    Superb job. Forgive my ignorance but are nail-plates simply a device to stop someone nailing into a concealed cable?

    I’m lying in wait for the guy who comments that routing in the nailing plates is overkill, because he’s obviously never done drywall.

      I got the idea from Scott Brown Carpentry. First time I ever tried it, but I like how it makes everything lay flat and solid.

      @@FamilyFriendlyDIY Especially with the millwork it is justified. But even without it just makes life easier. Nice work!
