You can bake these as many times as you like for desired look. Be sure to add comments on out come and pics for others so we know how these are turning out.
I have been reading up on this, and had to try! Being a very impatient person, I did _fifteen_ pieces at once! It really does make a difference! Unfortunately, it doesn’t show well in photos, because I think CZs photo and video a lot better than they look in person. I had really mixed results with different kinds of rings. I did 400 degrees for two hours then left it to cool for 3 1/2 hours. One ring, a 1 CT surrounded with a swirl of stones looks completely different. The main stone really looks like a diamond! The other stones in it look a little too brown-almost champagne, which is weird, because a jeweler who does this with her CZs said it can’t change color in the process, just get sharper and clearer. I am going to try to remove tarnish, if that is what it is (I believe the metal changed color, too) and see if anything changes. I had panicked moments with a couple of pieces where the stones looked dead and brown, but the holes behind them were clogged with tarnish from the process, and a silver cleaning fixed that problem. A two CT solitaire looks a little better, but probably needs a lot more time. It still looks super cloudy with just a little more sharpness and sparkle than before. A wedding set I loved when I ordered, but never wore because the center stone looked ridiculously fake has really improved, but the center stone needs more time, while the rest of the ring is definitely done. Someone in a forum mentioned you can achieve the same thing with direct flame (!), and I might try that with this ring. It really needs more sharpness and clarity. One little ring I have has maybe a .3 CT stone that was the best-looking by far already. This process made it even more realistic. It’s amazing. I took a chance with a couple of ring wraps, especially one that I love and use all the time. It’s silver and tarnished in the process, so I have to treat it, but the stones are so much better. They have sparkle instead of a continuous white “glow,” if you know what I mean. Here is one thing I learned-do not do this on heart-shaped stones! At least not with more information. (This may also be applicable to other shapes, like oval, marquis, or pear-I’m not sure) I have one white heart solitaire and one with my husband’s and my birthstone colors in two hearts that are inverted to each other (one facing up, the other down). They came out weird-like the heat affected certain parts more than others (maybe based on whether they were flipped one side or the other during the cooking process), and they almost look deformed because of how certain spots are very light and sparkly, and others are dark. I will try to figure out which way they were laying on the foil, reverse them, and try again. Right now, it’s almost impossible to tell that they are heart-shaped. You can only tell in photos, which confirms that CZS are good liars in pics! LOL Anyway, sorry if this was too long. I obviously have a CZ “problem!” But I hope the info can be helpful to someone!
Berricle cz's have been known to turn brown So they can indeed change color. I did 350 for 4 hours. I have also done 400 for 3 All in all it's just a crap shoot, but if the ring hasn't set you back to much, it's worth the chances. Thanks for your experience share❤
About open flame...... I would highly recommend you not do that with your favored rings. The thing about czs is they can crack if exposed to extreme temp changes. That's why you bake them in a non preheated oven and then let them set til oven cools. You also risk melting your metal prongs and jeopardizing their strength. I would highly suggest removing cz from setting if you do attempt that method. Also you can definately keep baking until you achieve your desired goal for your cz look. Much luck.
@@dawnellebryant2244 Where did you find the ring that you baked in this video? Can't find any CZ rings that beautiful! Btw, you did an awesome job! The one you're wearing in this video, please do a full review.. where you got it, how it's holding up, how long you've had it, etc. Please! Thinking of getting one and if I'm not mistaken that is the newshe that is designed to look like a ring from the Vera Wang love collection?
Ashleigh, I have the one she’s wearing. It’s the NewShe and I got it from Amazon. I’ve had it for 2 years and it has been wonderful. Just recently started losing small stones so I ordered a replacement which arrived today. I’m scared to bake it though! But for $34 it’s almost a risk worth taking.
I have the same exact ring that you have on. The one that has the sapphire in it, same exact ring. I wanted to ask if you bake it cause I wanna try it but I'm nervous about the whole sapphire being in there?
I just got from Amazon a Wuziwen 4 carat total wedding set 925 on the bands. Can I bake this brand? I’m so nervous to try this!! I’ve read use a glass pan or a metal pan- does it make a difference? I hope you answer quickly even though it’s now 2021 because I want to try this now.
I’m currently waiting on a ring from this same company. I arrives tomorrow. And it has the Sapphire in it. I’m going to do this as soon as I receive it. Did you ever try it?
The one on the left looks better to me.. but I know after you bake it the brilliance doesn’t really show well on camera.. I did one and it came out so pretty
I just tried it and it looks amazing. The only thing is the depth and clarity goes away when cleaning the ring after 2 days of wear. Does it mean ring needs to be baked after each cleaning?
Wow! The difference is absolutely stunning! I love diamonds but I refuse to spend that much on real diamonds. I am brutal to my jewelry especially my rings and I'd be so angry at myself if my husband bought me a real diamond ring. I purchased a GORGEOUS ring from jewelry palace on Amazon and OMG, it's just gorgeous, the diamonds are already beautiful and very realistic but I've been thinking about baking it after a friend told me she baked hers lol I'd cry if my stones turned brown though. May have to research the company.
I have a palm beach band and a berricle engagement ring.i wear them as a set and you cannot tell the difference between the two. I have baked the palm beach band and it came out sooo clear and gorgeous. I will say that palm beach jewelry is lesser quality as far as the setting. I’ve had 3 previous rings from palm beach and the stones are always loose in the setting.
I just came across your video now, so I'm a little late to this part 🥴 But I was wondering... Do you clean your ring before baking, or just bake it with "normal wear"? TIA!! 🙃
@@diskodiva that's great! Doing my research, many women complained that barnacle cz's turned brown. As a warning I noted that. I guess it's a crap shoot.
I have ten Berricle rings which I baked. Nothing happened to them. I didn't even notice a difference. Berricle rings are nice, bit they're all too clear and glassy. Can you please recommend a company that has more realistic looking CZ rings?

I baked my cz and it has blue satires. Turned out beautiful.
Thanks again for the video.

Very informational 👏 Trying right now with my CZ tennis necklace.
How did that turn out?

Omg so exciting im gonna be baking today lol
Berricle?
Yes that's the cz you do NOT want to bake
As soon as she said starts with a b, I knew it was them. Their rings also seem to rhodium plated so you can't resize if your ring is a little off
I just came across your video now, so I'm a little late to this part 🥴
But I was wondering... Do you clean your ring before baking, or just bake it with "normal wear"?

I read you should clean it carefully and do not touch it until after baking. They say that fingerprints can be baked onto the stone.
I see absolutely no difference. Maybe a slight change in color, but that's it.
I went back to the first video and it looks exactly the same clarity wise but is yellow now. Wouldn’t call that a success.
A real diamond has a warm tone to it and that can be a warm gold or yellow tone .
Lol you don't know much about diamonds do you?
Be careful my smaller stones in My ring turned brown after baking them a short time.
She mentioned a specific brand not to bake toward the end. Sorry that happened to you. 💎
Jajajaja 🤣
Berricle is the CZ you do NOT bake
I just baked a Berricle with no problem.

Newshe Jewelry has amazingly real looking rings. I have the exact wedding set she is wearing in the video.
There are different levels of cubic zirconia
Do NOT add water to the pan
Dawnelle Bryant I just saw another video and they did add water. Now I’m confused 😂
If you do it with a super cheap ring it turns the metal a DARK silver :/
OMG lmaoo 🤣🤣
