Would the regular stage 2 kit pair well with a Road Active Suspension system in the rear? Going for capability at slower speeds off-road, and solid towing for campers/toys.
Thinking these lift kit for my 2024 f150 tremor. Which one should I go for balance everything? Mostly I want lift front, also I do off road( but not very often let’s say 2-3 times a month) mostly pavement road. I also do towing(4000-6000 lb)
During the clips of the truck before the install, was the rear spring installed or was the truck just leveled? I’m wondering if I can get away with not installing the Eibach rear spring and just do the front coilovers and rear shocks to level the truck out. Still managing to get 315/70/r17’s under.
I put the stage 1 on my 24 tundra. It rode terribly . After about a week I removed my front sway bar and it improved drastically . Still not what I want it to be though. …..but for the price it’s good value
I think what caught my attention was they sell everything individually. I'm considering these for my '24 Tacoma and buying one thing at a time so it doesn't take a big hit on the wallet.
yep that's a good call, we've got the 24 tacoma stuff available, not on the site yet but we're doing aggressive deals this month if you want a quote, text 213-433-3616
if you're only concerned with lift height to clear tires, then stage 1 will be enough. stage 1 and 2 vary in performance, but about the same lift height
@@ShockSurplus I figure it was gonna be bilstein. Now if u guys have to choose between bilstein or KYB for daily on the road and no off-road, which would it be? And would u go for bilstein 4600 > KYB - Gas-A-Adjust or the fisher way around?
not in the same realm as the MRR. CLoser to the IMS, that being IFP monotube shocks. We haven't directly tested the IMS on the 3G Tundra, so we cant give exact experience. On a separate vehicle, similarly weighted, it felt like the Eibach are more consistent, less...sudden'ness - if that makes sense.
you can go even less expensive to level it, this set of 4 shocks, the fronts can level the vehicle on factory springs. www.shocksurplus.com/products/eibach-pro-truck-sport-strut-shocks-set-for-2010-2023-toyota-4runner-4wd-rwd-w-0-2-5-lift
You guys have had the worst customer service. I ordered $4000 with of shocks and both fronts had no nitrogen. I can't even get an answer from your live chat, no call back or anything. I'm assuming Jeff on this video is the Jeff In my chat. Are you ever going to get back to me Jeff?
@@andrewc1036 i haven't seen that email yet, and always willing to help. Considering this only happens with shocks that fall out during shipping and get repackaged without us knowing, it may have been resolved in a shipping claim. If it was like that from Fox, King, or Icon, we'd immediately replace them or charge them with shocks - if that was indeed the issue.
Love the stage 2R on my GMC AT4. Great set for any truck
thanks for the feedback

Definately buying these next summer for my 2020 tundra. Pro truck R is the way to go!❤
love to hear it, wait until you hear the stage 2 review coming soon
thanks for the feedback, what didn't you like about it specifically?

Would you recommend the Eibachs? I’m eyeing them as a daily driver very little off road use for now.
Off road they are good, For daily driver I prefer the factory ride .
Which trim level Tundra do you have?
Sr5 TRD off road

If you get them let me know how they feel. I want them for my 22 ram.

Would the stage 1 kit work for a 99% on road third gen Tundra Platinum just for trying to fit 34/35s or should I really look at the stage 2 model?

@@ShockSurplus got it, and are the stock black UCAs and axles okay for the stage 1 kit?
Do you have any videos on differences small body shocks to big body shocks?
one of our latest videos on the carli suspension compares 2.0, 2.0 reservoirs, 2.5, and 3.0 shocks
@ShockSurplus
What is the most popular brand of aftermarket shocks u guys carry and sold to the customers?
Was it bilstein? Or Fox?
by volume, Bilstein by a long shot. They have shocks for 95% of the cars on the road, so a lot more coverage than many of the other brands we sell.

How do these compare to dobinson ims and mrr for the 3rd gen tundra?

I tow a wakeboat several times a year in summer, because of this should I lean towards the stage 2 over stage 2R?
Also are upgraded UCA needed?
stick with the normal shocks. the reservoirs are a tad softer overall, which isn't necessarily the best for towing
UCA aren't required
I have a 22 4runner sport. I don't do any offroading. I just wanted to level the truck. Not interested in lifting it. Do i get the stage 1 or stage 2?

Never once did you mention an aftermarket rear coil spring but you just slid it in there hoping no one would notice???
