Because of Monster Hunter Now, Magnamalo is now my favorite monster. But damn, when he starts going hellfire... I'm not pleased. XD

So I recently went to Master Rank and thought "Hey, I could upgrade my Elder Dragon weapons, it shouldn't be too hard" And as someone with poor internet connection, I tried doing it solo. I was SORELY mistaken. I was one cart away from failing and for the first time since I picked up Monster Hunter, I actually used Farcasters.

What's crazy is I came across Magnamalo, and had my trouble fighting him. Fainted all three times and couldn't find him after that. The moment I had an urgent quest to fight him, i was like "it's time" because i was very new to the game, so now that i have become more experienced, fighting him was so epic!

Hinoa and Minoto reminded me of The Shobijin, Mothra’s fairies from Godzilla.

I remember fighting magnamalo for first time, it felt like I'm dueling instead of hunting and i almost failed on my urgent quest like 2 times. but it's worth a try!! i loved that fight so much.

You should make one adding Frontier's too, G-Rank desert theme goes soooo hard

figth against it in village 5 star, defender charge blade II, and the initial armor no food, no buffs, no items aside the ones from the mission chest... what a pain for days, but the best feeling of victory after all the suffering

man why do the desert themes always go so much harder than any of the other area themes

My first fight with this monster became one of my favorite battles in my MH history. I knew I had to hunt it because of watching some online videos, but nothig prepared me for what a demon it was. I went straight for the new monster icon on the mini map and dismouted from my palamute, walked into its range of aggro and anime style, unsheathed my Dual Blades, and entered the Demon mode. Magnamalo wasted no time in charging towards me, so I rushed to meet it in combat and dodged right to avoid an attack from its claws. My response was a swift assault on its exposed side. Both of us became like primordial forces, locked in a fated battle. Our attacks were like the sun and moon fighting for the domain of the skies above, and like the sun I rose to claim my triumph over our first battle.

of all the monsters ive fought in both rise and sunbreak, malo is one of the few that i ALWAYS took every precaution for when fighting it for the first time in a new rank. samurai pizza cat does NOT play around

In Generation all village theme became one except MHW/MHRS

my last village before MHW was Yukumo and now it's japanese theme again, it's very disappointing

Brought into the Monster hunting world in Kokoto, and have been traveling to every village since. All of them hold a place and era in my heart. Loved the series since 2004 and I hope it never ends for me or for anyone else. Remember, there are hunters THEN there are MONSTER HUNTERS!!

Ive played every entry since 4u and after Val Harbor Kamura def feels the most nostalgic. Rise in general was the perfect blend of new gen and old school mon hun for me - despite it being the latest entry Im already very nostalgic for it... more so then for world or Iceborne

I fought magnamalo so many times, that its theme i remember most from rise. When it showed up in that story fight and I mounted it. This didnt feel like magnamalo's theme, instead I legit got hyped up as if it was the hunter's theme

Still think 3U /Tri had the best music in the series.

Bro I already feel nostalgic to Kamura village theme cuz Im now in sunbreak in elgado and now I miss this theme cuz it reminds me of elder Fugen, master utSushi, hinoa and minoto and lori and hammon 😭😭😭

3 years later and I still don't know what to make of this guy. He's undoubtedly cool and has a great theme, his armor sets all look fantastic and his Scorned version is a great fight. But he also aesthetically seems to not fit very well, going so hard on the samurai look that he looks less like a theoretically possible creature and more like a monster in the most traditional sense, on top of having essentially no presence within the game proper outside of his two appearances that are rapidly resolved and forgotten about. I feel like they fumbled Magnamalo in a few ways that detract from him harder than any other flagship monster.
