparing our marriage. How sad, I am watching it alone again now while my beloved husband was already transitioned into another unknown realm. One of the many take always was once again Shakespeare was right that appearance is usually at odds with reality. How true as we learned in a short few years that the marriage was a total betrayal of what it appeared to be at the wedding.
What a great comment. Thank you so much for sharing.
Even from the start people loves the lady princess diana
This was absolutely beautiful. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Grant
Her splendid and bright appearance
Thanks to God.
Queen Diana 🙌😘❤️💜❤️
The Best Is Yet To Come! 🙌❤️💜❤️🕊️🙏🌎
Watching
this video is nirvana to me as I feel I was there.
I don't recall a crowd like this during the balcony appearance, since we won, the World Cup in 1966.

Beautiful Lady Di
Beautiful and sad at the same time😢
👑👑👑 The " good old days " of the " old school" Monarchy... 😍😍😍
😂😂😂
"Love, affection, trust and happiness." How very wrong the commentator was on everything. The most beautiful bride and the most tragic.
Hello !
I'm Brazilian and I'm in love with royalty. I just watched the royal wedding of Prince Charles and Princess Diana and I loved it 😍😍😍 I'm going to attend the wedding of Princes William and Harry. And then the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
Although Brazil is no longer a monarchy, the Brazilian imperial family still exists. And who knows, maybe one day Brazil will become a monarchy again, and it will be called THE BRAZILIAN EMPIRE again 🥳👑🇧🇷
I'll look on UA-cam to see if there are videos of other European royalty... Kisses to everyone who likes royalty 💋👑🇬🇧
I would think people at that time think this is the future King and Queen wedding. Turns out in the 1990s it is not 😢
Thank You Princess Diana ,Goodbye
I was living in London then & remember this event. In fact was in the same small shop in South Kensington as lady Diana where she bought a box of chocolates. She was engaged but not married yet. She was beautiful. She would've been a tremendously good & popular Queen. Such a tragedy.
Now no prince no Princess.. Everything finished...
Diana legacy always remain people hearts..
Charles & Diana together-Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful !!!
Lovely event. But what a shame to have a bad ending for both...

I was married 3 months before she was. My mom video taped this for me. I still have it. Beautiful but sad given Charles never stopped seeing Camilla
That’s not why the marriage failed though. Camilla was the least of their problems. Horribly mismatched by their families….it should have never happened. The families are to blame. Camilla was just a minor side show.
@@poppyrowland1385I agree with you on. I cannot believe that Princess Diana's family, especially the father and Lady Fermoy encouraged this mismatch.
I can remember Mummy’s wedding to my stepdad very well and they are about to celebrate their 10th anniversary on September 14th. It will be Mummy’s first wedding anniversary as Princess of Wales
He always loved her. True love♥️♥️

wow...what an incredible sermon by the archbishop. it was so spot on
Wow the British Anthem here was exceptionally well prepared, i wonder who was did the touch up & was it ever sung again like that in any Royal event 🎉❤
I can’t believe I’m watching
I’m here because i’ve completed the entire season of the ‘The Crown’.
The most exquisit arrangement of the national anthem
Diana Forever. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I have never experienced such a large occasion but after watching the ceremony I admired every moment for its joy and beauty in every sense of the word May the Lord bless Queen Elizabeth and grant strength and leadership to the current King Charles III.
1:13:09 Charles whispered “wow you did it, well done” or something like that to Diana, that was kind of cute
He actually said “Charles Philipe! Well done” just to correct Lady Diana’s mistake calling him “Philipe Charles”.
Really? Oh that's so sad. All I could hear was "well done," but tearing her down was typical behavior for him, so what you said does seem believable. @@KBuSh_

If Diana was still alive today, I could have met her whilst I was really unwell in hospital in February; I probably would have loved her but at least I can continue her legacy on by going out every day and giving my people the love they deserve as their Queen. I might only be 21 but I still love my people no matter the circumstances
RIP Diana ❤
