I still can’t believe this is the village theme. No village theme should be this good. Pokke and Seliana were the peak of village themes and this just surpassed the peak.
@@Daddydorfundso I know but what I mean is, in world the next monster you hunt usually halted your investigation process so you had to hunt it. In rise it's usually, "here is a list of monsters you can hunt to kill time while the npcs investigate the plot." I love Rise's gameplay, I just wish the player was more entangled in the plot. Great music and gameplay otherwise. Also World was my 1st monster hunter game so it kind of set the bar for me
Currently playing MH Rise since the PC release. Call me a weeb or whatever but is definitely my favorite village theme out of all the games. They nailed the whole Japanese theme of this game.

Cool how parts of the theme are from Yukumo theme. Really makes the two villages feel connected. One is a village of samurai, the other of ninjas, soooo coool. I swear, if the new Village of Rise G is not a remastered Yukumo I'll be mad.
Bold of you to assume there will be a rise G and not an expansion. But according to ichinose in the last interview it is likely that yukumo and Kamura are fairly close in distance, being that areas like the flooded forest are in rise, so while yukumo will not actually make an appearance(again according to ichinose) there are many many connections in their cultures
Ive played every entry since 4u and after Val Harbor Kamura def feels the most nostalgic. Rise in general was the perfect blend of new gen and old school mon hun for me - despite it being the latest entry Im already very nostalgic for it... more so then for world or Iceborne
Started playing Rise today on PS5. I started with World long ago and hated it, but I still wanted to try to get into the other Monster Hunter games. From this theme alone, I already don't regret my purchase. I'm absolutely digging the Japanese style of it all.
This music might be the only reason why m seriously considering buying this game..... (never played any monster hunter except mhfu in good old psp back in the day)

I just started playing Monster Hunter for a week, and now I'm a fan of the series. I tried Generations on Switch but I didn't fully get the gameplay, hence that I stopped and despised MH for a while. When Rathalos appeared in Smash, I wasn't excited because I didn't like MH. But when I tried Rise for the first time on my Switch as of last week, I was immediately hooked and knew how to play the game. I give MHR an A- out of a S rank.

Playing the demo was very frustrating for me at first. I found the game extremely complicated and almost quit altogether. However, I got the sense that it was special and worth the effort. I wanted to give the game a fair chance, so I decided to be patient and persistent in learning the controls, and familiarizing myself with the numerous menus. After countless attempts, the sense of accomplishment I got from finally defeating Mizutsune for the first time was enough to make me want to buy the full version of the game. Rise was my first Monster Hunter game, and I'm very glad that I bought it. I've played it around 300 hours now, and I'm looking forward to the Sunbreak expansion. P.S. The first 100 hours of gameplay really flew by.
Heather Gonzalez is the English voice actress for the singer.. Capcon then used her to voices for female characters as DLC... Cause of this I happily bought the voice pack. My female hunter has her voice and I'm super proud of it.

As a Hunter who grew up in Kokoto Village, it's fascinating to see more people joining as new generation hunter.
Kamura already feels like home because of this theme!
