Well that was GROSS 🤮! Would you let your kids trash your car like that?? Have a great weekend and don’t forget to check out the Awards video! And stay tuned for an EPIC detail next week!!
Hello, I'm a newer viewer and I was wondering what Extractor Vacuum Nozzle you use? I've noticed that it looks different than the one that come standard on the Bissell pro.
My parents had a rule that my brother and I weren't allowed to eat in the family vehicle. However, that rule only lasted for a couple years. When it got trashed, you better believe my parents dragged my brother and I out in the hot Texas sun to clean it out. As much as I hated doing that back then, it taught me to clean up after myself. Now 20 years later, I do keep a relatively clean vehicle. Great transformation as always Mitch!
If I trashed a car like this back in the day, my parents would have whooped my Butt. No excuse for parents to let this behavior slide. I'm 57 btw. Great clean up.
I am 31 and my parents would also have given me an ass whoopin and I learned very fast not to throw trash on the floor anywhere, trash always goes into a bin or bag
A whooping isn’t necessarily the choice but I get the point. There’s always something else to teach this generation the proper way to dispose of our wrapper and things. Good job and great work on the transformation
14:37 I've missed your "Gross!!! 🤮" expression on your last videos. You got me motivated to detail my ol' 1992 Ford Tempo (would be awesome if you get the chance to detail one of these old Fords in the future).
I know you recently just built the new studio/shop, did you include a place to wash and dry all those nasty towels?? I love watching your videos, seeing some incredible awesome vehicles including "Bobby" that was so incredible to watch...Good luck on the transformations in the Yard Geek Channel!!!
Mitch! another year as my favourite UA-camr and another great video! next sounds good and wishing you the very best for the New Year ahead! Thanks Bud!
The underside of my son's booster seat gets messy (lots of crumbs), but the longest we've gone without cleaning it in my car (once I discovered the mess) is 3 weeks, and that was just recently before the holiday break. (We just got too busy, but that week between Xmas and New Year, I cleaned out the trash and vacuumed out the crumbs.) A little bit of work now and then saves a ton of work in the long run. Oh, and my kids don't get super sticky gross stuff in the car (slushies are rare, and bodily harm is threatened if spilled).
I hope Mom or Dad show the kids this video, even if by now they are grown up. It came out really nice. The sheen on the dash and controls have sailed away though. Well Done bringing interior beauty back to this car -one could place one's bottom on the seats without being grossed out. I was quite surprised that you put your socked feet inside the car while cleaning. I would have left the waterproof sneakers on.
There is just no good reason for a car to look this bad. These people obviously have no respect for themselves or their belongings. You do amazing work, sir!!
I love my kids and I'm pretty lax... however if my kids did this to a car, or a restaurant or anywhere else I'd literally cook and eat them. You treat your environment with respect.
all the 08's around here have rotted in half!.....i would know, i sold mine 1.5 years ago and the rockers were gone. rear frame rails were getting thin and holes were starting in the strut towers.
I have to wonder about the mental health of some people who use their vehicles as mobile trash cans. Some napkins, a few wrappers or whatever…fine. Food that’s grown mold or old clothes…gross.
the detailers are right DIY detail actually does use prewash solutions like iron remover, bug/tar remover, etc. but not all vehicles need it you will see him use iron remover on white vehicles for example
@@michaelm3381Not necessarily, people can easily be both messy and lazy too. But it's depending how lazy that parent is. It's also depending on how long this parent left this car, by not cleaning their car. Some parents have no responsibility to clean up a mess, especially when it's a car being driven around and seen in public places.
Great video, as usual! Quick question: would it make sense to suck up the steamy mess at 15:18 with the extractor first, to reduce the number of towels required? Also, kids are not allowed food or drinks in the car, occasionally a banana maybe, if I'm in the mood. :) As always, thanks for posting! :)
Growing up I remember stopping by at these cute rest-stops with viewpoints to have a meal with our parents when traveling. Sometimes there were benches and tables, other times you manage. So I'll never understand this. And we were poor and had food from home in an old beach refrigerator. Like...No one's starving to the point where they have to absolutely trash the car with food and drinks. 😅
And not to mention rest stops are becoming few and far between in most states because of gas stations / truck stops like buccees. They recently took out a rest stop near my exit on the interstate since I was not being utilized.
I had snacks in the kitchen, and the kids were good about staying there. The car was for hauling groceries. The Impala looks a lot better than it did. I had the same year in silver with a spoiler.
I love you’re detailing videos! Been watching for a good few years now. One thing I’ve always wanted to see in your videos (particularly with this cars paint work condition) is a full polish detail where you get rid of all the swirl marks completely. It would make the car next level 😁
Great transformation Mitch! You did an amazing job in detailing the interior despite the state of the pocket (on the passenger side back) for the back seat. Looks like someone ripped it from the back of the passenger front seat 💺
yeah he really douses those carpets and chairs so I think all of these details end up with mold and that's why we never see vehicles he's detailed ever again
We dont eat in our vehicles. My 10 year old son knows that, and also, my son helps clean the vehicles on the weekend. That helps with kids wanting to keep it clean, because they know the work that goes into cleaning it. Same goes with the house.
Just who are these people? If they trash their cars like this, how would they keep their houses? Their front yard? Their kids? Their minds? What you are doing is not just cleaning cars; this is social service. And you do a phenomenal job, car after car! Great work Mitch.
Yes, the 4K makes a difference in the viewing experience. It allows me to see that the difference you make in the appearance of these vehicles is startling. Watching the extractor pull that dark brown water is scary and pleasing at the same time. The seats turned out much better than hoped after seeing some of those set in stains. I have watched the season 4 Detail Geek awards a couple of times, it always makes me laugh. Mike is so lovable and goofy. Sounds like next week's video will be fun. Will you be posting some teasers? Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! You sure earned it with the videos you have been putting out. New Yard Geek coming soon? I am loving that new channel. Have a great weekend Mitch!!💜 #MikeIsMyFavorite, #Mike4Mayor.

Yep, next week’s video is pretty crazy! Definitely never seen anything like it before! The YG vids are hard to produce as fast as I’d like ☹️ but I’ll eventually get them done for you guys!! Have a great weekend Joel!
10:54 - After the First Hit with the brush and the Red stains won't come off, I thought: "Uh... There bleed Out a permamarker! That didn't Go Out." 😮 But then, you Hit them the 2nd time with the brush: the big Red dots have No Chance. Nice! 👍

You've heard the expression, " You can polish a turd, it's still a turd ". Well, Mitch can take a turd & turn it into a diamond. Awesome job, as usual.
This one looks like the majority of the vehicles before and after shots i did last year. Hard to make a completely trashed vehicle look new. But we try.
I resorted to putting blankets over my back seats because i cant find seat covers and the rew rimes i let anyone even adults eat in my car they got food under my blankets and under my 2 lecel thick floor mats i hardly have anyone in my car lol
Both the steamer and the Mytee earned their keep on this one. Starting off 2024 with a winner! That thing desperately needed some paint correction, but I suppose it would be a waste of time if the owner just going to continue letting it go.
it is possible to have kids and have a clean car it's called being a good parent that practices rules and boundaries to discipline children if you can't be a good parent, do not have kids
Well that was GROSS 🤮! Would you let your kids trash your car like that??
Have a great weekend and don’t forget to check out the Awards video! And stay tuned for an EPIC detail next week!!
I'm not allowed to eat in my dad's car. I also detail my dad's car
I use your products to detail my dad's car, your products work very well!
😮😮😮😮 No way
Would have gone carpets out myself on that one.
Hello,
I'm a newer viewer and I was wondering what Extractor Vacuum Nozzle you use? I've noticed that it looks different than the one that come standard on the Bissell pro.
I couldn’t have said it better myself, for a tired old beater you certainly made it as clean as possible. Another awesome video, yeah 4k looks good!

Great to have you back in 2024 bro, your videos are always the gateway to my weekend
My kids aren't allowed to eat or drink in my car.
Did my Mom too and i would too if i ever have some.
I don't eat in my truck. Imagine my surprise to find pretzel sticks under the seat after it was serviced. It was a new guy at the shop.
I'm not allowed to eat in the car 🤣
🙄
Neither am I lmao, anything except water is a no go
Happy new year detail geek

they just arent in the video

Definitely would love to see you work on more Barn Finds/abandoned/Vintage style cars if and when possible of course.

@@Robbie-mw5uu How can that be possible?

What carpetr extracter you using? MYTEE?
Yes
I’ve got a Highlander that needs a good detail but it would get dirty driving there and back from Montana,I love the videos keep it coming
I've seen it all now. I can't believe you got that looking something like normal. Miracle worker😊
Hey Mitch, I just can't congratulate you enough on the awesome job you do on all the cars you detail. Thanks much! 💪💣🙃🤗❤️🔥

There is just no good reason for a car to look this bad. These people obviously have no respect for themselves or their belongings. You do amazing work, sir!!
What an amazing job. You should have given this job to your alter ego Mike. Can't believe that someone would let their car get so filthy. AWESOME JOB.
Amazing Transformation of Car , pls show engine bay also in video

I can’t help but wonder if some people get insulted by some of the things you say about their cars. Keep up the great works
What a wonderful way to start the new year! Happy New Year 2024, Mitch!
Wat a nice transformation. I also clean cars. and you can always work more ours on a car but I think in 11 ours, you did an amazing job 💪

I kinda wish we got a coin counter for how much money in loose change or even bills is found during cleaning.
Should get Mike to clean out the cars and can keep all the coins found. Less work for you and he can buy his own Timbits.
Every car that comes away Matt from your shop looks great and so clean
Hey Mitch,
The Impala got new life!!!
As Always Amazing!!!❤❤❤
Glad we can’t smell what these vehicles smell like. Great job as always!
Yes! Amazing how much less gross it is since we can’t smell it haha
Aces again Mitch, I like when you work on lower end cars like this one. And that Mike, man he is one for the books!~!! :)
I go through phases where I binge your videos. Still love the little “gross” when water dumping. 😊
I have to wonder about the mental health of some people who use their vehicles as mobile trash cans. Some napkins, a few wrappers or whatever…fine. Food that’s grown mold or old clothes…gross.
NO, and my old man would've punted me to the moon if I messed it up even an 1/8 as bad as this.
I have exam on Monday but I'm here watching 😂
What a good way to start 2024 thanks Mitch!
I gota say you have some really cool music in your clips... wow what a great job!!
If car detailing was in the Olympics Mitch you'd win the Gold medal everytime lol

Why do you never use a prewash solution? In the U.K., all the detainers say you should use a prewash. Who is right and who is wrong and why?
the detailers are right
DIY detail actually does use prewash solutions like iron remover, bug/tar remover, etc. but not all vehicles need it
you will see him use iron remover on white vehicles for example
What song is that at 3:22 ?
Your work ethic is amazing.

How do you clean your towels
Zooweemama that's a clean chevy impala!

Absolutely disgusting to think that that’s ok. Kids learn from their parents. That tells you a lot about these people.

My family did this too … when there’s not a lot of (or any) money, people have a tendency to take better care of things. Just my opinion.
