i need more videos,i dont care if its just watching a bee on a flower with your commentery in the backround, you are by far the one i like most, and for some reason im all connsuming bees now a days xD
Great video. I am new to natural beekeeping but having read your books I have become so enlightened as to the importance of the TBH method over and above the 'Established' and commercial method in order to maintain the general health and numbers of the species. Please do more teaching videos!
Phil i like your videos. Iam living near the highest "mountain" in holland (365meters). Germany, belgium and holland are here the borders. Vaals is my homevillage. I am hobby imker and learning a lot from your videos. Thank you Phil.
Thx for the video. I was planning to build a second tbh for my second year in beekeeping this weekend. And therefore I am currently seeking all information about natural swarm catching or attracting them. Trying to attract them with nucs hanging in trees nearby. Thx for all your informative videos. mucho simpatico
Helpful, thanks. After our first year colony died in the winter we've spread the brood comb between three locations, so really hoping we get a swarm soon so that they at strength before winter.
I may have come across a bumble bee scout group. But there is a hole. And tis the season apprently. And it may be directly above my entry door. I'm not sure if its scouts or a burgeoning hive. There was 8 or so checking it out at once though
Is there a difference between the horizontal hives that have hinged tops and those that don’t? I am looking towards this style to convert my apiary so that I can continue to keep up with things from a wheelchair.
They may yet change their minds, and the weather is really not yet warm enough for bees to confidently swarm. I have seen a forecast that suggestx we will not see mating temperatures until mid June!
When scouting does it all happen with one bee finding a place, and the going back and telling others., every video I've seen they seem to show alot of bees together scouting

I’ve built a top bar hive and made the feeder from your video Phil where would I get black bees for my hive
I suggest Jo Widdicombe or Peter Little.
Please do let us know when the swarm moves in ....
