Bale’s trilogy had great villain and A class actors to play those villains that is all. If you give Ben Affleck one of those villains with the same writers and direction, he would by far have the best Batman movie to date.

The warehouse scene is THE BEST fight scene Batman EVER HAD in live action. Michael Keaton is the best live action Batman, imo.

I 100% agree with Jay! Even when I first saw it I thought "Ben Affleck was born to be an older Bruce Wayne but this movie doesn't make sense". Ben Affleck has the deminer of a rich white man but with a hidden depression and melencholy. Like he should be loving life but he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. The story line they picked was for an Older Batman. The comic book depicts an batman with a bit of grey in his beard. That's when Superman also breaks his back (even thou batman wins) then he retires!! Secondly watch Gone Girl, he literally looks like a rich man with a dual identity in that movie. The scene where he pulls up to that party in batman v superman in that vintage car was when I saw it. I agree fully

True. Nolan needs a better fight director to take over when hand to hand combat happens tho. Nolan is absolutely ass when it comes to that department.
He was the best looking Batman physically. Looked like he could walk into a room and fuck everyone up. You can’t put any of those other Batmen in that warehouse fight scene. Maybe Bale’s.
Christian Bale! I even like The Dark Knight Rises because it was part of the trilogy. Not the best but it was a better 3rd installment than a lot of others 🤷🏾♂️

I thought this was a pretty popular opinion? They made him suck in justice league (they made everybody suck in that movie tbh) but the BvS performance alone made him top 3 if not the best. It goes Affleck, Keaton, Bale, Kilmer, Clooney.

@@NotRJ001 Nah I'm still putting Affleck on top imo. Let's say you break batman down into three things:look, presence, and physicality/the way they fight. Keaton has look and presence but not physicality. His fights were meh. Bale has look and physicality but no real presence. He had it in the first movie when he was swooping people up in the docks and stuff but other two not so much. Affleck had all three. He looked like batman, he felt like batman, and he fought like batman.
