      People have different body sizes, limb proportions, and muscular strength. what works for Ray Allen probably wont work for you because you probably have different body compared to Ray. Basic principle applies, but trying to exactly copy a player's shot just because he is good does not work.

      Lebron: PG, Ray allen: SG, D wade: SF, Shane Battier: Pf, Chris Bosh: C

      and if I played online, it didn't even matter, They're bench had depth

      ***** Nah. Lol. They don't even have online matchups like that anymore tho. Now its all MyPark or Myteam.
      But nah, I don't like the warriors or the cavs. I don't even like using current teams tbh.
      This was back when I first started playing 2k which was like THREE, FOUR YEARS AGO lmao
      my fav team to use is the hornets, bucks, or jazz

    last of a breed that one. I'm gonna miss him. we won't see a guy like that for another 20 years. how lucky were we to get jordan- then see kobe. not even looking at his whole game- just looking at it from an aesthetic point of view- like that guy was just enjoyable to watch play. iverson was my favourite to watch - but he just missed so much, made so many bad calls, it was kind of maddening as well, depsite how nice his game was.
    but this guy-
    jordans game was so smooth and beautiful and to follow it with kobe- we were blessed. i mean todays 2 guards are all great- but players with that level of fluidity , athleticism, movement- don't come along very often.

      +Dante' Fewell no hes making a point that lebrons mechanic is fucked up. He brings the ball up from his left hip as opposed to coming up the middle. It means that when he shoots going to the right it is harder for him to shoot.

    • @Red4350
      @Red4350 8 років тому

      +Cuzjudd I think they're spinning cause it...it's less time to react or look at the baslet...you have to spin and shoot like it's nothing

    • @shannonsze1602
      @shannonsze1602 7 років тому +1

      +Michael Sun that's a great point but please with all humbleness, correct me if I'm wrong. I thought the reason of doing that is because NBA players are so good defensively, so if they just bring the ball up from the middle they get stripped easily. So hence they have to swing their arm from side (like more advance way of shooting and avoiding strip) like Kobe and cp3 does it all the time when there're defender up close?

    • @michaels6951
      @michaels6951 7 років тому +1

      Shannon Sze Yeah Kobe and CP3 are elite mid range shooters and they can get adjust to whatever side they are going to. They can either bring the ball up from their right or left side when going up for a pullup jumper. This is pretty natural as you bring the ball up diagonally as your body turns to the net and it protects the ball better from a trailing defender. From a standstill position Kobe and cp3 do this to get space but it's a difficult shot and it also depends on your shot mechanics.
      Players like curry or klay won't do this because they don't jump very high and they shoot very quickly. They don't have the time in the air to bring the ball to their shot pocket and shoot. They have very quick releases so they basically do all the work beforehand and get their bodies squared and the ball closer to their center before they go up.
      The problem is that Lebron is not an elite shooter and he has built a habit of bringing the ball up from his left hip even when he has all the space in the world. He is not doing it in an advantageous way and it is affecting his accuracy. This coupled with the fact that lebron is more comfortable dribbling with his right means that he usually drives with his right and likes to shoot when going to his left. This was the old scouting report for lebron back when he could shoot better.

  • @telmolicious
    @telmolicious 9 років тому +1

    Who is the better shooter? Korver or Curry? How do u measure tough shots (lower FG%) with easier shots (higher FG%)?
    It's impossible to say how much easier it is for Korver and how much higher his FG% should be to make up for the easier shots.
    Perhaps Curry should pass the ball to get it back for sum "catch and shoot" more instead of taking those difficult contested shots.

    • @keylantaylor
      @keylantaylor 9 років тому +1

      It seems that curry needs to shoot off the dribble in order to be more effective. The reason he won't win a 3 point shootout is because he needs a dribble to be great and establish rhythm. To me Korver is the btter shooter but Curry is a better player and we've never seen a great player who can shoot like that other than KD and Dirk

    • @telmolicious
      @telmolicious 9 років тому +2

      King Taylor He needs to shoot of the dribble to be great? Never heard that theory before. Ppl usually say that he is better than Kyle because he takes tougher shots. I would assume his numbers would go up if he shot more catch and shoot.

    • @keylantaylor
      @keylantaylor 9 років тому +1

    • @telmolicious
      @telmolicious 9 років тому

      King Taylor But that is out of need and not preference. Steph is - an often - double teamed point guard, where as Kyle isn't defended as much by the opposing team. Perhaps it is just too hard for Steph to get any open looks since he is being guarded all the time.

    • @keylantaylor
      @keylantaylor 9 років тому +1
