About Big Bad Wolf:
Big Bad Wolf was a suspended roller coaster in the Oktoberfest section of Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Designed by Arrow Dynamics, the roller coaster opened to the public on June 15, 1984. The ride was in service for more than 25 years before closing permanently on September 7, 2009. The footers, queue line, and station were re-purposed for Verbolten, a roller coaster that was introduced in 2012.

What new coaster does BGW need?
BGW is missing a true “Sister Coaster” to Tampa’s Kumba. Kumba is such an excellent sitdown coaster; shame they couldn’t get it right similarly with Drachen Fire. If Kumba were at Williamsburg I’d feel like BGW was nearly perfect.
Whatever they decide to go in Drachen Fire’s location, it has to be exciting. Another “family coaster” would be incredibly underwhelming.
A Hyper RMC would be perfect considering BG in Tampa got Iron Gwazi, and it has nothing but positive reviews. If BG was smart they would do a Hyper Giga, or Hyper RMC.

It would be cooler if maybe they make a difference between phoenix rising and big bad wolf model Ik it’s not confirmed but maybe make it a family flying coaster by B&M
I wish S&S would bring back the suspended coaster model. They made their own 4D coasters so why not the suspended one? I bet loads of parks would buy them! I know i would if i could!!!
I think that's what they were trying to do with the Axis...but so far nobody has really bought one

So Son of Wolf would be like Alpengeist in its design? I'm down wit that the Big Bad Wolf was my first coaster & i love Verbolten so hopefully they make this ❤

Drachen spire was never going to happen. I mean a 300 foot intamin shuttle launch, no way. And while I do think this is a great addition, I believe a more thrilling attraction would be better for this plot of land. BGW and BGT are already very similar parks, now this. Sorry Busch gardens, this is not the answer.
I was all about the rumored RMC Hyper
And SeaWorld and Busch Gardens stopped caring for flat rides and screen-based rides forever. And SeaWorld Orlando has no more room for a larger scale flat ride. And I want Busch Gardens Williamsburg to replace the former Corkscrew Hill building for a flying theater, something most non-Disney parks find too expensive.

“Drachen Spire” would’ve been Dumb. BGW doesn’t need 4 Launch Coasters. Also, a “Family Coaster” is incredibly, incredibly underwhelming for the old Drachen Fire spot. Drachen Fire was intense, & we don’t need a Snooze Fest back there. Make the fans happy & pay homage to Drachen Fire/Big Bad Wolf correctly but putting a superb coaster back there please. 🙏

But Agian there was so much love for the big bad wolf they could of replaced the track on wolf but they saw cost what it would take to save the wolf and new computer
Ideally it would have gotten a refurb and redo like Nessie
@@JakeCoasters the biggest issue on all of arrow coasters in the 1980s like Nessie was the tracks needed to be welded in that's why Nessie took so long because unlike today's track is bolted together
I miss BBW so much, unfortunately nothing can replace it besides a better, updated version

Would’ve love to see an RMC as I love all their coasters and they genuinely haven’t missed. especially because you could definitely also add the invert family coaster elsewhere as BGW has some great terrain more central to the park that would be great for an invert

I really don't get why people think that Verboten is a good BBW replacement, it's a glorified box coaster that just copies BBW's ending. Instead of making great use of the terrain that they had to work with, they just slapped an ugly looking box and wasted the amazing potential of something like SWSD Manta meets Helix (family style like Manta with Helix's terrain use), yes Helix wasn't even a thing yet, but its the best comparison for a terrain Mack.
I just don't get how people think that a glorified box coaster is a worthy replacement for a beloved terrain coaster. It isn't and as a result i consider Verboten to be one of the worst coasters ever built, the wasted potential of the ride is just insulting, and the fact that it reportedly cost $50-million makes it even worse.
Should just demolish that mistake (save for the parts of BBW it reused) and build this there, that's what I'd do myself, would also cut down on the number of launch coasters the park has, giving DarkKoaster an actual reason to exist as opposed to now where it would have been better as a powered coaster. BGW has too many launch coasters, sure it isnt as bad as the Universal Orlando Resort, but its still a problem when 4/5 recently added coasters are maunch coasters.
I think it certainly is unique for the park and is a good family coaster. I also enjoy the drop track.
What a lot of people don’t realize is that when drunken fire was in that plot they got a lot of noise complaints from the nearby Kingsmill so loud intense thrill rides like a 200 foot RMC would just cause those problems again but a BNM family invert won’t or even a flying Costa from vekoma if that ends up being the case
You left out the part about DF getting a silent rollback mechanism. RMC can easily commission one.
