This month we are highlighting our Transformation Partnership with Shared Interest, an organization that we previously funded with a Featured Grant in 2020. Using an innovative loan guarantee program, Shared Interest helps to make the financial and banking industries more accessible to women and marginalized groups in Southern Africa.
Under our Transformation Partnership, we awarded a $39,500 Planning Grant for Shared Interest to conduct data collection in Malawi. The purpose was to help identify the most impactful ways to drive change in the financial system in support of economic equality for women entrepreneurs.
