I wanted to give a explainer of what I feed and how I feed my dogs. We do have a Raw Diet Masterclass that will go into detail explaining how to feed your dog at any age a raw diet and how to transition your adult dog or puppy to a raw diet linked below. When feeding your dog a raw diet a few things are important to consider. Variety can go a long way for their overall health. Organ meats are a must as they are filled with vital micro nutrients. Liver being one of those organ meats should be fed daily. Taking proper precautions so you yourself do not get sick from handling raw meat.

Hi Dude, Do you cook the meat or feed it raw to your dogs. I read it's much better frozen, as it still has all the neutrirments/norishment, hence when you cook the meat it loses all the good stuff. Do you feed them by hand, Can you put your hand in the dogs bowl whilst your dogs are eating ? Keep up the Good work brother, Peace.
@@MrAns786 hi, thought I'd answer. Cooking kills off or demishes nutrients. Raw means no cooking at all. All the nutrients are destroyed since it's fed raw. It's the only way to feed
That's cheap I pay more for my dogs with raw because off shipping rates otherwise 500 is nothing feeding them right
I' means to say, cooking will kill off or demishes nutrients
@@MrAns786 hi AM what I meant to say was, cooking destroys the nutrients. Raw is best fed raw
Hi Jason.. You gave us the price of all the meat you guys bought for your boys but I’m interested in how long will all that last. Is that one month worth of food for them or less?
Well I have my American bully because sadly I had to give my 4 year old cane corso heart breaking, what I feed my bully is ground beef, carrots, eggs, green beans, we swith that up every so often, heart and liver are great organs, and even if you buy cheap stuff it's so much better than the top kibble
Ohh and that's Prolly 2 weeks to a month of food, I think
Those are big boys and Justice still growing. Their eating 3-4 pounds a day, each! So that meat will last 2-3 weeks maybe 4 if your adding other food. Love the raw diet. Raw is expensive but the best for your Cane Corso’s! Or any Canines for that matter
@@richlevi8681 yep, as a pre kibble feeder it is atrocious, dog cereal and o don't think I could feed that to my puppy
I absolutely LOVE watching your videos!❤️ And whenever I see others on UA-cam show caring Carne Corso, I always refer them to your channel because I’m really impressed with how you give out SO much great information on training and socializing your boys.🐶🐾 Bruce Wayne is Awesome and to see him sitting in Kara’s lap was hilarious!🤣 Bruce is a huge boy but always “Momma’s baby!” And Justice, he’s just the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen!🥰 Jason you have such a beautiful family! You’re truly blessed!🐶🐾🪴🤩😄
Your dogs are so lucky to have you!respect
I'm impressed with the control you have over Bruce's prey drive. He's a beautiful doggo.
I just love how chill the boys approach their food.. Kara put down Bruce's plate and gave him the OK and he wasnt agro about it or rushing to eat, he just took his time, sniffed around and started with some organ meat.. ❤
I get your creativity side , but personally this is also very refreshing ( all natural )
Enjoyed this as always!
I seriously look forward to your daily uploads 🖤🖤
A few days ago UA-cam recommends your channel, don’t know why. Started looking at the play list, watched some of new puppy, now I’m hooked. Always liked large size dogs after owning a huge rottweiler, named little bear, believe me he wasn’t little. Jumped around to other vids and laughed at Bruce stopping right at the ring of the candle playing with Kara, just like a boxing match, keep up the great work, now time to get back to this vid.
I fed my Rhodesian Ridgeback Jake green tripe in two pound chubs just as it comes and he loved it. Keep making the raw vids of Justice interacting with the Family, as it will not be long before it gets hard to tell them apart.
Hi Cory Clan 😃 I try to keep up with all your posts about your boys. They are amazing and they thrive under yours and Cara's leadership.
You mentioned in a post about cooking liver for yourself. I hate the stuff but if you freeze it, then slice it as thin as possible, throw it into a hot pan (with onions) to sear it, if you add a little water the liver will poach and stay tender inside while crispy outside 🙂
Good luck with the liver and thank you for sharing you home and family with us all x
We love watching your daily videos. I find it so interesting how similar your boys are to my girl Remi. She is a super picky eater and a straight up carnivore! The only time she will even touch a fruit or veg is when she is "helping" me in the garden but she only macerates or shreds whatever fruit/veg she's gets and leaves it in the yard, never eats it. We have about 20 different fruit trees on our property and she will pick any low hanging fruit, she use to just chomp on them a bit and leave them in the yard but we have her trained now to put them in the basket on the porch 😂 she's my garden buddy.
Thanks for all you and Kara's hard work and sharing your puppy world with us. We watch your videos first thing every morning... even the cat!! 😂❤
Neither of my newfies will touch veggies or fruit! I know this is debatable but it varies on who you read. I only feed lots of raw meaty bones and organs. After I read give your dog a bone and work wonders I relaxed big time!
Your sounds very fun loving xoxo
The great thing about the way yours chomps up the fruit and veg is they will still be getting some of the nutrients from it, whether it's juices or just random bits they end up swallowing
I mince up half of the portions I make up and add veg to that as they will eat it when it's ground into the meat but not as a whole 😆 trickery ahaha
Might have missed this, how long would this meat last Bruce? Love the videos!
I have a 4yo Old English Mastiff x Bullmastiff rescue at 185lbs. He's a lean and pretty fit example of what these dogs should be. Prior to him I'd only had Dobermanns throughout my life. I'm fortunate that I live close to a 4th generation family pet supply store, and he too suggested I try a raw only diet - but I buy 400g frozen blocks of white fish, chicken, tripe, lamb, beef and rabbit. I supplement with some liver and kidney from our supermarket plus some organic fruit. He is a well loved and very happy dog, and I think the diet has a large part to play in that. I have always felt that if you truly don't know something, take advice and try an option from someone with specialist knowledge. I spend a little more on food than most, but he is more small donkey size than dog....
Another awesome video of Biggs and littles, Love seeing your daily routine and process ❤️
Thanks for all the hard work you do on the videos. I think they are great and very informative.
Appreciate you watching 🙏🙏
Loved the video
Love you guys
So enjoying all your videos
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another great educational video! Love watching yous! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
17:23 Bruce loves her too is so amazing
Can't say enough about the slow mo videos in the snow!!
I've been wondering where Kara got her sweatshirts from. Now I know it's Buff Bunny. I just subscribed to her channel. I can't wait to see what she's doing over there.
Loved your vid! 😊Awesome leader Jason. And Kara that was so funny and cute Bruce sitting on your lap.
Love the raw videos stay blessed much love from devon in England
Thanks Devon 💪
That puppy is everything! both are amazing. 😍🙌🙌😍
Love this video guys keep it up
I LOVE COOKED LIVER!!! I sauté sliced vedalia or sweet onions in an eight inch of water in a frying pan. When the onions are slightly browning or softening lay your liver fillets on top of your onions. Flip them over after two minutes. Cook to taste...
Raw food, raw footage, seems like a killer combo
I love how Bruce prances around when he plays, such a well behaved dog and so well trained.
I just found you 😂good info. I enjoy your vlog feels like I’m in the room with you both ❤
I feed my dog (Boxer) all organic meat. Grass-fed beef and livers and semi cooked ground turkey, veggies and mixed with dehydrated mixed into ground turkey. Oh and I add vitamins and supplements. Several thousands of dollars later, I had no choice she was sick for years until I figured out it was the processed food. I make it bulk for 2 - 2.5 weeks. Freeze in containers, then defrost. Works great no more vet bills. Vet was shocked and asked for my recipes. Most kibble is cooked at high temps, not good and way too processed. Thank you for your videos, always learning. We love your dogs!
Kibble cooks the "food" with high temperatures, which creates glycation a carcinogen. Not good.
I try and make myself liver every now and again for my autoimmune disorder and iron deficiency etc.
I find must be farm liver, of course.
Sautee with onion, garlic a little thyme (or no thyme and use whatever herbs you like). Carmelize the onion and garlic nicely and as for oil, coconut oil can work, I use avocado oil because I am sensitive to oils too and its high in omegas. I like to add a splash of red wine for flavour too.
I puree it in a blender and make into a pate spread! Add a touch of sweet by adding a few medjool dates too if you can have them. Sometimes I add hard-boiled egg on top like traditional, or add scrambled egg in a lettuce wrap with the Pete spread underneath-but nowadays I just throw the whole mixture into the blender, add a little water if it's too thick, until its nice and smooth. And refrigerate for 3 or 4 days max because I'm picky on freshness.
I add it to my lettuce wraps, since I can't do alot of grains, but you can add to any wraps, on toast, on veggies like cucumber or celery etc. I put a thin layer on leaves of iceburg or Boston lettuce, add fresh chopped tomato (I de-seed and Peel them though).
Basically, the way I have gotten all my friends and roommates to eat liver is by making it into pate and disguising it and they love it! Don't even need to add oil and just use beef broth or water etc just might be a bit less creamy, I'm sure you can add you fat choice to the blender too. I've done it in coconut oil and it's fine as well! I use avocado oil, as I said, nice mind taste and super good for you 🤷♀️
thanks jay
Love from Croatia🇭🇷❤💙💙💙🐶🐶beautiful dogs and your family
Bruces obidience is brilliant 😀
Love si downs videos with all fam !!!
Thanks for showing us what you feed the babies.
I feel guilty about how I feed my dog. I had a boxer and I was teenager so I didn’t know how to feed dog etc. He passed away 10 years ago and I wish I could know more about raw diet. Thank you Jason for all these informative videos. I know better now and I think I am more ready for another dog. Love from Turkey ❤️
I understand! My Dane had awful skin, bad teeth etc I just didn’t know. As we learn we do better, absolutely!
Don't feel bad guys, it's drummed into us with marketing and the pet food trade that they should eat dog food and that's it, I only really learned when I hard core studied nutrition when in college, otherwise I would probably still be feeding my cats and dogs kibble
It's not your fault, but now you are aware I'm sure you won't go back :)
Not only am I nervous about feeding my dogs raw…the cost of keeping my 5 dogs on just a raw diets is not realistic for me…I do cook them fresh human grade food for them. But I also give them half kibbles with the fresh food…
Love the content! I had to subscribe because I kid you not my American bully just laid here and watched the entire video with me on my phone! He especially liked the flirt pole action, that’s his favorite toy 💜
im from the uk im in love with these dogs there so friendly i love how you have trained them there almost like humans the way they act
Obedience - well done 💪👍
That was a very informative video you guys are awesome!! It's great to see how you guys love and take care of your dogs. Those are some beautiful dogs. People don't realize for thousands of years dogs have been eating raw meat so that's the best thing for them.
I also don't care for liver too much but when I make it I drench it in flour and I pan fry it in olive oil. You have to make sure it's not overcooked it gets like shoe leather, I cook it for a few minutes on each side and I make a whole lot of sautéed onions. The best part is at the end I drench it in fresh lemon juice I use a whole lemon or 2 but I'm a lemon lover so I wouldn't recommend that for everyone . 😂
Hi Jimmy, dogs came from the wolf so the oldest wolves were call dire wolf. They were much larger and much more powerful than any of today's wolves. So starting from those times, and even today's dogs, whom came from the wolves raw is the only way. Wild dogs and even some feral dogs eat raw. Can you imagine if they ate kibble back then? I don't think we would have dogs today.
@@elenadejesus7489 but aren’t top end commercial dog food such as Hills, Fromm’s, I am’s, good for the dog? I
Thanks brother
I loved the video especially seeing Bruce Wayne and Justice cuddling with you and Kara : )
Appreciate the feedback. Helps a lot when you guys say what you like 🙏
@@jasoncorey thank you so much : )
3: I mix green tripe into our dogs' regular meal, which allows me to feed green tripe more often. And it's ideal for my Corso Marsellus Wallus. He gets soft stool after a full meal of green tripe. What I love about this method is that it stretches out the raw I mix together for our dogs, extending the amount of food from 3 days to 5 days.
Also Green tripe NEEDS to be handled with GLOVES! IT IS VERY SMELLY! Again It is a great stool softener. You can use it as a topper to your Corso's meaty dishes.
First time watching, Bruce is so well behaved, such a good boy, and the the fur baby is adorable. You have two of the most beautiful dogs who you obviously adore and who are looked after better than I look after myself. Well done you two, that's exactly why you get pet's to love and look after them as much as you can, if you don't want to do that in my opinion don't get them. 🥰🐾🇬🇧
They r not pets, they’re family
Hi Jason great video, we pick up our puppy cane corso early November this year😍 so nice to have a dog back in home but could you advise on the amount of exercise he should have in the early years please, I want to get him well socialised with dogs and people but don't want to damage his joints.
Thanks
He so smart.
Not sure whether u can clean tripe the same as pig stomach. I’m chinese, so pig stomach soup is something i’m quite fond of. To wash off the grime, we use flour - it works great since the slime will attach to it then just rinse off, can repeat few times. Any type of flour, i just use whatever i have on handy or is cheap.
Hey Jason, have you looked in to feeding from my pet carnivore?
Especially the ground beef tripe super mix
Great content how many times a day do you feed them? And how do I get mine to slow down on his eating? Thank you
Would you ever bring them to the gym if you were doing jiujitsu? I feel like that would confuse/worry them. This was an awesome video! Thank you
Bruce and Justice are the luckiest doggos ever😍🐶🐶
Hi. I remember you talking about fish oils before but I don't remember the video. What kind do you use?
WE have a farm raising pheasant, quail, chicken, turkey, emu, rabbits sheep, pigs, cows and goats for our and our dogs food... We raise, process and butcher on property. it's the best life..! Bravo on your feeding!.. Love your vids... Binge watching since I found your site.
jason how do you feel about freeze dry dog food?
Green tripe just rinse with water really well
I am so impressed how smart and well behaved Bruce Wayne. He is a great dog..
This breed is very intelligent. My favorite part of them is their brain. They are so human like.
@@jasoncorey Yes, Bruce reminds me of the German Shepard I grew up with. He was my bestfriend for 17 years. He taught himself to do basic commends. He was extremely intelligent, too smart at times. He was very in tune with me, also very protective of my mom and me. I still miss him after all these years and after all the other dogs I have had. We are going to get a corso by the end of this year. Thank you I love your videos.
What beautiful intelligent creatures.
You can get premades that have all the attributes of your farmer raw. They are just pricey. Check out Susan Thixton's 2022 list. The actual list tells you whether it's organic, human grade ingredients, human grade manufacturing, etc...
Chicken livers in a peri peri (hot sauce) is really good. You might be able to do that with beef or even sheep liver. I do like mine with mushrooms in a cream sauce. but then I'm okay with fats.
@Jason Corey, have you tried to cook Liver with air fryer? Liver with Onion or some veggies with air fryer should be perfect, imho.
I don’t clean green tripe, there are healthy bacterien in, helps your dog his digestive system, but i’ve always bought green tripe ready for dog’s, so i’m not shure iff it comes directly from the butcher. I do know that it’s super healthy and especialy for dog’s that have gut problems(like mine). In belgium we call it ”vuile pens” that translate to ”dirthy pens” so my guess is not to clean it or just rinse it with water
How do you fill about a large portion of their diet consist of raw venison including the organs , meat, and bone... Thank you for any feedback i know u are extremely busy and thank you for the channel i have a bull mass and he is the best bc of your tips and techs you have taught me. Thank you Jason
Hello, I am new to your page, and I love your dogs. I also have a cane corso which is a female. She is two years old, but she is a lot smaller than her parents. I am very worried about her diet. I’ve tried a raw diet, but it gave her serious diarrhea. I now feed her kibble, but I don’t think that it is enough for her. She weighs about 100 pounds. Can you give any suggestions?
I have fed my dog green tripe with my raw diet. Green tripe is a meat so I use it in my 80/10/10 ratio. Raw green tripe contains live and active enzymes and bacteria to boost your dog's digestion.
wow 241k to 244k thats quick gaining subscribers
Hi Jason. You don't clean the green tripe. Green tripe hasn't been processed. Dogs absolutely love the smell and love tripe. It is rich in nutrients when raw.
Do you thaw the meat out and then put the remaining meat back in the freezer or in the fridge? Or do you meal prep (based on proportions) as soon as you get the meat from the butcher and store in the freezer until you’re ready to take one of the proportions?
Just curious, have you ever looked into feeding from a raised food bowl? If you have, is there a reason why you haven’t chosen to feed from one? Just curious as it’s supposed to be better for their joints and all my dogs eat from raised bowls :-) thanks from the uk 🇬🇧
There’s a lot of misinformation online but it’s actually better to feed them from the ground. It’s more natural, better for their muscles, and lowers the risk of bloat. Raised feeders increase the amount of air dogs swallow since they eat with their necks in an unnatural position.
How many commands in total do you have? I remember: stay, lets go, leave, drop, sit, heel… is something I forgot?
Thank you for GREAT videos!🙏🏻🔥
Down
Totally unrelated but would love to hear about you and kara's love story! (if you are comfortable with sharing that ofcourse)
Always used to cook the tripe in gravy for the dogs. Not sure if you can eat green tripe raw Jason. Great video once again. GG’s from England UK.
Green tripe should be fed raw. Cooking will cook out much of the nutrients. They absolutely love green tripe. For us humans, the tripe stinks awful but for them, wow! They love green tripe
@@elenadejesus7489 not in the UK as we had to cook it for our dogs or they would not eat it. I buy frozen pre-prepared now which you just defrost and serve.
Glad you are feeding pre prepared raw. Better than anything else. God bless
How do you guys maintain your wood floors ? I have a mastiff and she scratches up our wood floors. I try to maintain nail length but when they play they still scratch it up trying to to not slip and fall.
@Jason Corey My dog is a American pitbull and my vet was saying to switch from raw diet to kibble because he's a puppy and they wanted to make sure he gets all his nutrition but to be honest I prefer to do raw because my puppy doesn't really even like kibble anymore so do you have any thoughts
So I’ve heard big dogs like this can get bloat if you get them active too soon before or after feeding. How long did you wait before doing drills with Bruce Wayne? I’m about to get a cane corso puppy and id want to begin training him but im also worried about getting him too active and him getting bloat
How long does the food last ?? Is that a month , more , less ? Thanks
How did you work with Bruce on leave it.
Good to know that dogs will fast themselves for time to time. Had no idea this was normal.
Damn those B-rolls are fucking lit!
how old was JJ when you fed him rib bones ?
I have a 4 month old Cane Corso I was wondering if its safe
That Shirt 👕 is 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks. I have a large boxador about 100 pound. He loves 🐔 if I boil them.
It’s not the fact that vets aren’t educated about raw diet or nutrition is the fact that most clients do not feed it correctly despite recommendations about how to go about it. Also resources for raw diets are tough. The owners have a chance of getting salmonella not the dog. But if you’re doing it like Jason is this would be correct as well as good husbandry to keep things clean. Good work 👍
Where do you get the food from?
So how long does that food last you is that their food for one month?? Because while I know a lot of people would think it’s expensive but that’s a good ass deal
Do u feed any kibble at all ... A mix or just raw
I want to start my Corso on a raw diet what should I start him off with is he going to have the runs for a little while after giving him raw for the first time
I live in California is there anyway I can get the bulk like u I got one to n that’s a good prices
How long do you wait before you take him out to play after he's eaten?
If you did feed Bruce Wayne kibble what brand kibble would it be ?
We had to eat liver growing, the smell of it cooking was the turn off, but my mom sauteed the pieces in butter, sliced onions, sliced mushrooms on med-low heat and covered them to keep it from being dry and chewy. Us kids always added a lot of catsup on top. It was good. Don't overcook.
Can we please get Bruce Wayne a muscle shirt when he goes to the gym 👊
Try some supplements: salmon oil, cod liver oil, primrose oil, aloe vera oil, milk thistle, in oil or powder, for the liver. Turmeric is also great for blood pressure, heart and cleaning of the blood vessels. And some fish. They should eat some fish because of the heart. The one(s) rich in Q-10. Raw salmon would be great, but there are some even better ones. Put the bone dust over the food, not on a side. Too much red meat, heavy on the heart, try to give them poultry and fish. Greenery is good also, parsley for example, for the stomach. And every now and then some de-mineralized sodium bicarbonate in the water, to raise their alkaline body level since they eat a lot of meat, which means a lot of acidity. Something against parasites in the meat as well, like coconut oil. And raw eggs with a shell, also contain calcium.
Most handsome pup I’ve ever seen ❤
Hi Sir, please advise on how to import Cane Corso bread to Philippines I really interested to have this in my house thanks in advance Sir/Mam.
I've got a 2 year old GSD and he's running into issues with allergies. I suspect his kibble is the culprit. Really looking into the raw diet for him! Thank you for the video; definitely helps!
How long does all of this typically last you?
Do they ship to nyc i dont have a problem with the price
Who do you buy from?
Idk if I missed it but how long does that food last ?
