Probably not. A lot of the appeal of Westworld to the guests is its very adult nature. Lots of murder, rape and torture. Kind of the entire point of the park is that guests can go there to do the things they wouldn't dare do in real life. Which means either not faithfully adapting the concept of the show at all, or adapting it well but getting an 18+ rating, the harshest ESRB rating there is. There's just not enough of a market for that kind of idea to sell copies with an 18+ of rating.
Actually it was just one book before the movie. the novel for Jurassic park 2 was only written when Michael Chriton's agent pursuaded him to do it to cash in on the movie's success. If you've ever read the lost world novel, you can really tell the auther had NO INTEREST in the property and was just writing a potboiler. It's actually WORSE than the movie. Given JP2 isn't that good a movie, all I can say about the book is, don't bother.

I've been playing this quite a bit... And although the visuals are amazing, the dino behaviors are still lacking. They don't have good herding behaviors (no herd leader, wanders around individually, etc) and carnivores just slaughter other dinos even when not hungry... They seem to be stuck on roaming/hunting mode like sharks. Not quite worth the money yet imo.
