I ride my bike at night after work. These things are just randomly left all over the bike trails. They are hard to see. If i crash into one of them and 'hurt' myself, can i sue them too?

I've been riding horses my entire life, including a Shetland stud at age 4, and two of my favorite horses are "widow makers". My current horse sent three previous owners to the hospital for CT scans, and have been a skier since I was 8, and ski the blacks. I'm older than I look so all of this without helmets. So I'm no stranger to injuries. But, I got the worst injury of my life on a Lime scooter this summer. I ran over a twig and the front wheel slid sideways propelling me right at a retaining wall that I was closer to than I wanted to be because there was actual lanes for two-way traffic. I happened to be wearing actual safety sunglasses with the ANSI Z87+ rating for impacts. Those glasses are the best purchase I ever made. I hit that wall so hard that one of the lenses was concave when my husband picked up my glasses. I broke my eye socket, had double vision for nearly a month. I didn't sue, but I do think those scooters are more dangerous than people assume.

If anything I would sue the city of Denver for not enforcing the safety of the riders. I have fallen off scooters numerous of times because of the large holes and dips in the streets, once i had to abandon a scooter because while in the bike lane behind parked cars the driver swore he didn't see me all though I saw him in passing a few times on this same road, he turned right in front of me into a parking lot causing me to break hard hitting the corner of his car and I tucked and rolled the rest of the way down.
Well, you were warned before you input your credit card information of the risks. Now, they have your credit card information. That's all that matters to them. It's all a numbers game. The more people they cripple, the less crazy drivers there are to worry about on the road.
I would like to think most of what u said is true...but majority of the riders are on the scooters not paying thanks to Limes partnership with Denver county which allows ppl on government assistance to ride the scooters for free for 30 minutes at a time and u can get 10 free rides a day.

Lime tried to bull their way into Beverly Hills when I lived there (started renting scooters without city council authorization). Lime scooters piled up on sidewalks, making them dangerous and impassable especially in the dark and especially for the elderly. Beverly Hills city council sorted Lime out--this is a bad company that should be put out of business.
What cracks me up that ppl complain about having to go around the scooters in the walk way....Americans are just lazy af.....maneuver around them. Why is it so hard to encourage extra physical activities lol like them old folks could use the extra steps for the purpose of exercise but they happen to live in a country where the country rather sees u old and debilitated so u can count on the gov't for that small asz check and all ur other needs. Denver the city brought lime here...hell blame that rush of new commers to the city before the pandemic they wanted a more green way to travel around hints all these bike lanes. And manhole covers, and cracks, and dips, and uneven roads from sloppy tar laying, and bike lanes with wire that trips riders, hell and watching for overly emotional road hogs that honk at u because u r n the road, granted no sidewalk riding is stamped on these things. 😮
