🔴 Ukraine War Update - 🇺🇦 Sniper Scope Cam • Leopard/Bradley Assault Meets 🇷🇺 Lancet & FVP Drones ++
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 вер 2024
- Hello and welcome to yet another Ukraine war update where we take a closer look to explain a number of recently released videos from Ukraine including a Ukrainian sniper scope cam, Ukrainian Leopard 2 and Bradley assaults in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia front that meet Russian Lancet & FVP Drones, what Russian outlets had to say about this operation, a new released video by the 3rd Seperate Assault Brigade from their offensive south of Bakhmut, Ukraines current dealings with the issue of anti-air and electronical warfare systems and more.
The reason I put this video together is same like with all the previous Ukraine war updates. Footage from Ukraine floods our social media feeds daily but the footage often lacks any further information or context. Even mainstream media outlets often get things wrong as I mentioned in the video. Thats why I added commentary to the footage to bring you at least a little bit further context to the videos.

Just a few things. First sorry for repeating myself at 6:54 I added the part after the video was done and forgot that I already mentioned it before. At 9:27 I meant would instead of will and at 9:43 I meant barrel and said bucket instead. Sorry for this small mistakes. I know many people told me before that they do not care about such small things but I really want to be as accurate as I can even with the limited means and gaps I have. Thank you for your support.
i think you are great and yr english is superb. how many languages do you speak ?? (i speak 3 including japanese and korean ) i used to teach english.

You were right, a ton of non sense comments
I am floored repeatedly by your respect and professionalism.
Too many immature reporters when it comes to combat footage.
You are filling a much needed niche, keep it up.
Good video. As a retired military veteran with 27.5 years of service I thought the commentary was balanced. Whenever an army is faced with a defense in depth like the Ukrainians are facing it’s bloody slow going. As for tank losses, the average life expectancy of a U.S. tank crew in Germany in 1945 was about 5 weeks and ATGMs and drones have changed that dynamic by light years. The fact that the Ukrainians do not have ATACMS and air superiority dramatically complicates offensive combined arms operations.
Yea, russia is also not happy not to use uranium and plutonium rounds they have. Send-
В 1945 г танковый экипаж американцев 5 дней жил из-за того что во вторую мировую воевал с немецкими подростками и стариками а не с эсесовцами и это факт
It is too late for long range missiles. Every time Ukraine launches a missile, Russia launches kamikaze drones and missiles, so missiles launchers last nothing
The Ukrainians had Tochka U which had the same capabilities as ATACMS, and what good did those do them?
было бы интересно посмотреть на американские танковые экипажи в 41-42 годах .. Но к сожалению они отсиживались в кустах и ждали

Thank you for showing both sides of this conflict. We can all have a side we back, but I think we can all agree its important to not get stuck in an echo-chamber and see everyone's perspective.
Judging by the late silence of news from the front by CNN, Fox, BBC and other NATO propaganda outlets, the things must not be going so well for the Ukraine right now
@@mikes989 True, but he's realized he can get a bigger audience by catering for both sides and still come off with some moral high ground when the mainstream western media comes out with the truth.

What people in the US don't get is that Russians and Ukrainians are essentially the same people, there is no difference. Casting one as heroes and the other as villains, one as supermen and the other as idiots makes no sense. They have both the same strengths and the same weaknesses, only one country is much larger and richer.
Don't forget one thing. This isn't only a video for UA-cam. Future generations also gonna watch this video, don't screw it up.
Both sides, no judging. Only show how war looks like, for our's son and their's sons.
Thank you.
That last video: for an infantryman, a ride is a ride. Anything that gets you where you're going and off your feet for 10 minutes is heaven. Some of my best memories from my time in the army are from the back of Unimog transport trucks and army buses, but I've also ridden trailers, towed artillery and the outside of 4x4 vehicles. I never got a ride on a plow, but if it had been offered, I've have taken it.
I Have my favorite Ukrainian biased analyst channels. I am natrually biased as my great grandparents emigrated from Ukraine to Canada. My son lives in Ukraine. I come here for balance. I'm not afraid to see Ukrainian losses. We don't need things sugar coated.. Slava UkrainI!
At the end of the day it is always easier to point out that Ukraine's counteroffensive is slow, than it is to assault positions yourself. I'm very much just a theorist but I understand that wars take time, lives, countless amounts of material, even if the Ukrainian gains right now are less than maybe hoped for, the material 'we' sent will surely go a long way in also holding off Russian advances.
Oh and don't beat yourself up over the Russian footage, you're doing a journalist's job essentially, you offer footage from both sides to offer a perspective that is as unbiased as possible, if people don't get that, that's their issue. A war is fought by 2 sides afterall.
Those lives lost are a price you are willing to pay, huh?

8:47 to the end, right on. It's always possible for the victor to "win the war, but lose the peace" for any number of reasons. Ukraine, and everything West and North of Ukraine, is no exception.
Keep the vids coming..you are right we need to know both sides of this war.and abilities of both sides.
Absolutely.
Perfect documentary! I like how impartial he is so we can see both faces of the war!
The biggest reoccurring mistake I see from these videos is the misapplication of Bradley's use. A Bradley used solely for troop carrying and support fire is wrong. Without air superiority they need to field a wheeled or tracked vehicle with the sole purpose of drone interdiction. If on the rare occasion of armor on armor engagements the Bradley must be paired with an M-1 to form a hunter-killer team. Bradley's optics are better than an M-1's so it's "spot and Kill". Also a Bradley may engage with it's TOWs then back behind the M-1 for a reload then back forward to spot or shoot.
They don't have any Abrams right now so they can't really do that.
They have MBT's that would do.
Agree its no being used as intended but it's the best armored troop transport. You wouldn't want to go to action in any of the other carriers.
Edit: MRAPs are good too but not much firepower.
@@bonedoc4556 eh, they don't have enough western ones at the moment and I wouldn't trust any Soviet models which they have a lot more of right now. Surely it's better to use the Bradleys for now rather than leave them gathering dust.
The big mistake they're doing with them is not using them at night. The night vision and thermal capabilities on their Bradley are some of the best in the industry and can spot and fire on targets kilometers away they can use it for cover fire on Infantry that are moving up along with apc' and other Soviet tanks I wouldn't go forward with the new tanks just yet they need more mine clearing capabilities and mobile AA like the Avenger

Excellent presentation. Just the facts man. I agree that most of the RF MoD videos do not show the aftermath of the Lancet strikes on W. armor, so we don't really know what happened to each of those struck mechanized armored pieces, and more importantly their crews. The fog of war obscures such knowledge. Continue your videos, we all need to know what's happening and tally the true costs of this horrible war.

Revealing videos and commentary, thank you WarLeaks. I'd be very interested to see footage of a Russian cluster bomb strike to see how it compares to the American cluster bomb.
American cluster munitions have an incredibly low dud rate of only 2% whereas Russian ones have a ridiculously high dud rate of 40%. Meaning SIGNIFICANTLY more people in the future are going to impacted by unexploded Russian cluster bombs than US ones.
Every time you deliver insight and awesome footage! keep going on!
Thanks for your insights
I love how you present both perspectives. Keep doing the same! Ignore the supporters of any faction asking you to focus only on Happy paths. People need to know the story of both faces of the coin.
This is great info for both sides
Those "western military analysts" critizing the Ukrainian offensive (however few there are, at least from my perspective) probably take a military doctrine that's rooted in the 80s and never saw drones etc., combine it with an army of professional soldiers (or whatever they hope how their soldiers will perform), forget Ukraine doesn't have the air assets built into NATO doctrine and mix it with the russian army incompetence of the early invasion and: voila! Ukraine should be in Moscow in three days!
Don't get me wrong: (western) militaries should *carefully* scrutinize what Ukraine's army is doing and provide improvement options with the advantage of hindsight. But the ultimate reason why the Ukrainian counteroffensive isn't as swift and successful as hoped lies purely with "the West": UAF asked for X at time T. The West decided X/2 is enough and until the UAF can actually use it, it's T+10. As incompetent as the russian army sometimes is: *of course* they'll adapt. In that vein, it's awesome we telegraph F-16s a *year* ahead of arrival. Just awesome. I mean: WTF? Why should anybody be surprised this war is more expensive for *everyone* than had we just committed ourselves. So sad.
P.S.: sorry for the rant, but this just trips me. Leaving an army without any capabilities e.g. against air assets and then complaining why they lose the kit you provided them. Lo and behold: mostly because of enemy air assets. It's just ridiculous (though not even close to a majority opinion ATM). Our risk-aversity has simply gone too far.
It's like: FFS, A saying: "I gave you an *awesome* sword! How could you have lost to your opponent?"
B: "Because he had a gun!"
A: "Enough with the excuses, it's clearly your strategy that's at fault!"
Well, if you ar not only capable of analyzing then maybe you can try to push those whom you voted to push the goverment to provide more to Ukraine - like jet fighters, or at least rockets of longer range or smth
@@ab181139 don't you think I'm not trying to? If it was my choice...
But generally yes: I think we all should try to push our governments to do more.

@@ab181139 Sorry, now I'm thinking I totally misunderstood - sorry, English is not my native tongue. No need to thank, I'm sincerely of the opinion we (that includes me) should do more. I think it's shameful for the whole "West" to discuss when and how F-16s can be supplied (or that Germany doesn't want to supply Taurus) while we can clearly see what our dithering with tanks/IFVs caused - the death of many Ukrainian soldiers (and for those who still have empathy left for russians: even of their soldiers).
I appreciate your reporting in a balanced way.

and please go on with showing ukrainian AND russian videos as well. a war is always fought with at least two sides, so...
A drones job is to disable a tank or vehicle first and foremost. Any retreating survivors can be taken out with the help of petal mines that can be deployed remotely. The vehicle in question can then later be finished off with artillery. In other words, Lancet is here to disable, not kill.
As a side note, i do see the incorrect use of Bradleys. They have top of the line thermal and night vision optics, so night strikes are a must, not day strikes like this.
Good stuff!!!
Excellent video telling both sides of the story
Great job..
Dude, I really appreciated your commentary around 10:00 and on. Declaring that a simplistic view of "Russia stronk" / "Ukraine stronk" is inaccurate will surely alienate a lot of armchair generals. But it's so enderaring to those who come here for plain footage of tactics and hardware as never seen before, in full appreciation that everything about ongoing war is layered and ambiguous.
Understandable mistake to make, but the APCs in the beginning are dutch YPRs and not M113s. They look fairly similar at a glance and YPR isn't nearly as common or famous in the world as M113 but at 1:05 you clearly see the distinct shape
"Paying a high price for every meter gained" is the same as saying they are losing. Ukraine can't replace the equipment or soldiers as easily as Russia.
Not true, Russian bot. Western defense manufacturers still have access to technology and resources. Russians have access to what? Iranian technology? Plus Russian economy isn’t big enough to replace equipment at the rate it’s getting destroyed
u get it wrong .. ukraine can replace equipment a lot easier than russia ... with soldiers it's different .. training new soldiers takes time
u need to find out how many new tanks russia produced in last 8 years .. upgrading existing tank is not same as producing new one
Its good that you talk about both sides keep up the good work
Militaries not criticising their mistakes is part of what lead russia into such disastrous results, we don't want that happening to Ukraine.
Only channel I've found that isn't blatantly extremely biased. Thank you.
good reporting keep going , only a view of both combatants tells the truth
As an armchair general I'm asking: would it be better to wait for a stormy day to conduct the assaults? Drones are crazy important but really struggle in windy conditions.
Yes, it definitely would be, but it goes both ways. Ukraine, as we’ve seen, is heavily reliant on drones for both recon/scouting, delivering payloads to groups of infantry or light armor, artillery, and battle damage assessment. I feel like poor conditions for Ukraine’s drones would make it too difficult to go up against a heavily fortified defensive line. Going up against stationary defensive weapons like ATGMS without drones, that can work just fine in bad weather would probably be disastrous. Just my guess, I could be wrong
War is paid with lives and blood so we have to be realistic rather being brainwashed by one way propaganda which is boring and sometimes unconstructive. I applause you showing the points fo view from both sides so we all could learn.
Ukraine blunted then defeated the Russian armor thrusts into Kyiv mainly by mine fields, AT weapons, drones, arty, and valorous infantry. The Russians adapted and are now using the same tactics. Electric warfare EW and other hitech hardware are also applied with the West has an edge if supplied, trained, and used properly. Remember, this is constant changing, adapted and adpoted and improved on both sides. So do not expect easy outcomes until some breakthrough down the grinding and difficult roads .
