I think it was late 50s when I first heard kya saheb.I was a young volunteer on the back stage. Before the program started and while kha saheb was tuning the Tanpura a cord broke. Kha saheb asked for a new one. One fellow not knowing much rushed with a strong wire. Kha saheb being very kind hearted remarked: Do I hang my clothes on this ? Apart from being a great singer he was a nobel hearted person. My salam

Oh my god.. see how easily he sings.. if we only listen this song with out watching we will feel that the singer would have been straining too much for making these great emotion and other harkats ..but in the video khan Saab is singing very easily . No strain at all. Not even his face or his body is moving .. he is indeed great.. as if god came in his body and singing...

I have been listening classical for decades.There is no match of Ustad Bare ghulam ali khan sahib.Then Ustan Amir ali khan ,Ustad Barkat ali khan sahib roshan ara begum were on top. They were people of God.Pure,nothing artificial.If some one wants to know the class of these people he or she has to study classical for decades.
