NOTE: Nemesis Reborn is not on this list because the layout and ride experience will remain the exact same despite the complete retracking. With Fire in the Hole 2.0, the effects will be greatly upgraded and on-board audio will be added to the trains, making it a revitalized ride experience.
@@reedspace8267I think that is Mine Cart Carnage, Mine Cart Madness is found much later in the game and you can actually jump out of the carts while they are in motion.
Ive been clean from drink and drugs now for just over 8 years. Like everyone i have good and bad days. And on bad days, i usually stick one of your videos on, even if its just in the background and it really makes me feel like i have a friend in the room. Your comment is truly moving. Knowing that my videos bring you comfort in hard times is incredibly humbling. Congratulations on your 8 years of sobriety! That takes a lot of guts, and I'm honored to play even a small part in your journey. Your strength and resilience are truly an inspiration. Stay strong and keep pushing forward. I'm grateful to have you as a part of my community. Thank you for sharing your story with me, and I'm here to keep bringing content that feels like a friend in the room. Take care and keep being amazing!
The coolest thing about the Donkey Kong coaster is that it’s based off of a specific level, “Mine Cart Carnage”, from Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo! That game isn’t just any Nintendo game; it’s one of the best games of all time and has become a timeless classic. For anyone who is a video game nerd & a coaster nerd, it’s unprecedented!
I had a SNES when I was a kid and DKC was the only game I had, but it was the only game I needed haha. Me and my sister played it so much. Such a great game.
I grew up in Phoenix and im so glad my hometown is finally getting some good coasters. The Valley Of The Sun really needs a decent park, especially with all the snowbirds moving into town for the winter.
As I’m moving to London next year it’s going to be so much easier for me to get to Thorpe, and even though it’s not a truly new coaster I’m so excited to have Nemmy back (I did find a picture of me and my family stood in front of it in 1994).
I'm beyond excited for Iron Menace! Dorney Park seriously needed a coster that wasn't another Cedar Fair hand-me-down. I'm certain that my fellow locals will enjoy the theming as well!
I personally am very excited for Flash Vertical Velocity, All American Triple Loop, & Iron Menace. Those 3 looks amazing & I'm planning on those 3 parks for 2024.
Tbf, it's going to be dramatically less intense than the original if it's only going to do 0-70 or so. That initial launch was just nuts with the hydraulic system.
Beyond excited for Hyperia as it's going to be at my local park. Also insanely excited for Nemesis re-opening next year, the theming looks great already.
This list contained more family rides than I was expecting. I was anticipating more high-intensity rides here, but it's cool to know that kid-friendly rides are also valued here. I'm especially intrigued by the Donkey Kong themed coaster. I especially love what they came up with for jumping the tracks without putting the riders at risk.
Im very exited for Bobcat. This was a very smart desiction to replace Alpine Bobsled with a gravity group family Coaster. Also, this is not their first time with gravity group. Gravity Group has done Retracking for Comet many times in the past. So, This should have been no shocker to see them build a woodie for the park.
A Condiment King ride would make a good dueling coaster with people having to choose mustard or ketchup and have it themed to a fight with Batman (the Ride?).
I’m thinking about going to Great Adventure for not only for its 50th anniversary and for The Flash in 2024, but it will also be the same year that I turned 30 and graduate college! Talk about a fitting year for all that!
Honestly cannot believe a UK ride is on the top spot. Even though I've now actually SEEN Hyperia, it still doesn't feel real. Last year's visit to Thorpe was incredible, the park really felt like it was going places again. The park was tidy, old bits were being cleaned up, rides were working reliably... and now they're adding this beast. It feels like early 2000's Thorpe Park again.
Hyperia will be a great thrill ride, but way too short. Thats why it would only get my third spot. My top 3 list of coasters i cant wait to ride are: Top 3: Hyperio Top 2: Top Thrill 2 (never did but planing to visit next year) Top 1: Voltron (my home park) I mean 8 inversions, 4 launches (one of them beyond vertical) Spike, turn table, dark ride section with effect track (what ever this means) high capacity, great theming (as always) i truly cant wait for that monster of track. I mean 1300 m length is absolutely insane for a coaster who doesnt reach the hights of 40 Meters but has 4 launches lmao
Donkey Kong coaster number 1 all the way like wtf am I looking at, UA-cam click bait thumbnails come to life Top 1 donkey Kong coaster (never going on it but yeah) Top 2 hyperia (my home park) Top 3 voltron (just cus it slows down a lot, I want it consistent and pacy)
I’m soooo happy to see a new Fire in the Hole. SDC was my first theme park, and Fire in the Hole was my first amusement park ride ever. I’m so glad to hear they’re bringing a new version!
*need to visit all theme parks in existence intensifies* i SERIOUSLY wish i had the funds to visit all these places to ride every each and one of thees rides!! they all look awesome!!! might be getting a chance to ride the new seaworld one so looking forward to that!
Voltron is very close to being completed, i know this because I went to Europa park in december 2023 and i saw voltron from the nearby coaster, Euro-Mir
Because SFOG is my home park, the Ultra Surf is very exciting to see it come to the park and will be a huge hit as it will serve a new water ride to cool off guests in the hot Georgia summer. It’s probably going to be better than Aquaman at Over Texas
Hyperia definitely deserves number one spot although i was surprised that minifigure speedway at Legoland windsor was not on this list its a zierer family racing coaster that looks to be quite good for smaller kids and families. Btw I loved the video!
Ok but is it just me or did this year go by so fast, it was just like my bday was just yesterday and it’s in august,it’s like Jan 1st 2023 was a week ago, and it felt like wildcats revenge just opened 3 days ago
I’ve got to say I’m very impressed with Thorpe park during its winter season as the past years Thorpe park have been lacking on rides and haven’t been doing much to improve the park but this year they’ve flown up Hyperia and are having many big improvements to the park and that’s including a whole different themed area but the downside is they’re new logo.
As someone living in Phoenix, I’m just happy we’re finally getting some decent coasters in AZ. We mainly have the coasters at Castles and Coasters and those two are pure jank.
An amazing video as always! I'm surprised Drayton Manor's new coaster didn't make it on the list tbh. That has a lift hill and a launch! But I'm glad hyperia made it on there. I'm around an hours drive away from Thorpe Park and I'm going for my first ever visit in 2024!
I would have loved to discuss it. Seems like an awesome Intamin! Unfortunately, the park hasn't released enough official artwork and/or information about it.
I am most excited for Hyperia, I’ve been following it since it was announced as Project Exodus. I really like MACK Rides so yeah. And happy New years and happy 2024/end of 2023 everyone.
Looking forward to the roller coasters coming this year, and I have to admit, it's out of this world. The 2 Hot Wheels coasters and the Donkey Kong coaster are about to make my childhood dreams come true. I grew with both of them as a kid. I'm 23 years old and still play with them and the fact that they are about to become roller coasters made me absolutely speechless. I'm crying with pure excitement knowing that you have included these rides on the list. Thank you so much TPC!!😭❤️👍

I feel like they could have made the penguin trek cars more cool if they had like a mini penguin figurine on the front or penguin decals. But overall I am excited for this years coaster lineup
I'm not sure if this idea would work. What if you had 3-4 track Racer rollercoaster that is chain pulled, the carts are car themed, but the carts have peddles inside that you turn with your feet. The chain pulls you up at a certain speed, but with everybody using the peddles, you can make the climb go faster, making the ride an actual Racer rollercoaster.
it warms my heart to see new kids' boomerang coasters. boomerang at knott's will always be my personal favorite because it was my first big boy coaster and i was terrified. it might've never happened if i wasn't peer pressured on by a bunch of kids i barely knew but it just unlocked every amusement park after riding boomerang. all the rides were for me too and that was like right before batman opened at magic mountain so i rode the shit out of it. the stupid round up ride made me puke tho which taught me i can ride ANYTHING except shit just spins.

Branding is so important. Good gravy is like basic coaster but its the one I'm most excited about only because the theming and branding is so awesome. So dumb its genius
Upset to see Top Thrill 2. While you can get harder launches at Kingda Ka and Formula Rossa, the reason Zamperla is doing a rollback is simply because the LIM propulsion doesn't have the power to get the ride over the top hat in a single pass. Veterans of the original layout will feel the ride has been neutered. The chance to level the playing field with an air time hill like Kingda Ka is a missed opportunity as well. Part of the thrill of the ride was also hearing the cable spool up to speed on launch. LIM is silent.

To me, Hyperia and Voltron look to be the best new rides of the year. I live an hour away from Thorpe Park and cannot wait to ride it
Haha I live 40 minutes away
Loving that the UK is so highly anticipated! Almost never happens! 🥰

I'm beyond excited for Iron Menace! Dorney Park seriously needed a coster that wasn't another Cedar Fair hand-me-down. I'm certain that my fellow locals will enjoy the theming as well!
Now if they can just get a awesome launch like Pantheon back where Dinosaurs Alive used to be.
I personally am very excited for Flash Vertical Velocity, All American Triple Loop, & Iron Menace. Those 3 looks amazing & I'm planning on those 3 parks for 2024.
you chose iron menace over circuit breaker and palindrome????

Beyond excited for Hyperia as it's going to be at my local park. Also insanely excited for Nemesis re-opening next year, the theming looks great already.

I'm especially intrigued by the Donkey Kong themed coaster. I especially love what they came up with for jumping the tracks without putting the riders at risk.
Honestly yeah. It feels very Nintendo to have some kind of innovative twist on a ride like that.
I find it interesting how far apart the two Vekoma shuttle coasters are on this list. I think it shows what theming and marketing will do for you.
