- So it was another mixed up grid, but another Verstappen win as he made it 5 in a row at Monza! That said it was a much more exciting grand prix, and race weekend on a whole this time round, so here are my thoughts!

Ok 👍👍👍
Do we all collectively realize that Nyck De Vries has now officially made it the SECOND TIME this season that Latifi will be ranked 21st in driver standings? He drove for one (race) day and has more points than Latifi has gotten all season. All Season....Talk about comedy!
Mazepin was protecting his sorry ass.
Ironic when this is probably the first and only time Nyck will be 21st on standings.
Goatifi has just done the impossible once again, he goes even beyond the last place in championship standing.
🤣
For the second time this season Latifi finds himself 21st in a 20 car championship. He’s redefining the boundaries of the sport😂
DeVries just signed King Latifi's resignation letter and let's it Mick doesn't follow him as well.
It's like MAZ last season, 21st in the championship in a field of 20 cars.
@@albrechtjohnj now image if Hulkenburg does another race and scores points. 22sd in a field of 20 cars
This channel has great writing, but should have spent more time on De Vries!
Really nice of Latifi to give De Vries his points for this race.
Yea the goat thought he’d bring de vries in easy sure…
He is Canadian after all
Unfortunate that Daniel has found his 2018 Renault engine towards the end there, but yet another well deserved win for Verstappen and another case of Ferrari finding out their tires are actually made out of cement.
Red bull had Renault engines back then? Thats why he really left Red bull
@@mikeytreg1081 RedBull did have Renault engines back then
I was just joking around here since their 2018 engines loved to lose power
@@mikeytreg1081 he left red bull because uncle marko liked verstappen more than daniel
Nyck joining the point scoring rookies club. YES!
he did a fantastic job today!
2021 - "No Mikey, noooooo"...!
2022 - FIA, "uhhh, give us a minute or two/three"... 🤣
This guy should be recruited by FOM. Not only he is much more talented than the official hosts, but he’s also faster in getting the videos out.
Hahaha appreciate it man
Vettel looking at his 9 race wins in a row record being under threat from Verstappen
Still needs 4 to tie and Singapore will be more of a challenge most likely.
@@Gl-my8fwI happened to come across this comment and damn that aged well
@@wassapdude94 I love when that happens. Last year I had a comment about the money Aston was spending and that they could be better than 80% of teams in the future.
If de vries actually gets an f1 seat sometime I’d be more happy than when it was announced ricciardo was leaving mclaren
Can't te if that's a Daniel or McLaren insult
Devries drove a very clean calm race should be in latifis seat alongside albon
If that happens I hope Williams gives them a more competitive car to work with next year. Albon and De Vries a good enough drivers to regularly score points in a halfway decent ride.
The Hannah - Alpha Tauri segment was absolutely ace
Marshall's use of the force to move the car. Excellent a true LOL for me
Your faster than lightning
haha thanks man!
@@FP1Will well, not slower than the GOAT..🤣
the moment Leclerc got pole I knew Max will win the race...
Ladies and Gentlemen, Wills' FP1 GP Comedy Reviews. The absolute best way to close a racing weekend! Well done man. Thank you!
Thank you man!
@@FP1Will Dude you deserve it all since day one.
I do genuinely love the Haas Watch theme song but I also think it overstays its welcome at 30 seconds. IMO 10 seconds is even too long its the video equivalent to a safety car, super exciting until it stays too long.
Albon actually experienced respiratory failure from the anesthesia. He's OK now but very scary stuff.
Mick was low key impressive that weekend
Didn't have a full practice session wuth sitting out FP1, and engine and gearbox problems in FP2 and 3, had to give Kevin a slipstream in quali and still was 1 tenth off, and then finishing 12th in the slowest car this weekend lets be real, while Kevin was last, he was half a second quicker than him at some stage, without any practice this is really impressive in a car thats so slow on the straights
but Gunther will still say Mick's not good enough and sack him
@@Wizzkidwas yep, like him saying that he isn't consistent but meanwhile he is quicker than Kevin since Silverstone with the exception of France but apart from that he has been quicker every race
@@jorisfries7595 And pretty much everything that could have gone wrong for Mick has, especially those out of his control
@@Wizzkidwas yeah nearly every weekend something happens which isnt his fault, i am a massive Mick fan but he hasnt been good ubtil Canada, i mean he was bad, but since that quali in Canada he has been really impressive and apart from Austria and Silversone it was unnoticed i think because so much went wrong or the car just wasnt quick
@@jorisfries7595 I would argue his only low points this season has been his crashes, the rest ranging from mediocre to amazing
Lol, Will called Renault competent. Not since the early Lotus days has that team functioned not dysfunctionally
Still operated better than Ferrari currently
agreed, it's just embaressing to see a team with such good drivers and such a good car goof up time and time again.
Something has to chance in the team leadership at Ferrari
Way to go Nyck!! Great drive!! Dang, I'm a Max fan but I kind of wanted Charles to win this one. Danny Ric.... zero luck. George is showing again he's not going to be a wingman. Checo being average. I hope Herta gets his chance.
Are you planning on doing an Indy 500 type video for the v8 Bathurst 1000 that is coming up soon?
He should. I myself signed up for the streaming service the Bathurst 1000 is available on in the US just so I check that race out this year.
10:17 i was in a discord server talking in the last couple of laps and all of us there screamed at our tvs to red flag it, but cuz it's the FIA they didn't, it definitely would have been better than this ending under safety car.
Damned if you do damned if you don’t
You can't red flag the race simply because the car retired. There would have to a major crash for that to happen. You DTS mistakes of nature really need to have the rule book thrown at your face
@@Limegreenedragon they literally did something similar after Max crashed last year in baku dumbass, if its in a dangerous position then it should be red flagged, also my F1 following didn't start with DTS so stfu
Literally been looking forward to watching this all week! 100k won't be long now man
Thanks man!
Brilliant as always! And more so, since Ferrari didn't provide you with material like they have most of this season. Also, an entire race review with not a word about hashtag blessed? Who could've ever imagined that a year ago?
I always enjoy your work.
Just sorry I'm so late.
Keep up the great work.
All my best to you from SE British Columbia, Canada.
The way he delivered the aston/vettel line is gold
Even with the end result a weekend like this surely helps Danny Ric
I hope so 😅
Ah, the comeback of the classic Trulli-train
My favorite drivers are Lando Norris and Mark Webber, the start made me cry
amazing vid. just found your channel, so good. less weird cuts would be nice you have a great commentary voice and delivery
Thank you man!!
Seeing Daniel retirement thinking FP1 gonna light this up , @#$😂😂😂😂
Wish you could add #blessed response to danny being a possible reserve driver in his team. His version of saying no 🤣
Goatifi should technically be p22 in the wdc because he has the same best position as Hülkenberg and because hulk got it first he should be ahead.
Or because Hulk got it in a helluva lot fewer races. Either way works. I just want to see Latifi be 22nd.
Hopefully hulk will come back to chaos and a podium, with latifi getting no points. That would set things right
Amazing how you produce these so quick! Been enjoying these a lot recently, I like how they've recently become more of a balance between humour and a race review too :)
As for the ending... F1 should be a sport not a TV show, and that means that sometimes we might get an anticlimax with the way the rules work. I get that it is disappointing, but, well, yeah. we shouldn't bend the rules for an artificial ending.
I can't remember this amount of reaction to, say, Brazil 2012 ending under a Safety Car. So let's all be reasonable... Please?
"moving de car using the force" hahaha, good one...
F - ing McLaren could not handle Riccardo having pace which makes their axing look worse so they changed his rear wing after Q3 with a older heavier one which just screwed the overall dynamic of the car and yeah Riccardo. Biggest bunch of see you next Tuesdays!
Hell yeah, Haaswatch is back!
Clear , concise and to the point..
Great work as always 👊🏼
Thank you!
Is there gonna be a Laguna Seca comedy review? It was the last indy race
That was a pretty good race with Newgarden charging through the field. Will Power certainly isn't my favorite driver but given how good he's been for so long he absolutely deserved to win a second championship.
Also, how funny is it that NASCAR has to create a confusing, contrived and annoying "playoff" to have the championship come down to the last race when that just naturally happens in Indycar every year?
Nick was awesome. Latiffi, not so much.
I mean, Williams were surprisingly good this race. That, and, you know, Ferrari were screwed no matter what
F1 should maybe try the green and white checkered flag rule from nascar
Honestly ferrari strategy wasnt too ass. Think only pitting sainz at the end
Imagine De Vries and Max in the Red bull,It will be double Dutch Trouble for the other teams
De Vries showed skill today, but lets not act like he'd be better than Checo. He would almost certainly struggle against Verstappen.
@@neverenoughgames72 he scored 9th place in the worst car on the grid
@@Deltaexe190 Worst car over the season (as of today), yes. Worst car on Monza? No. He was very impressive, but its absurd to start hyping him up to replace Perez. He should replace Latifi immidiatly, and start matching Albon, maybe even beating him. Then we can talk about moving up.
5:01 it felt really really good!
Finally made the live start lol
eyyy congrats!
Amazing job by Nyck.
Yes, just a red flag if the race has less than 6 laps to go and you would otherwise have a full safety car. What's hard about that?
Baku 21 was like that. Why can't they do the same?
@@pavise6333 because there are also rules regarding red flags, they can’t just whip one out without probable cause
They could had 2 green flag lap (essentially making it Green-White-Checkered situation). It was marshalls and FIA fault on that one.
There are rules regarding Red Flag. In 2021 Baku VER slammed his car into the safety barrier. Race cannot be resumed until safety barrier is repaired. It is a Red Flag situation - damage of safety barrier.
@@catchnkill Technically they could red flag the race. Remember there was a crane right in the middle of the track? If they try to prevent what happened to Bianchi, they could counter measure that probability of red flagging the race. And yeah for some reason the clean up of Ricciardo's car was slower than usual circumstances, which prevented any green flag restart.
they should have doe like nascar and do a green whit heckered with 2 laps remaining with endless restarts if needed
Wow I lo e the peeps who's first idea on how to fix anything is to completely destroy something they had zero part in creating, let's get back to sitting down and talking things out amicably, just a thought
Oh great video, I always enjoy them 👍🍻
That Glasgow rip killed me right away
Am I wrong tho?
Brilliant, just brilliant! Had me laughing out loud several times. 😂😂😂👍
Thanks man!
now im starting to think the 2022 cars ars decreasing the chance of wheel to wheel racing- almost.
No. There has been far more this year
Wonder cud you do a comedy review about A1 gp series 😂
What song do you use for Haaswatch?
The theme from springwatch 😊
Baku 2021 was a better approach to safety imo
What is the music you use for the Haas watch bit
It’s the theme from Springwatch
@@FP1Will ah of course it is
0:15 that's WTF1
Great videos
Thanks man!
I watched all eleven minutes of this. And paying attention.
Not that kind of speed haha wasn’t expecting that kind of joke haha
The race should be red flagged with less than 5% of the race distance left cars allowed to fuel for three laps with a rolling start
i always love it when f1 twitter contradicts itself.
How you gonna get fired on your day off tho?
Yey more f1 comedy review
The alphaTauri joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You’re welcome 😉😅😂
This race proved that the 2021 championship was won by Vertappen because of more Instagram subscribers and not because of FIA rules. Verstappen is the world champion of Instagram
He should complain about his tires more, and wear more interesting outfits to the track. That would better I think.
Wait how do you fit a cluch backwards
I don’t even know…
One of the best, I love it!!!
Thanks!!
When you feel comfortable dropping a like before pressing play.
Should have been red flagged full stop. Marshalls and machinery on the track with race cars should never happen. F1 knows the potential consequences.
Great review as always. You need a sponsor with initials FFS. And the return of Haaswatch as an added bonus.
I was at the race and no one was happy!
Yeah because it was a complete cluster management wise, jesus christ it was bad
0:08 your saying that as if that isn’t a normal thing
LETS GOOOO HAASWATCH IS BACKKKKK
Even goatifi and daniel ric can't beat rookie
Wow DeVeris performance this season has gone as well as a high speed train wreck.
09:15 - 09:21 the pain being Ricciardo fans
Welcome back old friend #HaasWatch
Hahaha, funny! Fun stuff!
I think we can all agree that Max has the championship won at this point
We knew that a month ago
@@arandomguy3288 we knew this after spain lets be honest...
He only needs 48 ish points in the next 6 races,, and can actually clinch in Singapore but it could be difficult probably needs a win and a Charles no points finish
@@FP1Will you’re not wrong
Guess whose back
Renault competent? Now that IS funny!

Nope. It used to just be "FP1".
Ferrari lost the only chance to fight max when thay pited charles early.
Change my mind

It’s back!!
Goat Vri
And still the blatant corruption continues
F1 Twitter fans have the memory capacity of a...... oooh shiny........ what was I saying.......

The race ending under safety car was a joke. They wasted so many laps.
bring Masi back....at least he did NOT finish behind the SC
Lmao 😂
I can already hear tables and headphones being destroyed
@@FP1Will Lol but ...but ...... I am serious....
@@davidvasquez08 Toto proof headphones is the answer....
A black comedy. Nothing to celebrate about the 100 years of Monza. The FIA governing body should fall on their swords; bring back Michael Masi. Let them race!!!!!! Time to weed out the wheat from the chaff. Put someone in there who can actually make a decision. Shame on the FIA. Total incompetence throughout the weekend.
Here's a better solution to not having safety car finishes: overtime. NASCAR is the only one to do this, and it does occur on a semi-regular basis, so that isn't a big proponent for having it anywhere else. Just think of Baku last year, and you'll see it might not be a truly terrible idea. That being said, I've got to go delete my account and live off the grid.
The cars may at that point run into issues with fuel. Fuel loads are calculated to the gram to make it exactly the distance they need it to + 1litre for testing. While yes cars use less fuel under safety cars, it could still lead to issues and do DQ of drivers.
fuel is the issue there
sad close to the race. Masi was right.
Comedy ? Where?
How is this a 'comedy review', just call it a review because its just not funny
he is trying so hard to be funny
