- Today we will make fake diamonds look real because everyone should know the simple thing that will make CZ shine like a diamond. While cubic zirconia doesn't sparkle like real diamonds you can do something to make those fake diamonds shine like a real diamond. The good news is that the cheaper the "diamond" the better the results with this easy method.

Here are the steps:
1) Wash with toothbrush and water
2) Let dry thoroughly (I let mine dry overnight - any water can cause the stone to crack)
3) Place in glass pan and place in cold oven
4) Turn on oven to 400 degrees F
5) Let cook for 1 - 4 hours (I had great results after an hour)
6) let cool in the oven - do not open oven - a drastic temperature change will cause stone to crack (it took my oven several hours to cool to room temp).

We believe that there is no one size fits all plan for being successful with money so we are creating our own path. It is our theory that every family should evaluate their own financial struggles and determine the root cause of those issues. For us, those issues stemmed from committing to giving without looking at the impact on our own financial situation. We did not have debt because we bought fancy cars or clothes, we had debt because we chose to give away hundreds of thousands of dollars before we actually earned it. Now when we give, we give with cash that we have saved for the sole purpose of giving.
We understand the shame and guilt of having such a large income and not having enough cash to pay for an emergency...like when the transmission on the car goes out or there are large medical expenses. We have developed a plan that works for us and we are so proud of how far we have come since 2016!

I have done this with sterling/cz rings and 14kt/cz rings...no damage at all and appearance of stones does become more realistic!

I baked my engagement ring that’s a 10kt yellow gold band, but I know the stones are not real. I want to see if I can get rid of that square glare in the center of the cz. But I was scared something was going to happen so I took it out 45 minutes later. It was shiny, but the dull cz square was still in the center of the stone. I put it back in the oven for an hour. We shall see.
Ok Maybe my band isn’t real because when I took it out after the hour it had a rose gold tone on the band. It freaked me out so I sat it in baking soda and white vinegar lined with aluminum foil.

Honestly I love Moissanite as much as diamonds, but my diamond is a D color which is almost colorless. Why would you assume no one has an 8 carat diamond or any diamond size in colorless. Some people prefer a higher quality color D E OR F over clarity when on a specific budget? The mark of a great quality diamond price wise is to be as colorless as possible.
Clarity scale is different than Color scale, diamonds graded by GIA of a clarity of F / Flawless, IF / Internally Flawless with a color of DEF are going to co$t multi-millions of dollars! Lab created diamonds come very close to that, weather CVD or HPHT because they are controlled development inside chamber to exclude inclusions, blemishes, and florescents! About the same for moissanite except it is double refractive and diamonds are single refractive under a mag loop !
@@rrfields65 yes. I understand clarity grade and color grade are different. There are people who can afford a D color that is IF Or VVS1 with a mined diamond. People shouldn't assume they cannot. Moissanite is also closest to diamond mined or lab created to hardness at 9.25 on the mohs scale. A colorless or almost colorless is gorgeous and looks diamond like even with double refractory. It's durable and I think those who choose it are not going cheap, they are simply choosing an alternative to a diamond. Not a diamond simulant. And my D diamond is a vvs1 in clarity. Ex polish ex symmetry.
@@Elizabethselby : oh absolutely! Charles and Covard Moissanite is averaging DEF color and IF clarity, I think if some were multi-faceted ( 112 facets ) Hearts and Arrows Super Ideal cut and polish , they would be some beautiful stones!
Now, the cut shape is going to be the key ....
@@rrfields65 agree. So many don't realize how much a well cut stone means. For example, is the skirt or girdle faceted? I have seen some that are DEF that aren't C&C. I think the hybrid ice cut does help take away some of the sparkle if the double refraction is a bother.

What kind of nails do you use?
Dashing diva or kiss. They last me about 10 days if I wipe my mails down with alcohol first and make sure they fit me perfectly. If they are even the slightest bit big they get water under them and fall off. The key is to not get your hands wet for several hours after you put them on

Wendy dear, I can put my Gemoro Testerossa diamond/moissanite/sapphire tester on those CZ's ...and it will do nothing! dear- we Russians invented Cubic Zirconia in a Skull Crucible in 1976 , at a temp. of 5,285 degrees F ! your oven of 500 degrees F will do absolutely not a thing to change the Cubic crystal lattice structure . But спасибо большое for buying and wearing our diamond simulate , after all ...you don't have to pay millions to look a million !
You can preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Leave it in 20 minutes and drop it in ice water. It does work.v

You know they have been able to duplicate fake diamonds but no one has been able to make gold in a lab food for thought maybe somebody should try it if you do send me half of your gold since I gave you the idea LOL
They have made gold in a lab setting. But the method used would make an ounce of gold cost about a billion American dollars. 2 ways to do it, #1 combine two atoms on the lower side of the periodic table, #2 split an atom on the higher end of the periodic table.

But it is still unstable and cast the extra 3 electrons out of the atomic mass !
