Wow the music sounds so appropriate, like getting the old girl all fixed up for her last dance. It's kind of sad. Giving her some loving one last time...lol
Another one of my favorites, but The General is still tops for me, with the 37 ratrod coming in a close 2nd. I love how you fabricated those bucket seats out of street signs in your current project though! That thing is coming along quite nicely too.
For wide whites, I have had great success with "Elastomeric roof coating". Comes in white and goes on with a brush. It is thick but will run so you have to take the wheels off and lay them flat. The brand name I used is White Knight Flex Coat and in Canada it is available at home despot. Pricey at $59 a US gallon but it works really well and lasts.
ever thought of putting a strong thin enough string to wrap it on the clip? When you put it back on, hide the sting underneath the window crank thing. That way if you have to take it off again... there's the string to pull the clip out easily.
Sorry to hear the Buick is going away. But I'm sure whatever takes it's place will be just as cool. Always look forward to a new build. Thanks for your time.👍
It sure makes a difference on changing a transmission with a lift and stand, it take a little more effort in my driveway. The white walls look good, when you did it on the road you got to meet someone new. You did really good on that car, it stands out without being over done.
The whitewalls look good. Cheap and cheerful! Got to love the Buick, but I can hardly wait for your "winter build". Yep, wrong window clips, need the silver ones. Thanks again.
When I was in the metal trade, I made a door handle remover with just some 16g flat stainless steel with a "u" shaped slot wide enough to get behind the handle with tappered ends that springs those clips out , as someone says " easy peasy " 😆😆😆😆😆😆
The trans swap was interesting, you could tell you built it to be worked on. Well done 👍 if your gona sell it just paint the white walls and save the stuff you ordered for your new build.
So I didn't see whether or not you fixed the problem that was causing the windows to crack. And I was wondering if you could drill out a hole or grind a small Chanel in the window handle where you could get a dental pick in there to remove the clip? Good to see more of Pablo in the video. Good tip on the difference in the masking tapes.
The Buick is too cool! Bonafide cruiser now after the road trip too. I know this isn’t a music channel but I gotta say I was liking the music durning the trans and tire parts. Usually I’m a guitar guy but the sax was jammin. 👍
Hi Brent if you want to get clips out of winder, go TO KITCHEN GET A FORK TAKE THE TWO MIDDLE PRONGS OUT,THEN SLIDE IN BEHIND WINDER TO PUSH OUT CLIPS.
Not sure if it's in my price range but would be very happy driving that beautiful Buick around the town it was probably built in.(Oshawa) and neighboring towns too.
It's good you mentioned this about the scammers. Because I was contacted. Now I know it was for sure. Just be careful if they contact you. They are good. Ronnie.
I get one side of the rag feed it around the handle and pull it round and round but have to use the edge of the rag so it slides in to the shaft, but anyway you got it, all the best to you and your loved ones
OMG ------ In 1962 I replaced the door glass on my 46 Ford coupe ---- they were $8.00 each. But of course I was making $1.50 an hour. Good old days. They really were.
PABLO said one thing i like more then eating is riding with my owner and boss He knows it / good job on the tires and glass LETS GO !!! OH and he is my best buddy
Well like I was saying your tires look great. I like the paint job on your car as well, I was wandering if you did that, it is very impressive. Maybe just do another paint job on it similar but in different colors, then you would want to keep it. Anyways, not only did the car get washed, but Pablo washed your face as well, or at least half of it. Another great video, take care my friend
I'm new to the channel and glad I subscribed! I'm building a 1950 Plymouth special with my son and this is great content and our style. If you ever come across a front grille for my 1950 please let me know. Great video again!
Great work as always! Oh yea, kudos to the drone pilot, always always on point with the filming! Question: how in the world does a fella have a massive property with probably one hundred cars, but no pressure washer??
They do make a tool for getting the window cranks off. I have from back in the body days. Not hard to replicate. Say 16 gauge steel with a slot the size of the groves in the window crank.
Awesome video as always Brent. Was gonna buy 4 new Coker whitewalls for my '59 Buick Electra 225 but I'll paint the tires instead. Anywho... greetings from California.
Sometime, show us/me what you are using for the fantastic drone pictures. How you can get a drone to track your car moving. My $99 drone get caught in the wind and ends up yards/miles from my transmitter. Good work
@ 31:47 I see a '59 Buick to the left peeking out from behind the jet skis... Any plans for that? I hope so! The two vehicles that I remember the most from my childhood in the 60's & 70's were our '59 Electra 225 and our '59 El Camino.

Love that old Buick, but looking forward to the next build.
Thanks for sharing.
Nothing better than to sit back on a Sunday arvo ...and watch the best show.....
New Zealand 🇳🇿.
I love that car. Chopped, lowered Buick? Perfect.
Of all your great restorations Brent, my favourite is still the double cab International, wonderful machine.👍👍👍
Brent good to see you today. I really love early 50's chevy cars. Love to see a Belair build.
The clean up made the ole Buick sharp. Thank you for sharing!
Painted white walls, as I said when you were on your trip, looks better! Love to be able to own one of your builds! 😎👌
Brent I think it is cool to sell your hot rods. It is a reward on many levels for your labor of passion.

Drill a small hole at the peak of the radius of those clips. You won’t be able to see it but you can get your pick in to pull it out.
Got to love the drain plug on that pan
LOL...I can remember back in the early 60's painting whitewalls on cars!!! Great job.
I absolutely love that old car , I loved the full build of that car , just wish I had it over here in the UK
"As clean as 5 dollars gets me" Priceless. Be well. stay safe.
Beautiful country looks like a good crop this year 👍🇨🇦
that is one kind dog. wish people more like that
I admire that you are always looking for a new build to challenge yourself.

I'm going to try that on 49 Pontiac. They're a bitch to get off too. Thanks lol.
@@rattlekankustoms let me know how that goes.
Awesome idea- I have old cars that use those horseshoe clips too!
I remember plans in popular mechanics where they painted the whitewalls with latex paint. They also recommended thorough cleaning before paint.
Love the tricks you share. You must of had a wonderful teacher. Thanks
For painting whitewalls you can also use an abrasive disk to sand the tire smooth first.
Pablo is one faithful dog, nice.
Sorry to hear the Buick is going away. But I'm sure whatever takes it's place will be just as cool. Always look forward to a new build. Thanks for your time.👍
Love that Buick! The drone video montage at the end so cinematic, just wow.
Always good to rotate through your toys. More fun and new experiences.

I love the music you pick out and I love your dog pablo and the show, thanks for the warning about the hack Wackers and I'll catch ya on the next one.
I can’t believe that subs from your main channel haven’t subbed to this one It’s just as entertaining!! I dig it 😄
4:00 Why does this music reminded me of early Saturday Night Live programs ?
So I didn't see whether or not you fixed the problem that was causing the windows to crack. Your Buick is so cool! I can't believe you would really part with it!
White walls came out nice Brent! Just the right width.
Loved the Dog lick air conditioning!
It's good you mentioned this about the scammers. Because I was contacted. Now I know it was for sure. Just be careful if they contact you. They are good. Ronnie.
I really hope your winter build is going to be the GMC roadster!! I LOVE that build so far.
Buildanother car over the winter,,, MOPAR MADDNESSSSSSS
Great video, love your drone footage and the face wash by Pablo was epic.

Brent that's one sweet ride.what would you ask for it.if you sell it.cant wait to see your winter build.
I get one side of the rag feed it around the handle and pull it round and round but have to use the edge of the rag so it slides in to the shaft, but anyway you got it, all the best to you and your loved ones
That still one of your best rides!

I'm new to the channel and glad I subscribed! I'm building a 1950 Plymouth special with my son and this is great content and our style. If you ever come across a front grille for my 1950 please let me know. Great video again!

They do make a tool for getting the window cranks off. I have from back in the body days. Not hard to replicate. Say 16 gauge steel with a slot the size of the groves in the window crank.

That is a good tip. Never thought of doing that. So what is the next big project. Ronnie.
You can make a clip remover out a old fork adjust outside tynes as need we used to cut the tynes down by about 5mm then adjust the gape to fit
Chrysler Sled Qld Australia 🇦🇺
It has AC wow that just opened up sales in the lower half of the lower 48...lol
