In the split second the rear starts to tip, she hits the breaks, I wonder if hitting the gas, quick enough would have pulled her forward just enough to avoid tipping.
Exactly. Usally rollovers are "slow motion" enough that there is time to go into reverse or turn the wheel or do something to save it. It's when people do as she described "we are going to roll" and do nothing but hit the breaks, thats when it gets ya. Quick thinking can save your rig in a scenario like that.

Whew was that a close call. Glad nobody was hurt. It certainly looks like if Matt hadn’t stopped them it might have been bad. Thank God Matt did. Wow👍👍👍❤️
No one is frantic, no one is going crazy, everyone steps up and helps. Team Work at its best.
Most people's tendency is to freeze/shut down when something like this happens. Matt is one of those people you know you can trust with your life.
Always love to see you guys cleaning up the mess after the mayhem. Too many people would just leave the trash behind.
Crazy driving off road But no one really got hurt and lucky they had a great support of friends with them too.
Blessings to you all
If you are going to flip over you want to flip when Matt is around. He didn’t have to make a call
And it’s freee
But did he get a shirt?
@@lornahardin4563 HE DIDN'T MAKE THE CALL!!!! COME ON!!!!
@@kingarthur9157 He sure did, by osmosis. LOL
He made a CRAWL, though. Out the window to where Matt was already trying to crawl in and get him!
"Tell the insurance agent you ran into a cat..." that was a good one...
Hi Matt, I have watched you in action so many times now, I just had to have one of your "signature" model "energy distributing" recovery rope. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to get my new rope.
Minus the rollover that gal really knows how to wheel that thing.
In the split second the rear starts to tip, she hits the breaks, I wonder if hitting the gas, quick enough would have pulled her forward just enough to avoid tipping.
😔
I was confused by this comment: "Wait, she was on the passenger side...... Oh yes, somehow something got reversed here."
kpresnell45 theoretically yes but not 100%, hard to think when that’s happening
"But other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?"
5:06 When in doubt throttle out. Those brakes will get you every time.
Exactly. Usally rollovers are "slow motion" enough that there is time to go into reverse or turn the wheel or do something to save it. It's when people do as she described "we are going to roll" and do nothing but hit the breaks, thats when it gets ya. Quick thinking can save your rig in a scenario like that.

No t-shirt given: " So I made a call"

That was really good. I'm glad everyone is ok. Matt never disappoints and is always prepared to save the day.
that's like having a heart attack while at the doctor's office....couldn't have been a better place to do it
I would laugh at that but my grandma died at the doctors office
@@dustinvandehey889 For real, I work on a cardiac icu and I'd be happier if it happened there instead of an office.
@@vashusan1984 I can agree with that
I believe the best place to have a heart attack is at a big sport stadium during a game. Statistically, it happens a lot so they are totally practised and organised.
Everyone who has responded to this so far is taking the euphemism to far. Its a simple reflection on life. Don't make it about you. Ha ha. Love this stuff.
Glad everyone was fine. Looked like a fun day overall.
That’s a group where I would be comfortable going out with! Just started watching the videos about 3 days ago and I love this damn crew lol and lots of love from Colorado Springs!
Same, this video was even more fun then his others.
"Had a good day wheeling, it was real good until it wasn't. "
That has absolutely been my experience with going wheeling.
Maybe this a bad idea ! You can have a lot of fun off road but this whole episode seemed risky, unsafe, and foolish. If you think that I am just a wuss, how much fun would this have been for the man and woman had they tumbled down the incline? Attempting some paths with family around is just stupid! Not every trek needs to be conquered! Discretion is not weakness, it is a sound decision .
I believe it was Ghandi that once said “ when in doubt, throttle out”
I thought it was Nelson Mandela
So you're saying it wasn't Mother Theresa? Learn something new every day!
I thought it was Benjamin Franklin?
It was Abraham Lincoln actually ...everyone else is just fake news.
nah....was definitely Helen Keller.
Glad everyone's ok. Broke my heart watching that LX450 flop. I'd want to cry if I did that to my 80. Nice clean looking frame and axles. Body swap time! Aqualu makes some killer options for the 80 chassis.
My biggest fear when off-roading, happy everyone is ok.
My biggest fear is landmines. It would ruin my dreams of professional riverdancing.
@@s.whitaker1120 lmao 😆
same, Ive been on the edge off rollovera and all you wana do is just make it out to the staging area and call it a day.
I've rolled 3 times now. First time a bridge gave way and I ended up upside down in a creek. Second time I was perched on a log waiting for the vehicle in front of me to clear the obstacle, gave it to much loud pedal going over, kicked the rear out sideways and went on my side. Last time I was in a tight spot, truck climbed the wall on the passenger side and over I went. None were fun, but the last was the softest by far, lol
I can relate to a side flip or two in 4×4s worse flops in tracked vehicles. M113a2 sliding off side hill in training then coming to abrupt stop. Thankfully not all way over.
In the event that the car has capsized and you want to start the engine, the spark plug must be dismantled before starting to clean it of oil .. Followed from Saudi Arabia to your wonderful channel
Toyota dont care, it just runs 🤘🤘🔥
@@NorthJorgie89 I have had 2 surfs, they just keep running.
Why? it'll clean itself after a few seconds of smoking. Just check fluids and start it up if there's oil in the right places, there's gonna be oil in some wrong places but it'll clear out after a short while.
I bumped starter made sure it was'nt hydro locked
Wasn't over long enough for it to be a big issue.
Nice to see you guys out having some great fun. Hope you all are staying safe! Thank you everyone, I enjoy the videos very much. Keep em coming….. Jim PS safety first!
Glad everyone was ok!! Guess that wasn't the right line to take.
I think the Banana saved it from being worse!
I can’t get enough of this channel !
I live in South Florida but I hope to take my Tacoma out west and experience some off-road adventures.
Thats what you call rocking and rolling.
Lucky Matts Jeep was there, or they could've rolled right down the hill.
That's what I was thinking. It could have turned bad real quick. Quick thinking save by Matt.
Yup it wasn't bad luck it was actually good luck, could turned out real bad!
God Bless Toyota for making that roof strong! With the added weight of the tires and off-road equipment, it did an amazing job keeping everyone safe! Gald to see everyone was uninjured.
So a radiator roll bar is now on the list of needs for the “extreme”
Roll bar? Shit, roll _cage._ 😂
That's only if that roofline can be straightened up enough to even accept another windshield, in all seriousness.
Jaimie's Always on point! "Matt remember this is a work vehicle!!!"
Thank goodness Matt was there he was one of the first people to get to them and he is always so calm
Sucks that it happened, but it makes for good content. My heart started thumping when it started tipping.
I wondered about some of those “Tall” 4x4’s when it comes to that kind of fun stuff!
They’re top heavy pieces of shit!
Was wondering that myself. Looked like it tackled the other obstacles with relative ease though.
It all depends on the driver. The lady ruined a perfectly good suv. Although im pretty sure the engine is all good to go but the exterior got ruined.
So happy everyone was ok! I always learn something new when watching your videos. Things can go wrong so easily.
Matt, you've got a problem - with the Corvair rotisserie video and now this.. Brother, can you not keep a vehicle on its wheels? Cars keep rolling over on you!
