Well partner if you just put you a longer board on that backboard behind that swarm box then you can put a small screw in there to hold it out hold it and keep it from blowing around looks like you're doing a good job but you need to paint it a different color that bright color they don't like them too much this is old Rob

What's the reason for putting frame in freezer ?

It helps to kill bacteria and also keeps insects and mice from getting into them.

I have found that freezing will not kill all bacteria. I took frames that were in the freezer for a year and put them in a hive and it ended up killing them (I did not realize that they were frames from an infected hive. Fire and soaking in Clorox water are more effective in killing bacteria.
