Just having a new movement speed item in the white pool is huge, never mind just how good the antlers really are. I’ve been able to zip around every map way quicker than usual, which makes the game feel so much better.
I don't think the update ruined the game for very long tbh(once they bugs were fixed into a playable state) now I'd say it's pretty fixed, especially since elites and items are unavoidable now that they're fixed the game is as good as it ever was(minus some power creep)
I'm just glad that they fixed the twisted elites to actually not punish you for having items that make the game fun. I am not the biggest fan of getting my health blasted because I committed the biggest sin that is picking up chain lightning, gasoline, and missiles.
Launch scared me from playing for a while, but now that the items are fixed I'd like to think the DLC is on its way to become very remarkable, I'm very excited to see what the update for False Son Boss and Chef will look like
The dlc pre update wasn't that bad i had a lot of fun with friends people overreacted on a lot of it and now every item is really good which makes the game super easy

Just because you didn't find the update to be terrible doesn't mean everyone that did was overreacting.
