Don't worry about the disclaimer, remember it's recommended not to be in hi. I off road and everything, I do the Hi Low whatever when I get stuck in the sand, the truck is normal in auto when I hit the dunes but I start to operate somethings only when I have hard conditions. Remember you have a v8 6.2 you need to use all features from time to time thu.
When I did my Bilstein 5100's on the front of my AT4 I was seriously thinking of just replacing the upper control arms for a similar reason of the grease fitting. Well that didn't happen, and now I have 85,000 miles on the truck and hoping things don't start going wrong. Since I was a mechanic with my own shop (in the past) I have all the necessary tools to do it in my driveway, age has crept up on me but luckily I have a very capable son in law to assist. Again, great video and very informative content, keep up the great channel.
I installed the Ready Lift 1.75" when I had approx 12K miles. I just had to replace my CV Boot & axles at 60K. I also added the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable. I placed the ring at .5" of lift. It makes tucking 35x11.50 (on 20 x 9 x +2 offest) easy with a few mud flap delete mods.
Nice! I did end up "stacking" lifts. I did the ReadyLift 2" SST and the 5100's set at the top circlip position. The SST kit changes out the rear block from a 2" to 3". I also have bags in the rear. At the minimum 5psi in the bags I sit 1/4" (6.35mm) high in the rear. The only real negative is that RL states that with the kit they don't recommend using Auto. I did use that quite a bit before since during winter months I am always driving from cleared roads to untouched, but it is what it is I guess.
Nice truck looks good . Supercharger definitely makes truck tad more fun to drive . Nothing crazy won’t be fast by any means . If you’re just keeping it in that 5 to 6 psi boost range . I say the most gain you’ll see is towing up steep grades. Supercharger helps out a ton the down low tq from a positive displacement blower is nice . Night and day difference towing up hills way lower rpm range to maintain the same mph . Have a magnuson supercharger on a bone stock truck no issues at all 40,000 miles so far with boost . Stock pully and caned tune from magnuson . Would highly recommend there kits
💯 on your concerns with the auto 4x , it is a nice option imo if used properly. My 01 Silverado has this option and have used it when conditions warranted, no issues. My 21 Sierra has this option as well
Great video. I’m nervous about lifting my AT4 and further unless I go with something like the 3.5 bds but that’s like $6000 bucks installed. I’m considering the 1 inch cognito to replace the crappy factory upper control arms down the road.
any plans for audio upgrades? i swapped out all the speakers in mine and added the Kicker Sierra/Silverado specific loaded enclosure. Sounds great but can certainly get away with something small and not as loud or expensive. Prior to this setup, i had the kicker loaded 10" L7S. it fit perfect under rear driver side seat and sounded fantastic.
As mentioned in a bunch of other screen videos, I am swapping back and forth for continuous testing and updates. Winter testing the AUCAR currently. Working on an update video now
@@Donslife I've seen the other vids, just figured you were still testing out the Z screens since it doesn't seem that long ago that you changed to the wider one. I'm still waiting for when you get a chance to review the Linkswell screen, whenever it comes out and if you aren't sick of tearing the dash apart by then!
@ it is annoying but I do it for the viewers 😂. I did record some info at SEMA and looked at the Linkswell demo first hand. But nobody seemed to watch that video 🤷🏻♂️
@@Donslife I watched, that's how I know about it. And we all appreciate the time and aggravation you spend gently releasing plastic trim tabs over and over and over again!
If you trust the engine to hold it. I had a whipple on my list for end of this year/early next. Then back in March she decided to self destruct, lifter failure, spun rod bearings and locking up. Got a new engine with no additional warranty. Only way I would do the whipple now would be if I had the entire engine rebuilt with permanent DFM delete and that just isn't in the cards financially.
@@jasonkitchen2510 It's so random which 6.2's have issues, seems to be luck of the draw (luck I don't have apparently). Hoping yours continues to hold strong!
I see you went back to the Tesla screen. Did you decide you like that one better? Also I’ve seen them as cheap as 900 bucks on eBay but I’m wondering if you’d still be able to update them through aucar. They’re the exact same unit but I don’t know if they get the same support. Love the channel btw. Truck looks great.
I am still testing the various screens. Ebay screens are not the same (copies or clones) and will not receive support from AUCAR. This is confirmed by AUCAR. Also Z Innovations will only sell their units direct to consumers. From anywhere else is not supported
@Donslife thank you for the info I really appreciate it. Was having a hard time finding the answer. Happy holidays from Texas. Keep up the good work and be careful up there in the Canadian winter!
SKY!!! She's the best shop dog. Thank you for supporting local.
No doubt! Thanks for watching!
Sometimes recognizing your limits makes it more real and honest. It made for a great upload and you supported a local business. Great video content.
Well said! Thanks for watching!
Very nice shop and he made quick work of the lift all by himself.
Do love your truck and what you've done! Not too too much but just enough!
I appreciate that!
Man he made light work of that! Need a shop like this in my area but my wallet would not thank me :)

Being a mechanic you should have known you always replace the upper control arms.

SICK DIESEL 2019-2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 Full Length Grille Bar
You should try this next.

Make sure to get your headlights adjusted afterwards, too. Level kits throw them out of whack
Yep, mention it in the video too 😊
@ you’re a wise man Mr Life
Definitely need new upper control arms. Put a 2 inch level kit on my at4 and ball joints failed at 1400 miles. Yes... 1400...
Your awesome buddy keep up the great videos 👍

I went with the Zone Off Road 1.75 level kit.
How about a new throttle body from Siren Engineering?
Is the beginning of the video old footage or did you put the AuCar screen back in?

I just bought 2025 Sierra AT4. What do you do for rust protection?
Krown undercoating is amazing. Woolwax is good or any other dit lanolin coating. Theres lots of videos on UA-cam on how to apply them.
Whipple and a cam swap is all you’re missing
