Hey man awesome stuff! Are you using a GoPro? Would really like to know what your camera setup is.. also are you getting a board feed to record the audio of the gig to add to the video?
If you're ever on a boat again and feel seasick, go to the back of the boat, look at the horizon, put some pressure on your wrist (where you feel your pulse) and the sick feeling will gradually disappear.
I`m looking for a training to see if I`m still able to play. Bought a simple Roland Td-1K E-Drum to find that out. After more than 250 broken bones (yes, it`s Glasbones condition) this is my last attempt to try to play drums again - with age 48....... Also I never could really master fast Double Bass. Maybe should try this heel technic I`ve heard about?!

I was there, it was fucking epic, I was actually the official guitarist onboard the Carnival Magic, we didn’t play that week because of the festival, so I got to see a lot of amazing bands and be paid to do so. One of the best experiences of my life. Me and some of my bandmates were listening to 5 or 6 shows a day during the entire week. Great channel, keep the good work!
So I'm a DJ and today I'll play my first real set with a medium audience, I was nervous about it until I heard what you told to Poggi. I'll do my best and I'll stop thinking about making a mistake!
24:58 The beat where you hit the bell of the hi hats is so sick. I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually do that in context of a full song, especially in a heavy one.
I have to admit prior to Oct 1 2023 I never heard of "I Prevail", but they were one of the opening acts for Godsmack and rocked the house for sure. High energy, High output from these guys!! The narration and video from the POV are outstanding!! Thank You!!
That pep talk was very nice of you to do. The way you didn't hesitate to speak to him about it was amazing. I can't say for sure what Poggi was feeling, but I've been there too. So, anxious that my hands were shaking a minute before I performed my piano piece (which uses my hands lol), I found that it wasn't as bad as it seemed. I'm very sure that reassured him, way to go Gabe!
Love your videos dude. Not only do I enjoy the POV of playing in a concert but I love the "in-between" POV stuff to make the music happen. Anticipating the show, setting up, getting pumped up before running out there, rocking your balls off, running off stage, unwinding... Just musicians having a good time and working hard. Living my dream.

So stoked to finally see this. Spent all week showing the previous other shows to friends and family. Holy cow was this episode was a rollercoaster of a ride and emotions. I can't imagine what it was like for you. Also, please never take away the pre-show ritual from these. They're amazing to see truly how humble and nerdy you all are in the best way. Hope you had an excellent vacation.
at least you can say that when it comes to stressful situations you are calm, and ready to take action, must have felt like a movie scene jumping out of the van
Love your POV, I don't usually watch ~25min+ video but I never skip these one ! Watching you play live like that motivates me to keep drumming. Keep rocking 🤘
I like his thought hacks, lol. Like changing from "I wanna be in a band" to "I want to play drums live". It changes your entire approach. And the "think youre gonna make a mistake but it will be okay" is EVERYTHING!!!
"Get out of the mindset of 'I hope I don't make a mistake...'. Get in the mindset of 'I'm gonna make a mistake and it's gonna be totally fine" I've been playing guitar since I was 6 or 7 years old and played in a few bands with Pogis mindset. But just what you've said, that's really inspiring for me, because otherwise I was always afraid of making mistakes. But you're right. It doesn't matter whether you're a world-class musician, a hobby musician or in a school band. Because they all have one thing in common: they are all just human, and humans make mistakes, which is the most human thing of all. Thank you for your words. Stay well!
Dude is a very encouraging band leader!!! This type of encouragement brings great cohesiveness to a band which results in tighter and enjoyable gigs!!!
Old dude here. I've liked a couple of your songs when I've heard them. After watching this, I'm a big fan now and the songs hit so hard live. Keep on truckin'
Man, your videos inspire me so much. I play guitar, but because of you I started a metalcore band and I really just hope one day I can tour like you :D
Man, I always knew you were a great drummer, but watching these POVs makes me realize how incredible you are. So clean and on point with every hit. Making super technical parts look simple. Your kit sounds great too!
I love love these POV videos! I was holding my breath for Poggi, but he did awesome 🤟😎 Thank you so much for taking us with you and the band + team on your jorney 🙏 What an unique way to follow you guys.
The most epic thing about this boys is the shuttle sitch when you bailed out of the van!!!!! THAT is THE best conversation starter for a 2024 podcast!!!! Great to see you're showing real life within the band and what happens that not everyone sees! All the best!!!!!
I watch your videos every time and i go through all thinking "wow i want to be there so bad", you make me feel the same emotion when I play live, I'll work hard to get there and maybe one day be where you are now, keep uploading💪

Great story, and to end it with a show like that, feeling like I'm sitting right behind the drums playing them. That's some top notch story telling right there bro. Good stuff! Truly
Yes, i would love a full POV of Hurricane. I haven't bien drumming for over a decade, but hearing your drum part on this song made me want to play again because of how fun it sounds to play it.

I really thought you dudes were getting snagged in that van. This was cool to watch, though. And Gabe, I know a lot of people have been telling you this, but your drumming has come so far man. Seriously, your playing is extremely tight and accurate. It's been cool to see.

You seem to be genuinely nice guy. I’m glad today’s musicians seem to be more interactive with the fans. Pure anxiety watching this video!!! Played on a rock cruise where the playing conditions were almost identical to this!!! Instead of cancelling our second show outside, they decided to put us on an inside stage, while the ship was swaying, ON THE TOP LEVEL! I was falling off the drum throne, and both my guitarist and bassist both got seasick while we were still playing!!! Glad you made it through, and we’re able to enjoy your vacation afterwards!
