BGW cancelling what looked like a top 10 worldwide coaster for a family invert has to be one of the most disappointing moves to come from a theme park chain in the history of coaster fandom. I'll believe SeaWorld is back in the thrill coaster business when I see it and not a second before.

Huh? That's BGT, not BGW. There was never a confirmation of anything else going in there. And BGW getting a family invert is also only just a rumor.

I really hope that the new family coaster at Williamsburg is named and themed after the big bag wolf. I think it would be a HUGE hit with long time locals and everyone to properly honor the ride and give their kids a similar ride to what they rode as a kid.

SeaWorld San Antonio desperately needs a new thrill ride. would love to see a wing coaster or mack extreme spinner. They definitely have the land for it

Yes, probably a family friendly coaster for 2025 in San Diego. I hope they go extreme, Mack Extreme, for the one after that!
Along with the new B&M Surf or Family Inverted coaster, I think that SeaWorld San Diego will look to upgrade their Journey to Atlantis attraction.
This will turn the flume coaster into a fully-themed premiere water ride. New, improved story elements include how Atlantis couldn’t live in harmony with Mother Nature, and was swallowed by the sea. Park guests will witness the god’s wrath in two major drops. The lagoon between the towers will be enclosed in a Grecian temple, allowing for updated special effects from the Orlando version.
Speaking of Orlando, SeaWorld Orlando will look to update their front entrance plaza for the 2025 season. This will be a perfect addition alongside the Flying Theater and the flat rides that you mentioned.

That sounds great, but I don't believe they would make the lagoon enclosed. It's visibly appealing and gets the people's attention when they see the drop and the waterfall coming from above as well as the boats going around the lagoon. If they did it would be closer the when they go inside the tower a little after going by electric eel.

I would actually like to see BG Tampa get some flat rides. They have almost none. I'd like to see them create an area with some flat and thrill rides (like the Starflyer you mentioned) so there's something ELSE to do other than just the coasters. Build an area with five or six flat/thrill rides and maybe a new eatery and bathrooms. I honestly don't see them putting in another coaster so soon after they open the one this year. Especially not a thirty five million dollar BnM.

They need some kind of indoor ride desperately. Majority of people seem to be calling for it too. Considering 90% of the park shuts down for weather during the summer months. They could benefit from something similar to gringotts bank where it's half roller coaster half dark ride.

There is a rumor around BGT that 2024 Phoenix Rising, 2025 thrill ride, 2026 major (giga?) coaster.
If BGT got a giga, it would curb stomp six flags over georgia as the "thrill capital of the south" and it wouldn't be even close.

While I could see the giga drawing crowds, there are a few things that might do more to pull in the Orlando tourists. Remember, a giga only means anything to a coaster enthusiast and the "tallest coaster" isn't necessarily what the Orlando crowds are paying for. But what if they got a wild card that makes everyone stop in their tracks? I'm talking a large scale S&S Axis coaster. That would make for an incredible billboard advertisement. The Universal fans would be blown away and the Disney fans should think they're seeing the future. My other thought should be an S&S 4D coaster if those are still on the menu but I'm guessing they go with the Axis. It's the kind of thing that sells itself by looks alone. Then add a little theming and a near miss or two and people would be more excited about it than the fame jump track on the Donkey Kong ride.
I really doubt that would happen. But if it did it would really make the Epic Universe visitors feel like they've got to make the drive to Tampa.
I enjoy roller coasters, but just looking at the mock up of the axis coaster is making me motion sick lol

It already has 2 launch coasters. It needs something different. I would say a wing coaster since it best fits the animal theme of the park.

A solid dark ride would really diversify the ride line up. Even a lot of the six flags parks have one dark ride.
No one likes dark rides. Go to universal if you want to be stuck in 1998

Seaworld Orlando desperately needs flat thrill rides, but with Epic opening in 2025, I think they need to invest in another coaster
They have opened a coaster in 2022, 2023 and there's another one coming in 2024. Having a new coaster 4 years running is a lot to ask for. I think it will be smaller investment for 2025.
I think Seaworld Orlando will announce a 3 year expansion plan for 2025-2027 in response to Epic Universal because they are building 2 hotels including a 500 room hotel in a current backstage and the company has mentioned the hotels on earnings calls so they are happening plus permits we're filed last year with that being said the future will be exciting for this park. I also think a flying theater is coming in 2025 along with a thrilling flat ride in the Key West section, new animal experience, a new experience in Discovery Cove and a major expansion for Aquatica on the land next to the park to have exciting additions to compete with Universal in 2025 and to get ready for the Seaworld hotel in 2026. in addition to Seaworld Orlando I think Busch Gardens Tampa will add the tallest and fastest coaster in Florida in the form of a B&M Giga well Busch Gardens Willamsburg gets the family invert coaster big bad wolf beyond Busch Gardens I do think Seaworld San Diego will get a New Surf Coaster with a lift hill, 3 inversions and a launch as for the waterparks I think each park will get a new waterslide with the ones in Florida and Texas getting the most thrilling ones. In 2025 I think Seasme Place San Diego will get 5 new rides including some kind of indoor attraction well the one in Philadelphia adds a dinner theater and a zamperla nebulaz and finally I think Seaworld Texas will add a Seasme Place park in 2025 to respond to Universal Kids Resort in 2026 so they can add have something big for families a year ahead of the Universal park in Frisco which will then allow for 2026 to be the year for thrillseekers to compete with a likely new for 2026 thrill coaster at Fiesta Texas the nation's best Six Flags so with that being said I think that Universal will be a factor in what the Seaworld parks and entertainment does in Florida and Texas well the other parks in California, Virginia and Pennsylvania add new attractions that don't have to compete with Universal because I think Seaworld will try to be better especially with Universal and Merlin expanding further in North America so they have to diversify their expansions and additions going forward to keep family and thrillseeker visitors coming back so I can totally see them adding only 3 new coasters in the chain well the rest of the parks get non-coaster additions to give guests more than just coasters to ride because they need indoor rides, flat rides, animal experiences and increased theming to make their parks have something for everyone which is important to future growth of the chain.

At this point I will be SURPRISED if SeaWorld Orlando adds another coaster after Penguin Trek, only because they've used up so much land. Unless they do an indoor launch coaster replacing the Wild Arctic ride, I can't realistically think of anywhere else they put a coaster.
Edit: they could build a coaster over the lake, like Wave Breaker at SW San Antonio
Water country is the best sea world water park very scenic and diverse line up
Not only do I think that Adventure Island could use a new water coaster, but I think Aquatica San Antonio could also use one in order to compete with Thunder Rapids at Hurricane Harbor inside nearby Six Flags San Antonio.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again. The one coaster I want to see Busch Gardens Williamsburg add more than any other is a wing coaster where Drachen Fire used to sit. I am sure there's a mythical bird of some kind they could theme it to, and if they wanted to add a new area, preferably Spain for me, this could be their anchor attraction. Not to mention, it would be nice competition for Kings Dominion if they get a new wing coaster also.
I think the next new coaster for SeaWorld San Diego should be a hyper gtx coaster from Chance. It's a hyper coaster that stays under the parks height limit without launching or going upside down, and it would provide some nice airtime that lacks from the parks other coasters. But no shin guards on the lap bars like what they have on Lightning Run at Kentucky Kingdom. I don't know why they're there, but I find them unnecessary, and they can make an uncomfortable ride for guests with soar knees.
I really hope BGW is just trolling us and gives us the RMC that they so need.

I heard there will be a B&M Giga at BGT. I might be mistaken, but they supposedly got permission to build a ride over 300 feet. A Giga looks very possible soon, if not 2025. Gerstlaurer would be awesome like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Nickelodeon in Jersey. Make it bigger though lol
Quick question. IF the giga or whatever major coaster were to come to BGT, what part of land could they use for it?
The wild arctic building in Seaworld Orlando should become a flying theatre attraction but instead of being themed to flying you experience life as a wild orca in the arctic and you could call it Wild Arctic still since you'd be exploring the arctic as a wild orca and it would fir perfectly with Orca Encounter (the orca show) being right next door up the hill

Missing aquatica San Antonio
The economy is not doing well. Cedar Fair and Six Flag's massive debt is coming due in the next 1.5yr. I don't see any chain or park spending $30 mill plus on coasters. Especially when you look at in park spending and attendance and massive rides barely make a difference. Lower cost family rides and extensive park improvements are what we will probably see. Its every year all the time someone is predicting a giga and no one builds one. Busch Gardens Tampa for example their attendance from 2006 to 2018 remained relatively flat regardless of attractions. I think people over play the "built it and they will come" mind set.
Flat rides are flat. I cannot go to place which does not take Cash
I love BGs...but they are really dropping the ball...everybody else in the amusement park industry is going bigger and badder, or at least more interesting...and the BGs are adding 2 heaping slops of "meh"...what makes it even worse is that they were going to do great things, but decided to go "meh" instead.
They better do something astounding in the next couple of years at both parks...or they are going to get left in the dust.
BGT is doing well after adding iron gwazi. Not many parks can top that
@@metallicnole4514 agreed...but you cannot rest on your laurels in this industry...Iron Gwazi is a great ride, but BGT needs at least one more elite world class ride to really rank up with the best.
@@metallicnole4514 and BGW has really fallen back...Pantheon was supposed to be, and could/should have been truly great, but they just made it really good when it could have rivaled Velociraptor.
They are both putting in what I'm sure are going to be "good" well done B&Ms...but they both need some more truly elite to be among the best parks anywhere....it just seems like they are both settling for "meh" since Iron Gwazi.
@@harlandeke BGT already ranks up there with the best, especially with iron gwazi. Many enthusiasts hold BGT in high regard.
@@metallicnole4514 I love BG and SW...so I'm not going to argue with you. I'm big time disappointed in them right now for the lackluster "meh" rides we are getting at BGT and BGW after being super excited for something truly AWESOME, especially for BGW..and you're not disappointed...so there we are.
