I was always scared of getting a run in the clear until I started watching gunman . Dry areas.. orange peel .. runs .. now I can lay clear .
I have the iwatta supernova, absolutely love it lays the clear out beautifully

Gunny got me hooked on iwatas, ended up purchasing the black mamba, the lotus ls400 and the hakone ws400. Sad thing is I haven't been able to paint for about 4 years due to military service

I use a WS400, really want to pick one of these up some day. I also just picked up a tekna pro lite but haven't used it yet so im waiting to see how i like it
I love my LPH80. Just dunk it on lacquer thinner after using, ready to go again after a day or two.

Beautiful job as always! I love my supernova and use it every day. I’ve played around with the pro lite and it absolutely smashes it on as well.

Holy CRAPP!! That thing slings clear for a minute I thought it was a SATA gun! I want a WS400 but the limited edition guns seem to have different letters than WS I don't know what they mean.
This lotus edition is crazy ! And the Painter too jeje 👏🏻👏🏻 Fantastic job ! And happy will be 1000 better times ! One question : vs Walcom 360 carbon 1.3 clear what do you think brother ? And Sagola 3300 gto car tech 1.3 ? I'm not expert but I wanna paint whith one 🔫 very good for my cars ...Thank you !

Ah!!! Common gunny, I’ve been looking at this spray gun for a while now. Many of the body shop here in Las Vegas sprays with Sata and scraping there Ws400. I asked and there ahh it’s ok man but I can’t tell from there face expression not a big fan of it. 1 guy was selling it for $250 bucks.

And a JGA boxed as new, that took bit of finding, none left in the UK, it came from Ireland 13 years old never been outta the box 😂

I just ordered a gallon kit of Speedokote clear off amazon. With the same brand name gloss jet black. Of course it will look this good with my husky(Home Depot)spray guns 😂

Dirk Diggler no, i must have missed it. wasnt sure how well that cheap shit holds up.
Trey Stults works fine for little projects. No yellowing. Little orange peal if you reduce it right. It does take a few days to cure all the way though
half clear on the panel , the other half in the booth air filters .... that gun is good to paint trains not cars

Would you say the lotus or any ws400 is better than a series 2 clear gun?
Is that the IWA 5926 model? I saw a base 1.3 and clear 1.3, what could be the difference if the tips are the same?

The gun may be a bit slower however that gives you more time to look at the sexy beast whilst you use it 👍
this clear very prone to orange peel and texture if sprayed under 28 degs celcius. no matter how much speedster additive you ad nor the application or spraygun setup or type. is also stone hard to polish and is not scratch resistant.

Hey Gunny, did you say your using the 1.3 HD or 1.4 with that lotus? I wanna say 1.3 if i remember. Great finish, i know the gun has the capability i just get tired of wondering what finish am i going to get today with it.

Makes it more rewarding when you crack it tho. I'll be doing a full follow-up review sooner or later, I want to see if I can get it as efficient as my pro lite, currently going through a bit more clear than pro lite.
@@TheGunmanRAW Sweet, i put it down for now . Playing with Sata 5k now, its really similar to tekna Prolite in how easy is to set up but uses more material imo. Not having a good luck with iwatas, maybe its me 😂🤣
Karol Pogorzelski I feel the same way about my iwata lotus ws400. I can get an ok finish on some panels but i feel its unpredictable sometimes i dont want to risk that. I just use my sagola 4600 and everytime no adjusting lays on like glass. It uses more material like your sata but i no i can count on it without having to adjust all the time.

Karol Pogorzelski I love the gun . I have the digital version and it does use a lot of material but it sprays so nice and lays down metallic awesome. I got this lotus edition ws400 Iwata because i heard it was such a great clear gun. Ive put down some nice finishes with it, but its just unpredictable . I guess i just havent found my sweet spot with it yet. It is a beautiful gun though

Nice video as always man, but this time audio sucks, we barely can hear what you are saying because of the surrounding noise and of course also because you are wearing a mask; maybe you can find a solution to improve the audio with a microphone inside your mask or an aftermath audio overlay; because in rest your videos are always top notch 👌
