Corso and from day one I can leave him by him his self for up to eight hours he's he's really good in the house and he's never got on my furniture and I never broke her from getting out of furniture he just did it on himself so I never had problems training them to stay in the house by himself the only thing he does is lay there and wait for me to come home he's never messed in the house and I'm really surprised at that
I mean how can you have a dog for 15 years and not let them on the furniture ? Like sofas I mean I couldn’t dream of being that type of person as to be only aloud on the floor for 15-16 years can you really say you love your dog
We were lucky enough to take almost 1 month between me and my partner when we got our corso. We were able to watch her, correct her if she got into things, and she never destroyed anything. She learned gradually to stay alone and never showed any sign of separation anxiety. We had time to socialize her to the maximum. She's now 10 months old and she's a pleasure to live with.

Same. I’m watching this video while my husky is laying at the end of the bed chewing his foot. Just thinking to myself how difficult it was to raise his mental ass. I didn’t any research before I got him. My supervisor at work had a litter and was selling them for 250. I wanted one and that was it. Long story short, every other time he’s ran away I’ve contemplated going to look for him 😂.
Yup makes a huge deal. And now I'm annoyed! I had some footage of my wife coming home and how she acted around him just getting in. Because BRUCE IS PUMPED AF when one of us is gone and comes home. Essentially she totally ignored him and didn't even look his way. Typically when we do that he will go lay down and patiently wait for love and attention.
I appreciate everything you say because it comes from the heart. It comes from love. You aren’t concerned about look what I have (a big dog) and he’s mean. You are kind and loving. I’ve learned tons from you. My yorkie is so spoiled so I’ve learned a lot from you. Thank you.
I am so glad for your channel I'm not ready for a Cane Corso and I am doing my research now so when I buy my new home I will be ready thanks for all your advice
I have just started getting familiar with the Cane Corso breed and actually contacting breeders to get an idea of what I could expect to pay for a puppy! Your videos are definitely very informative.
*Soon this channel will have a shit load of subs. So many comments that you wont be able to reply to all, and will eventually resolve to not responding to any to avoid “heartbreaks”. I’m just glad i got a shoutout in one of the vids. Been here since 5k I believe? Thanks a ton for the free info and entertainment Jason!*
The experience that you mentioned about the window sill when leaving him at home brings back flash backs. Even now that I work at home cause of the situation, he requires attention but he does leave me alone in my home office when I have video calls. I have followed you advice in the past and it has been extremely wonderful. I have used stimulation toys and I hardly have to crate him. Keep up the videos. They have been very helpful in raising my 10 month old puppy.
Your videos have helped so much, we had someone leave us their Cane Corso male and female to watch until they found a place to move into and 6 mths later we Still have them and the female had puppies. I have learned a lot about this breed from you and training is very important. Thank you for the information ..
Boy am I glad you're here to make videos about Cane Corso! Not much info about em around and certainly not as detailed and enjoyable as your videos. Thank you for being here!
I did the same thing I found a great neighbor who I had come and feed him and let him out to use the bathroom cause as you know they have to eat while we are at work. He is 14 months and still remembers the two neighbors who came and feed him. When he see’s them tail wagging bunch of kisses.

Real life advice. I so appreciate your clear “dog loving” advice. I want a big family guardian dog. I appreciate the real world day in the life conversation.
Love your videos. Love your Bruce, he is so handsome! Ordered your CORSO sweatshirt and tank top. This breed of dog is awesome! Rescued one that was abused and neglected and fell in love with this dogs personality, big hearted Corso! Unfortunately had to put him down at the age of 11 due to hip dysplasia- he could no longer get up to walk and stopped eating. Broke my heart! I have been talking about your channel. We have a 20 month old Irish Wolfhound, 37" tall ( counter height then a neck and head), 155#. My husband wanted a giant breed when he RETIRED...I say that because we could have never helped him safely grow without hubby being here all day. Like you we have the largest kennel on the market. We took a trip after getting him and my parents actually trained him to the kennel. We were "against" the kennel. Basically that saved our lives. He is so big and gorgeous and wonderful...but at 6 months and 100# full on puppy, you have to have a safe zone and down time. We still use it at night because he isn't quite as disciplined as Bruce. We continue to work on that. We used the best breeders we could find and luckily they interviewed us and allowed us to have a puppy. We are invested in him. Sounds like raising children when you get one of the Cane Corso. Don't get me wrong, you have done a great job with BW and I thank you very much for this video. I am sure that once they are fully trained it will be a life of bliss for you and your Cane Corsos. This is the most beautiful big breed I have ever been introduced to. You and BW are too true to believe. I don't think all are as wonderful as you guys are.
I agree. If you are busy with kids and can’t give a lot of time to a dog on top of everything else you have to do then you may need to rethink getting a dog especially a puppy.
I bought and was given several crates. We attached them together like a maze in a spare room. It was kinda Z shape.... one end was the potty area, the middle area was play and they rest was bedding and toys. Large opened window with light coming in...music or TV going all the time. I was gone for 7 hours, hunny for 11. It worked so well. No carpey tearing, no window chewing or potty issues. Our weimaraner did wine the first week.... neighbor could hear it lol but he stopped and ended up excited to go back in in the am.
Thank you, for LIFE. I hate people who get rid of dogs when they're "no longer cute" or because they didn't train them so they've become a nuisance and they get rid of them. It makes me so sad, they are pack animals and if you get rid of them they are going to feel abandoned 😭
Love Bruce!!! Would love a video on how he became a "free" boy in the house. I have a 1.5 yr old bully mix that is still a little curious about his surroundings! Lol
Considering getting one of these beautiful dogs. Finances need to slightly improve and that seems likely, but this was a really helpful. I'm gonna need to clear things up with my boss to spend more time working from home when it is a puppy and have a system in place to take it to the office. I just need to keep a crate in the office basement when clients are here. Also gonna need puppy day care to help it with other dog socialization.
We left our corso when he was 7 months with a friend for company when my wife an I was working and he ate their stair, he chewed everything. We got the stair fixed and started putting him in a crate. Also we gave him a small log from our wood pile to munch on. The crate lasted three days until he figured out how to escape. But once he did he stopped chewing our things. We stopped using the crate and now he eats only his toys in a basket we got for him.he makes a mess every day with his toys but he only chews on that these days
You mentioned breed sixe. True. But then so are Great Danes--HUGE. I used to know when when I was a kid. Gentlest dogs. Mostly...in MY OWN experience. I used to know a GD at my family's cottage. Knew never to uses it's weight on me. Very good temperament. Hence their nick "Gentle giant". We just need to be aware of their size. That they can knock us over by mistake. Totally unintentionally. It's always about the owner and the home environment 99% of the time. A bad owner can make a Chihuahua more unstable and aggressive than a Doberman or a Cane or a PitBull...etc.
Such a good, good video, Jason - everyone should watch this before puppy-acquisition! Even us lucky home-office workers: You'll not only rise with (or before) the chickens to start your day with your puppy's needs. Instead of your much-desired breakfast with extra strong coffee. Add to that the drag & drain of sleep deprivation caused by night-time potty-trips to the garden. Yep, it's the perfect training ground for building self-discipline!
lol Better still - get Jason a "Robin" costume, and Kara a "Batgirl" - Bruce Wayne is already sporting his "Batman" look - if anything, he needs a custom-Canali, so he can pull off the "Bruce Wayne" alter-ego.
Thank you so much Jason, loved this video, and yes, please tell us how to move from having to crate your dog during the day, to their being able to roam free. We are moving towards getting a dog (not a Cane Corso, gorgeous as Bruce is) and I'm acutely aware of how much I don't know!

You hit the nail on the head about how Kara and I feel. Everyone would see Bruce in her vids and want a Bruce Wayne. And we would always say you can't have a Bruce Wayne without a ton of time, dedication and sacrifice. I should do a video strictly on that topic.
Thank God I was able to be home for my dogs when they were puppies. Now that the last boy just turned a year old I'm able to work part-time so I will see how that goes. Great video as always very knowledgeable so thank you again, Jason, for the tips. Say hello to Kara and the one and only handsome Bruce Wayne. ❤️🤗🐾
I can't stress enough on early training. Relieve stress by discipline and gaining their understanding, give a routine he can rely on and stick to it. Spend as much time as possible with play and exercise. This wonderful dog has an excellent owner. I'd just take the time to know the mechanics of training. I schutzhund train and that requires knowing the mindset of your dog. It creates a bond that can't be described...but only by the dog and handler
This is a very relabel topic, I have seen a lot of info saying there prone to separation anxiety, I think it’s good for the dogs confidence to know he can be left alone without the owner, it’s all in the training to avoid it, crate training is a lifesaver it’s also safer for the dog, getting a dog especially a big dog is like having a baby, they change your life, but it’s for the better.
Hi Jason, My Corso is almost 22 months and I want to eventually let him have free roam of the house when we leave but not sure if I can trust him. Now we put up the baby gates so he is confined to the hallway. His bedroom with his crate is accessible as well as his food and water. I don't want him on the furniture or tearing up paper and stuff

Not making a big deal out of leaving or coming home is a big factor in how a dog reacts.

This wonderful dog has an excellent owner. I'd just take the time to know the mechanics of training. I schutzhund train and that requires knowing the mindset of your dog. It creates a bond that can't be described...but only by the dog and handler
Bruce was like:
Can I leave him for 8 hours whitout me?
Damn... thats one hell of a looker.
Work, no worries because I am retired. So I have all the time required for a Cane Corso. I love the breed brother so majestic, and regal.
Really helpful Jason love your channel and your videos....a crate training video would be great mate!!!! Love from the uk.
Thank you for the awesome content, could we see a live Q&A stream. That would be amazing.
I have been toying with the idea. So it's nice to hear see people would like that.
That would be awesome!!!
He is adorable
Such a loving dog.
Much love for you guys, Bruce just starring at the camera 😂
Awesome energy man! Great video, thanks for tips!
Thank you ♥️
Would love to see a video about the process of getting a puppy to be good in the house
Just got a Cane Corso and loving your channel and your dog 🥰 if Rosy is half as good as Bruce Wayne I'll have a very good dog
It’s good to be excited around dogs as well as firm
Hi Jason, My Corso is almost 22 months and I want to eventually let him have free roam of the house when we leave but not sure if I can trust him. Now we put up the baby gates so he is confined to the hallway. His bedroom with his crate is accessible as well as his food and water. I don't want him on the furniture or tearing up paper and stuff
OMG MONSTER SQUADDDD!!!!
Watched it a million times as a kid
Love your vids bro. If only every dog had that life. I'll pass this link on to friends
He's a beautiful dog, I couldn't leave them by themselves as I'd feel terrible doing that - I'd need to be working remotely from home
He’s so loyal
I loved your video! 😀
