Ray was Big Time great!!! There are a lot of ppl that don't know anything about young Ray Allen and how crazy explosive he was. Could get buckets and he could take it the rack and elevate above you. Ended up being the key piece to a Celtics ring and a ring in Miami. Neither squads win it without him. Loved watching him from his UConn days vs A.I and Kerry Kittles. Shuttlesworth was the real truth!

I have so much love and respect for Ray Allen. One of my favorite players. Highly skilled player, but above all one of the greatest shooters I've ever seen in my life, especially in the clutch. My idol.
Ray Allen and Reggie Miller are the top 2 shooters of all time.. In a league where man on man defence was tough these guys would get their shots against Pipen and Jordan. I can’t imagine players today.. Harden and Steph, getting 3s like these guys did. The only time I will compare eras is when it comes to 3point shots
@@trevorlund8282 Reggie & Ray didn't have free reign to shoot 10+ 3s a gm. Steph would be his pops in their era with the defense they played back then.
One of my favorite players! Huge fan since Connecticut! I hated his shot against my Spurs, but I was also happy for him, cause he was a terrific complete player, not just a shooter and he seems to be a good person as well!
Every team had at least 1 guy who was capable of going for 50 on any night, and a 7 footer in the 90s. Now maybe 10 players total can do that any time they want and no real centers. It's a watered down league, no wonder chicks think wnba players can play with men.
I remember when he was in middle school and used to come to the gym @ Shaw A. F. B. to get some runs (his pops was A. F.) and his dad used to whisper to us not to cut him any slack and he would play hard for a young kid and never backed down, he was good but we didn’t know he was NBA good until the next summer and he got taller. I was around my early twenties or late teens so he was maybe ten or twelve years old. Believe me when I say he earned his spot because his dad had him working hard every day that summer and he loved it.
Ray Allen was a phenomenal player. He was the complete package. I never got to watch him when he played for Milwaukee but will never forget how amazing he was on the Sonics. The man was an assassin on the baseline with those nasty two-handed dunks. My favorite Allen game was when he cooked the Raptors and made Vince Carter quit. The 2000s was great because many players developed their niche and excelled in their own unique way.
After MJ retired in ‘98, Ray was the player I gravitated towards as a fan. Coincidentally, the Bucks were ascending and getting more national TV looks all at the same time
It was a DAME shame how his former Celtics players did him they didn't invite him to a Anniversary party they had cause they were mad that he went to the heat and they all said f@$k him and that was dirty on their part
UConn Ray Allen was a beast as well. His athleticism was on full display there, and ability to go on scoring sprees for 20+ points in a half before the coaches would pull him. Prototypical Shooting Guard.
That same night ray allen had the double ot game Tmac had 40 in a half I think. Then Kobe 81. It was a crazy next day watching nba tv. Word to Rick kamla
Dat Ray Allens 3pt shot vs Spurs back pedalling to d 3pt line without looking back while Tony Parker is chasing him is d greatest shot in NBA history. Steph, Dame, Fisher, Kyrie etc have shot great shots, BUT to back pedal to d 3ot line without looking back while a player is chaser u, den u jump up in front of d defender & shoot a 3? DATS INSANE
I wanted to play like ray allen before simply because I played w ball dominant players before and I figured the only way I can stay on the court on offense is to move around and shoot
I remember the year he signed with Boston. I was so upset. Cuz they had drafted KD with the overall 2 pick. I saw KD college season all the way through hoping him and Allen would make the Sonics Elite again. That Ray Allen waw a bad man. 😂
Real two motion legend… he was flying on that jumper. Off course no jumper touches Mike elevation but I’d say Ray Allen’s definitely #2. And both are ectomorphs… you gotta have very little body fat to shoot like that all game and not get tired
More than just a 3 point shooter, Ray Allen was a very versatile offensive player and an underrated off ball playmaker. Curry can be the greatest shooter but Ray Allen is the greatest CLUTCH 3 point shooter
Ray Allen was like the Mitch Richmond of his era, but fortunately he ended up playing on better teams in Milwaukee and Boston than Mitch did in Golden State and Sacramento. Both guys got a ring but Allen truly earned his - no offense to Richmond. Ray would still be my go to if I needed a catch and shoot three.
Anyone who creates space from off ball movement to shoot plus having dribbling ability is dangerous. He was like Rip Hamilton of the pistons but on steroids with his movement before he got older.
Arguably the best basketball player of all time… I have to say that Michael Jordan stands out to this day for anybody. I bought some Air Force One Michael Jordan black and red. I wore them literally until the souls were ready to fall off… They actually lasted twice as long as two pairs of vans… Like that, I wouldn’t put their name on something that didn’t have quality to match the name.
The bucks big 3 of Allen,Robinson, and Cassel was robbed of a finals birth in 2001.....definitely think they would have put up a better fight than philadelphia did
@basketballtimemachine please do a video on this #wedonewiththe90s bronsexually fueled Protest 😂 Edit: Jxhighroller did a vid but he does not do it justice
Simply perfect form, no more words.
Not perfect but maybe the quickest
Ray Allen had the complete package. He is underrated in my opinion.
Really is.

My favorite player of all time. Growing up in Milwaukee, he made me love the game
He got game. Definitely applicable to Ray Allen.

Ray is responsible for LeBron having another ring think about it?
Easily my favorite Milwaukee bucks of all time nothing on gannis he got game!

Yeah this was a good one! I remember picking Milwaukee just for Ray Allen in the NBA 2k!

I have so much love and respect for Ray Allen. One of my favorite players. Highly skilled player, but above all one of the greatest shooters I've ever seen in my life, especially in the clutch. My idol.
He was just so elegant. Never seemed out of control or off his rhythm. Hopefully kids coming up pay attention to his game.
Greatness. He stood out on every team he played for and that's saying something when you look who he played with.

This is definitely my favorite basketball channel. Great job!!!
My three favourite players all time are: Grant Hill, Elton Brand and Ray Allen. Great to see two of them in this vid.

I was a fan when I first saw him at UCONN unbelievable talent
NEVER would of thought I’d see the day where 90s basketball is being disrespected like they try to do with the 60s… NEVER!
Oh be quiet 😂 if literally NOTHING else in the world is safe from being disrespected why in the world would 90’s basketball get a pass? Like really? 😅

It’s being disrespected by the new generation that can’t even figure out what a Male and Female is. So don’t pay attention to these Jokers.

Ray was a cold dude I remember the dunks he did with the bucks I had his poster on my wall growing up
As a fan of the Heat since the expansion; I was ecstatic when he joined the team during the Big 3 era. 🏀🔥
Bruh even in Boston Ray when still attacking the paint…dude was a beast and def underrated 💯🔥🔥
Milwaukee Bucks' Ray Allen was the most versatile and most entertaining to watch... 🙂👍🏼

Hi Shawn. I was wondering if you have ever covered or could cover Robert Parish. Thanks for the channel, love the content. My favorite NBA channel!

Allen in the Bucks was something vicious!
UConn Ray Allen was a beast as well. His athleticism was on full display there, and ability to go on scoring sprees for 20+ points in a half before the coaches would pull him. Prototypical Shooting Guard.
Him and Iverson use to go at it. UConn vs Georgetown.
Ray was dropping 22 a game and 26.4 a game (Highest) when those numbers really meant something
Another great 1 he was 🫡
