July 18th, 2020 - 5 months after I made this video, I'm now "unofficially" a millionaire. I say "unofficially" because it's before TAXES. We'll see if I remain a millionaire after I pay those taxes, but just 5 months after this video was made, my plan worked. Everything in life is simple, and nothing is easy. It was a journey of learning, making money, being frugal, and saving just enough through my investments to take a risk. That risk paid off. If I kept going at my regular career where I was earning 60k per year, it would have taken me roughly 14 years to reach this point (assuming I saved 100% of my income which is impossible). More than likely, it would have taken me twice that long at almost 28 years. I did it here on UA-cam in 1.5 years. Not all of it was made because of investing, in fact, VERY little of it was. The investing part was the foundation that allowed me the freedom, and time, to do what I've always been passionate about. I'll be coming back to this video and updating this message. Yea actually he made his money completley differently, though obviously his course has probably overshadowed that now. His course actually helps alot of people though, becuase its not some get rich quick scheme its basic financial knowledge that we for some reason arent taught in highschool. So its actually useful to many people, it actually provides value.

I'm 68 years old I've been having fun watching all of these different young investors. When I was young no one told you about money but I figured out a lot of it as time went by. I was doing fine as a young entrepreneur until I got busted. So then I started to be legit and have a job. A painting contractor didn't save my money just had a lot fun for about 20 years. In the 90s I started buying Apple stock and by the year 2004 I had about 660 shares. The property that I live at which is four separate homes on a parcel came up for sale. The only way I could come up with the down payment was to sell the Apple stock. A year after buying the property I lost my leg in a motorcycle wreck. Put me in a huge financial hole. For 16 years all I was doing is paying off credit cards. I'm sure I must've paid them off at least three times. Had no money to invest but I paid all my bills and I still have my property. I'm no longer in debt but I did something really stupid and I looked up to see how much that stock that Apple stock would be worth now over 4 million. Yes I have the property but I'd be lucky to sell it and get $1 million out of it. Damn. Well I'm back to investing and starting late in life and being very proactive. Yes I want to make $1 million with my stock investments within three years. Anyway the moral is for all you young people the moral is invest and don't waste your time because you won't get the time back but perhaps I'll get the money back

Having things like a modest home, a decent car, college funds for the kids, some retirement savings, and enough to give money to charitable causes -- all without the worries of debt. None of these financial talking heads have all the answers. Not Dave Ramsey, not Graham Stephan, and not even Andrei Jikh.

I work at a student job about 16 hours per week and I’m always finding myself worrying about my money. I pay almost everything except rent and food because I live with my parents but I pay my school and every expenses around it. I dont have any debt but Im always short but I always have some money that I put aside for the future but I feel like its never going to grow big enough. I was wondering if you could do I video for younger people who makes less money then a normal person. I'm 68 years old I've been having fun watching all of these different young investors. When I was young no one told you about money but I figured out a lot of it as time went by. I was doing fine as a young entrepreneur until I got busted. So then I started to be legit and have a job. A painting contractor didn't save my money just had a lot fun for about 20 years. In the 90s I started buying Apple stock and by the year 2004 I had about 660 shares. The property that I live at which is four separate homes on a parcel came up for sale. The only way I could come up with the down payment was to sell the Apple stock. A year after buying the property I lost my leg in a motorcycle wreck. Put me in a huge financial hole. For 16 years all I was doing is paying off credit cards. I'm sure I must've paid them off at least three times. Had no money to invest but I paid all my bills and I still have my property. I'm no longer in debt but I did something really stupid and I looked up to see how much that stock that Apple stock would be worth now over 4 million. Yes I have the property but I'd be lucky to sell it and get $1 million out of it. Damn. Well I'm back to investing and starting late in life and being very proactive. Yes I want to make $1 million with my stock investments within three years. Anyway the moral is for all you young people the moral is invest and don't waste your time because you won't get the time back but perhaps I'll get the money back

The problem with Dave Ramsey is he's not wrong. He's just plays the least common denominator.
Even with the widespread knowledge and popularity of 401k and Roth IRA, according to the department of Labor, 95% of people can’t afford to stop working at age 65. Dave Ramsey is a gateway into financial education but he is far from the endgame. He plays to the lowest rung of financially knowledgeable people and he’s made a business out of it. That’s how he made his wealth.

Least common? I doubt it. How many American adults have a fully funded emergency savings account? And of those who don't have AT LEAST three to six months of expenses saved, how many have high interest debt like credit cards? My guess is that it's a lot more common than you would think.
Dave Ramsey doesn't teach how to get rich over night, he teaches very basic personal finance principles for the most common person- those who would be content in the economic middle class. Having things like a modest home, a decent car, college funds for the kids, some retirement savings, and enough to give money to charitable causes -- all without the worries of debt.
None of these financial talking heads have all the answers. Not Dave Ramsey, not Graham Stephan, and not even Andrei Jikh.
My point is just that Dave's main teachings, his 7 Baby Steps, work for a ton of people.
Successful people don't become that way overnight. What most people see at a glance wealth, a great career purpose is the result of hard work and hustle over time. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

Hey Andrei, Great video! I’m 18 years old and Im always wondering how can I make more money then others. I work at a student job about 16 hours per week and I’m always finding myself worrying about my money. I pay almost everything except rent and food because I live with my parents but I pay my school and every expenses around it. I dont have any debt but Im always short but I always have some money that I put aside for the future but I feel like its never going to grow big enough. I was wondering if you could do I video for younger people who makes less money then a normal person. I think that it would motivate younger person to start investing earlier because I just found out about it by searching by myself I know I’m searching on the how part.
