@nzmedic kids behaviour today is just a reflection of the horrendous parenting skills of the previous generation - it is their fault no the kids for the behaviour. and sitting on your arse watching Basil Brush is no different to sitting on your arse playing a console - infact the console is more social and interactive - so is actually better!!

When I was little one Christmas my parents went all over the place looking for a Basil Brush toy for me because I loved him so much.....this is classic
@nzmedic dont forget to mention the delights of bullying, dog fouling, 3 times as many cars as kids in uk, park play areas covered in glass "no ball games".also a fact that if you live in a grotty area you would not want to walk around it overly protective parents

I remember Basil Brush from the 60's & 70's when the Basil Brush Show was on BBC1 on Saturday tea time when I was little.

It's impossible as Ivan Owen who was Basil, sadly died and the chap who replaced him just wasn't as good. Ivan was a genius comedian
